WAR IS PEACE says NATO, nuclear war to SAVE civilization

Big Brother is here, now.

I am writing this on the day America's fiscal holocaust has become evident to All who finally care to see. For me it was just "a matter of time" and whether it would be a looooong fizzle or a big fat crash.

Time's are beyond interesting they are STRANGE and DELUDED.

Did you EVER, in your lifetime expect to see the following headline? Did you think people could be THIS deluded and INSANE??

Pre-emptive nuclear strike a key option, Nato told

Ian Traynor in Brussels
Tuesday January 22, 2008
The Guardian

The west must be ready to resort to a pre-emptive nuclear attack to try to halt the "imminent" spread of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, according to a radical manifesto for a new Nato by five of the west's most senior military officers and strategists.

it says in paragraph one of the article - can someone tell me how this is "RADICAL" This is INSANE THINKING and ought to have been reported as such.

"We must use nuclear weapons to prevent their use." is their western military's BATTLE CRY in a world weary of war.

What happens, as with Iraq or Iran, we have crazies making wild accusations but no evidence: Is "first use" against an illusion defensible?

No, it's a war crime.

These people are retarded: They - the Bush-crazed global war on terror people- would have us believe they can't figure out how to save e-mails that they cannot obey federal laws to hang onto important evidence to avoid the torture of American/western troops and the troops of American allies; but they want to use nuclear weapons to save peace.

War is peace.

We fought for nuclear non proliferation -- now all that is to be undone!!

Calling for root-and-branch reform of Nato and a new pact drawing the US, Nato and the European Union together in a "grand strategy" to tackle the challenges of an increasingly brutal world, the former armed forces chiefs from the US, Britain, Germany, France and the Netherlands insist that a "first strike" nuclear option remains an "indispensable instrument" since there is "simply no realistic prospect of a nuclear-free world"

Did you, dear reader, think that Report from Iron Mountain was a hoax, it was NOT. I suggest you have a right good read of it, because following Sibel Edmonds SENSATIONAL revelations - the PTB have felt compelled to have this Guardian article written to scare the shit out of you and to induce you to just GIVE UP.

The manifesto has been written following discussions with active commanders and policymakers, many of whom are unable or unwilling to publicly air their views. It has been presented to the Pentagon in Washington and to Nato's secretary general, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, over the past 10 days. The proposals are likely to be discussed at a Nato summit in Bucharest in April.

So much for Robert Gates and Condeleeza Rice's new "benevolent face" in setting war policy as suggested in the Boston Globe recently. Dick Cheney has been "off the radar" - now we know what he's been up to. Have a read about what Gates said after the release on the NIE report on Iran. Now have a read of what was released by one of Project Mockingbird's US journalists just an hour ago (1/22/008) saying how Gates is spanking NATO - Yeah, right.

All anarchist hands in Europe were already discussing the Bucharest protest of Nato in Bucharest - they are fed up waiting on Americans to mobilize You can read comment here. You may care to visit the Website, contra hypen doxa dot com. Indeed what would a global mobilization against NATO look like !!??

"The risk of further [nuclear] proliferation is imminent and, with it, the danger that nuclear war fighting, albeit limited in scope, might become possible," the authors argued in the 150-page blueprint for urgent reform of western military strategy and structures. "The first use of nuclear weapons must remain in the quiver of escalation as the ultimate instrument to prevent the use of weapons of mass destruction."

The authors - General John Shalikashvili, the former chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff and Nato's ex-supreme commander in Europe, General Klaus Naumann, Germany's former top soldier and ex-chairman of Nato's military committee, General Henk van den Breemen, a former Dutch chief of staff, Admiral Jacques Lanxade, a former French chief of staff, and Lord Inge, field marshal and ex-chief of the general staff and the defence staff in the UK - paint an alarming picture of the threats and challenges confronting the west in the post-9/11 world and deliver a withering verdict on the ability to cope.

