"Rose Covered Glasses" is a serious essay, satire and photo-poetry commentary from a group of Minnesota veterans.

It's a monumental blog. Although I've published about it before - I just went over there on a cyberwalk and saw some great new items had been posted.

I've just recapped some links below, stuff you should check out! But do go and look at the blog for yourself - it is BOTH informative (very) and emotionally beautiful at the same time.

One thing I really like about this blog IN PARTICULAR is that it asks for activism - it's not just a policywonk or sensationalist blog at all! (and it's from my home state of Minnesota, coooooooool.)

HOW THE PENTAGON CONTRACTS ITSELF INTO A CORNER

Government Computer News (GCN) carried a story on the difficulties experienced with, "Performance-Based Contracting". The process was made part of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in an attempt to pre-establish at contract award those discrete outcomes that determine if and when a contractor will be paid.
