The war with Iran has already begun

Below is a comment discovered on the LiveLeak thread accompanying the post of the video. Something to THINK about and study. Reading the neocon "thinkers" and their "rationales" what is being said is the unthinkable, but provides a more viable choice that is for sure. To all who might not understand why I post this, one word is paramount.

PEACE.

This is very akin to the Heritage Foundation's "analysis"; however it seems to represent a more "progressive" stance as to the actual situation as it pertains to US strategic interest in coming decades. The approach also precludes sitting on America's allies to provide backup and puts together two countries strategic interests. Since Dick Cheney's lovely oil pipeline plans came to naught during the past seven years; the ONLY way to ensure keeping Russia from raising from the ash would actually to be to ally with IRAN. Yup. The insane rush to get oil of the Arctic would be over at least for some time.

Seems to me that the US is going to have to wait for a complete sweeping of the broom in DC before this option could ever occur.

I've suggested moving the nation's capital to somewhere remote in the Dakotas as a very good First Step towards sanity and they can think things through in the US' real interest and stop putting the energy companies and "defense" contractors ahead of the American people OR the planet's existence. Hopefully, such a government would have some real environmentalists at the head of it, like some wise Lakota!!

And now for something completely different, a refreshing view of the Middle East options available.

The US will never attack Iran directly using nuclear weapons or any other weapons. However it doesn't mean it isn't trying to topple it or at least weaken it.

The US foreign policy is based on two 25 years sub-cycles for a total of 50 years. Soviet Union collapsed exactly 50 years after WW2 and so was also Iran's turn: 1953 (date of the CIA coup) 50 = 2003. However, it didn't go as planned...

The US is scratching its head with what to do about Iran. For the first time, a country has proven the 50-year plan wrong. The complete collapse of Iran like the Soviet Union was due 5 years ago and the US's plan is falling behind schedule. With Iraq to the West and Afghanistan to the East in US's hands, Iran was supposed to implode (i.e. popular revolts against the government, etc.) or be weakened enough to move in troops already positioned in Iraq and Afghanistan. This plan is not working for the option of using ground troops does not exist anymore and the only possibility to engage Iran is by the air.

An air assault, be it just one bullet against an ant walking in Iran or the use of nuclear weapons to destroy Iran's infrastructure will be the same to all the people of Iran and the world also. It is an act of agression which will be answered to the best of their ability.

Having said so, it is important to remind everyone the real purpose behind the US's move against Iran. It has nothing to do with Islam or Iran but with money interests who use the US's human and financial resources to control the world economy.

War on terror, war against radical Islam!? If that's the case then the US should be advocating regime change in Saudi Arabia, the most backward, violent, radical version of Islam practiced ever in world history, not to mention that all, except one or two, 9/11 hijackers were Saudis.

No, the real reason is China and India (or any other future power). The new economic powerhouses of the new century. It's been about these two countries all along. By securing the oil and gas resources of the middle-east, the US can continue to control the world economy. Factories, cars, plastic, etc. all require oil. By making China pay $200 a barrel for its oil, China and India will lose their competitivity.

Losing control of the oil, would mean the end of the US. There is no way the US can compete with China or India (mainly due to demographic reasons) and the only way to survive is to make the Chinese and Indians pay though their nose for their oil.

Let's not fool ourselves, Iran is a bankrupt country economically but with a very rich culture and history, which has given its people an illusion of grandeur which does not match today's reality. Any other country in the Iranians' situation would have bowed down, like Libya, but the Iranians while knowing fully well they have no chance against the superior US military, they prefer to die with their head high and are painstakingly surviving with barely nothing (i.e. economic sanctions for the last 30 years, etc.).

It's the story of David (Iran) and Goliath (US) all over again. Seeing this, one can only have admiration for the Iranian people, who has not attacked anyone in over 1000 years and contributed so much to human civilization.

Iranians, due to their culture, are a freedom-loving people. The only way to kill an Iranian is to take his freedom away, not by bombs or bullets. If you take his freedom away, he will take his own life before you can take his. Martyrdom is the ultimate symbol of freedom.

Freedom, according to the ancient Iranians, is acquired by way of following the Righteous path called "Asha", namely by practicing "Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Thoughts".

The term Aryan denotes this philosophy also. Aryan or Iran, is composed of a stem "Ir" which means noble. The "an" suffix is just its plural form. A noble, is someone who is free, unlike the slave, whose freedom was taken away.

In Iran's case, what the US is fighting against is not some junk Russian military equipment but a civilization based on a thousands-year old culture.

As long as the Iranians keep their culture alive, there is no way the US or any other future superpowers can defeat it.

The US should ally itself with Iran if it wants to remain a superpower.

Why go with the middle-men (Jews) when you can deal directly with the Iranians?