Well, when you have war criminals and militarist running the show, taking in NO counter proposals or suggestions I'll bet it was pretty damned grim putting together that report. Damned grim.

The post 9/11 world has been run by a war room in Dick Cheney's office. The post 9/11 world is full of lies and cover ups. There has been no TRUE information ever released - and even the 9/11 commission is admitting that they weren't given all the information they needed!! I can see it now - that spread sheet spread out in front of the NATO commanders as they sat at the conference tables "THREAT" "CHALLENGES" crying out in bold letters.

"SOLUTIONS" = which might include TELLING THE TRUTH, with non manipulated intelligence - was probably not the highest agenda.

The five commanders argue that the west's values and way of life are under threat, but the west is struggling to summon the will to defend them. The key threats are:

· Political fanaticism and religious fundamentalism.

· The "dark side" of globalisation, meaning international terrorism, organised crime and the spread of weapons of mass destruction.

· Climate change and energy security, entailing a contest for resources and potential "environmental" migration on a mass scale.

· The weakening of the nation state as well as of organisations such as the UN, Nato and the EU.

Read those one more time!! Do you see Cheney's dark hand in writing them? He's referred to the need for a "dark side" to deal with the challenge to Western Society, he's set up the Energy task force to avoid looking at solutions to energy problems, AND he's worked hard and long at destroying national sovereignty in every nation. The criminals in the White House have operated with the assumption that they OWN the world, as Noam Chomsky has pointed out, they OWN what happens to the planet itself, and to retain control of every square inch they have come up with the ideology and framework to ensure that they stay IN Control ..

So let's look at Cheney, the PRIVATE commander in chief of the so-called free world has to say ; it's truly his hand in writing what comes next. This is the science fiction book we've been reading for a looooong time, so what is his ENDGAME = the Guardian enlightens:

To prevail, the generals call for an overhaul of Nato decision-taking methods, a new "directorate" of US, European and Nato leaders to respond rapidly to crises, and an end to EU "obstruction" of and rivalry with Nato. Among the most radical changes demanded are:

· A shift from consensus decision-taking in Nato bodies to majority voting, meaning faster action through an end to national vetoes.

· The abolition of national caveats in Nato operations of the kind that plague the Afghan campaign.

· No role in decision-taking on Nato operations for alliance members who are not taking part in the operations.

· The use of force without UN security council authorisation when "immediate action is needed to protect large numbers of human beings".

In a swift stroke we are to tolerate the entire premise of international law.

Big Brother is here! The borg is being created! You are either with us or against us!! The propaganda has been catapaulted to its logical extension!! A guy with a pacemaker, having had 3 heart operations already, guilty of war crimes and the deaths of MILLIONS of people will now circumvent the entire apparatus of the United Nations == and the rulings of the International Court. There is no snark to express my disdain ...

In the wake of the latest row over military performance in Afghanistan, touched off when the US defence secretary, Robert Gates, said some allies could not conduct counter-insurgency, the five senior figures at the heart of the western military establishment also declare that Nato's future is on the line in Helmand province.

"Nato's credibility is at stake in Afghanistan," said Van den Breemen.

"Nato is at a juncture and runs the risk of failure," according to the blueprint.

Robert Gates, over a game of golf maybe, with Dick Cheney discuss this:

"How do WE get NATO, which we stuck with a monumental task of pacifying Afghanistan (never been done before on the history of the planet), having defied international laws and covenants ("black sites" in place nicely now), having set up NATO for a mission for which it had no experience; having ensured that that the heroin trade is flourishing these days; how do we the NATO commanders to attack one another and turn to US for advice??"

Naumann delivered a blistering attack on his own country's performance in Afghanistan. "The time has come for Germany to decide if it wants to be a reliable partner." By insisting on "special rules" for its forces in Afghanistan, the Merkel government in Berlin was contributing to "the dissolution of Nato".

