Today's earthquake bulletin!!

BULLETIN ITEM: Japan rocked by 6.7 Great Quake and multiple quakes Class 4 to 5

MWM: P.S. Did we or did we not point to this possible reaction in the crust during this window of time from the accelerated plate motion which is underway? Did we or did we not point to Japan just 48 hours ago? The Earth, the lunar syzygy/cycles concepts, and the EC Bulletin are on a roll, so to speak. There were many aftershocks in Japan, as they say. Worldwide, frequency is a little elevated and magnitude is in a major spike a few times over average. Needless to say: HEADS UP PACIFIC RIM. We are in a major "episode of more rapid shape-shifting of the Earth, induced by substantially faster spreading in the Great Rifts, esp. North Atlantic and apparently (by inference) in the East Pacific. Both portend increased stress and major release in North American fault zones, RIGHT NOW and for at least the next few days.

TOKYO, May 8 (Reuters) - A earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.7 jolted eastern Japan early on Thursday, and was felt over a wide area, including in Tokyo, Japan's meteorological agency said.

The quake, at 1:45 a.m. (1645 GMT, Wednesday), was centred in the Pacific Ocean east of Tokyo.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage after the quake, which measured 5 on the Japanese scale of 7 in some parts northeast of Tokyo, NHK said.

No tsunami damage was expected from the quake but there may be slight sea level changes, the agency said on its website. (Reporting by Hugh Lawson; Editing by Rodney Joyce)