Partnership with the most violence nation to have hit the planet trumps international law and the rule of LAW. Merkel must have sure ticked off Dubya when she rejected his advances and didn't like the "neck rub" at the G-8 summit, eh?

Who is running this world!! Elected citizens or NATO commanders?

I've heard the bs streaming from the mouth of Canada's NATO commander. Now we have the latest mess with Gates statements that NATO isn't doing it's job - it's caused a ruckus here, too.

Canada is "accommodating" US military demands and bullying because it doesn't not wish to see it's economy sacked and has deferred to Big Brother to keep up its treasury reserve in this very rocky economic season to come. The above link show you how the Canadian government used dollars brought in to assuage the press - they're making us MONEY!!

On Friday, US President George W Bush tapped Army General David McKiernan as the new commander for NATO's international forces in Afghanistan. If confirmed by the US Senate, McKiernan would relieve General Dan McNeill, who has headed the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) since February. The rotation of NATO commander is ongoing. I don't think it is a streeeeeeeeeeeetch to say that Washington is heavily reliant at using Cheney's "keep em unstable" and "playing all sides against the middle" tactics. This latest NATO announcement is proof that it works!!

So let's bring in the think (or don't) tanks, guys paid vast sums of money to to the global war on terror hype and see what they have to say, shall we?

Ron Asmus, head of the German Marshall Fund thinktank in Brussels and a former senior US state department official, described the manifesto as "a wake-up call". "This report means that the core of the Nato establishment is saying we're in trouble, that the west is adrift and not facing up to the challenges."

NOw in all honesty when I read that paragraph, the word Nato appeared as Nazi, it really did. Yes, the nazi's who would run this world ARE in trouble. How are they going to justify the maintenane myriad military bases, the tremendous gas guzzling by the DoD, the Isrealis and Nato, the construction of a military defense shield that is totally without merit and already laden with corruption and folly - while the planet is falling apart socially, environmentally, financially. Want to get hip the entire game being had - want to know the ENTIRE game, be patient and read my entire link on military defense shield, all of it. Someone in the FOURTH branch of government is getting very testy and projecting once again. He need defense, NOT europe and how in the world he got the coalition of the willing to go along with his insanity is beyond me. NATO intl needs a beef up and some oversight as to who the real nuclear rogues actually are.

The game now has obviously become very dangerous. I repeat - delusion is rampant.

In an age of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act, says Orwell.

The world WILL resist AND there will be no major construction efforts in the next few decades. As I like to say WATCH. The West is adrift and it's time to get over itself.

The Great American Spending Party is over!! And the Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Britain are NOT going to pay the credit card bills. Brown is increasingly being exposed as the economic rotter that he is; trust me - the UK treasury has been looted bailing out Northern Rock. His fifty bonds will be a joke when they mature in 2050 because there will be so much inflation they will be worth not a single shilling. (be sure to read that last link -- it will show you how financial reporting is growing some teeth finally and getting SNARKY about this ruling class assh*les. At long, bloody last!!) Canada just put Isreal and its torture list because it does not want (One presumes) to lose all that love defense money; it's buttering what bread it has. What IS happening in the Netherlands - I seriously don't have time to find out!! But all this points to one thing . if the US is in a panic, it's the allies who are going to be made to PAY - that's you and I folks! not the guys at the top, surely not them.

The West has lost it's slavery racket - it's financial institutions are having an NDE - and Dick&Co and all those lovely corporations and lobbyists want to find a military solution and this is IT?? Think on it.

Naumann conceded that the plan's retention of the nuclear first strike option was "controversial" even among the five authors. Inge argued that "to tie our hands on first use or no first use removes a huge plank of deterrence".

Hmmm.. I wonder who the SANE people were! Someone must have seen the delusion and insanity.

Reserving the right to initiate nuclear attack was a central element of the west's cold war strategy in defeating the Soviet Union. Critics argue that what was a productive instrument to face down a nuclear superpower is no longer appropriate.

No, it was not. This is propaganda at its worst. The plain cold truth is this -- After the horrible devastation of Japan by using nukes, and it becoming totally apparent what kind of damage is done - to the land, to people, to economies, to animals, to entire ecosystem - people did not want nuclear energy. But the profitabilty of such a new creative sector has bailed the West out for over fifty years!!

Robert Cooper, an influential shaper of European foreign and security policy in Brussels, said he was "puzzled".

"Maybe we are going to use nuclear weapons before anyone else, but I'd be wary of saying it out loud."

Another senior EU official said Nato needed to "rethink its nuclear posture because the nuclear non-proliferation regime is under enormous pressure".

Naumann suggested the threat of nuclear attack was a counsel of desperation. "Proliferation is spreading and we have not too many options to stop it. We don't know how to deal with this."

This is a the shop sign of a going out of business US imperial empire that cannot figure out how to liquidate itself.

Nato needed to show "there is a big stick that we might have to use if there is no other option", he said.

The US DoD is cryin and the only answer they can come up with is to leave us all blowin in the (nuclear) wind.

Good job, guys! We pay you well to come up with these answers.

The real solution is not a strategic military one

to what ails NATO and the rest of the West (who is no battle with Islam, that's just hype we paid to hear coming from Great Leader)

The answer to the mess is US, you, me, We the People

Here is Chalmer's Johnson's conclusions about the United States in his brilliant NIE:

It is difficult to predict the course of a democracy, and perhaps even more so when that democracy is as corrupt as that of the United States. With a new opposition party in the majority in the House, the country could begin a difficult withdrawal from military Keynesianism. Like the British after World War II, the United States could choose to keep its democracy by giving up its empire. The British did not do a particularly brilliant job of liquidating their empire, and there were several clear cases in which British imperialists defied their nation’s commitment to democracy in order to keep their foreign privileges – Kenya in the 1950s is a particularly savage example – but the people of the British Isles did choose democracy over imperialism, and that nation continues to thrive as a nation, if not as an empire.

It appears for the moment, however, that the people of the United States prefer the Roman approach and so will abet their government in maintaining a facade of constitutional democracy until the nation drifts into bankruptcy.

Of course, bankruptcy will not mean the literal end of the United States any more than it did for Germany in 1923, China in 1948, or Argentina in 2001. It might, in fact, open the way for an unexpected restoration of the American system, or for military rule,

Do we, We the People, who had a real shot at democracy allow these kinds of military rulers to lead us - or do we go now, put on our coats and hats and stand in our malls (while they're still around ) and hand out information on IMPEACHMENT AT LAST, putting OUR Agenda "on the table", demanding adherance to the Supreme Law fo the land -which includes Geneva and start the Education for Democracy Project, with a full will to seeing implemented. Do we allow Dick Cheney to come in and subvert the international rule of law on OUR watch? Do we QUIT the windowdressing of the primary process and get real -- or do we "go quietly into that good night" getting high on drugs and booze, watching infotainment, being fed lies, tolerating corruption, letting people get away with NO TAXATION to maintain the commons?

Bush is going to Paraquay, Cheney has moved his operations to Dubai. We are left with the mess AT HOME ON OUR SOIL. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?

If you think (rigged) elections are going to bail out the mess you are certainly sadly mistaken - IF you think that our Constitution provides a solution (national sovereignty is still here folks despite what Dick Cheney THINKS) then you must go out and sign the petitions, you must show your neighbors What is To Be Done. And I suggest that you do this SOON, as Cheney's racketed up the propagana to get Iran turned into a parking lot so Halliburton can keep making insane profits (and KRB for BuZh) at our expense ..

Now can we put you military NATO experts in a mental hospital??

Or would the international criminal court (ICC) procedings be the answer??

You are rattling a saber and the one you've picked falls under WAR CRIMES.

WAR IS NOT PEACE. Do not listen to Cheney, he's deluded. And the world knows.
