I watch all the "developments" in horror. I don't see a single sign the government or the NGOs are in the least bit prepared to deal with the horror to come. I wonder, too, how many condos are STILL being built in these high risks areas, as that's just the last laugh, so to speak, of human stupidity!! Always remember my you are on your own warnings. When disaster strikes, the government will rescues the rich and that is ALL. Best to have a PLAN. In this case, it is wise to remember the biggest killer in KATRINA was a lack of clean water. A true humanitarian (and this means YOU) would be contacting the Abbotsford food banks, working with good clean organizations (not neocon churces!) to ensure that people have ready access to buses, water and food. EXTREME care must be taken to ensure that every man, woman and child is taken into account. Read up on the Katrina disaster and find out NOW what exactly went wrong and take steps to prevent that level of human calamity. The want depopulation, but helping man become empowered and destroying RAMPANT sexism and racism will do much more to accomplish the thinning of the population. Canada knows full well this coming, yet you don't see a single national warning being issued yet. Why they built TRILLIONS on a highway system knowing that this is coming down is a national scandal. (Ah, but it kept the useless eaters going to work to pay the elite to RULE over them when the time comes.) Emergency Preparedness Week starts Saturday

Many of us think natural disasters like earthquakes, volcano eruptions and floods won't affect us - only other people, the ones you see on the news.

EVENTS KICK OFF THIS SATURDAY

But what if? A flood, earthquake or a Mount Baker eruption could easily affect valley residents, so the City of Abbotsford is encouraging locals to get involved during Emergency Preparedness Week, which kicks off Saturday at Mill Lake Park.

"We are in an area where the potential for hazards can affect us every day," said the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service's Ron Hull, who is deputy chief in emergency planning for the city.

"In the event of a large-scale incident, the more prepared you are, the better."

Ideally, people should be prepared to be self-sufficient for 72 hours in such an event, Hull said, but, "realistically, we'd like to see people self-sustainable for a week."

DRINKABLE WATER, FOOD IMPORTANT

Having drinkable water and food are important, Hull said, but so is knowing about the risks, and having a plan in place if your home is destroyed.

Emergency Preparedness Week starts with a pancake breakfast on Saturday, and will feature displays, demonstrations, workshops and a first aid Olympics. Events run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Other presentations will run at the Seniors' Resource Centre [2478 McCallum Rd., Abbotsford] all week, such as It Won't Happen Here, a personal preparedness event, which starts at 7 p.m. Monday.

Emergency measures

The recent discovery of a shallow fault line near Abbotsford, capable of producing a massive earthquake, underscores the importance of being prepared for an emergency.

New hazard maps released last week by the U.S. Geological Survey show that the fault, which is 11 km long and 17 km wide, spreads from the Bellingham area north towards Abbotsford.

According to seismologist Craig Weaver, the fault has the capacity to produce an earthquake measuring 6.8, strong enough to cause damage to buildings throughout Metro Vancouver.

But earthquakes are not the only worry for Langley residents and, as Emergency Preparedness Week approaches, Langley’s Provincial Emergency Program co-ordinator Ginger Sherlock is urging everyone to use the opportunity to be prepared.

Train derailments which involve the release of toxic materials would trigger an evacuation of homes and businesses. A pandemic would cause massive disruptions in hospitals, the workplace, schools and public transportation systems, as would flooding, which posed a real threat last year.

And while the prevailing winds all but rule out a significant impact from Mount Baker blowing its top, winds from a volcanic eruption in Hawaii could blow ash over B.C.

At the moment, there are no suggestions that flooding on the scale anticipated a year ago will occur this spring, but all it would take is a spell of warm weather to melt snow all at once for major flooding to follow, Sherlock said.

“Mother Nature is unpredictable,” she said.

If for no other reason, be prepared. “It takes time to think personally how you are going to be prepared,” she said.

“Everyone needs to think, ‘How will a certain event impact me?’”

For example, people in wheelchairs need to know that there is someone who will help them. A personal support network is crucial for everyone, and someone in this network should have a key to your home, know how to operate medical equipment and where emergency supplies are kept.

Anyone on medication should keep a list, including dosage, and note all allergies.

Sherlock urges everyone to have “out of area contact cards.” Given to family and friends, these record pertinent details which can be relayed to contacts living outside the Lower Mainland.

Sherlock said that if land line phones are knocked out in an emergency, out-of-area lines may still be intact.

Emergencies can strike at any time, often with little warning, and 95 percent of those ‘rescued’ are done so by regular people, family and friends, Sherlock said.

“Everyone has a role to play in learning how to be better prepared,” Sherlock said, adding: “We need to reach out and help one another, be it business to business or neighbour to neighbour. When we know the risks, plan for or minimize those risks, we are not only prepared, but resilient as a community.”

“Don’t be left hanging,” Sherlock warns.

The City and Township of Langley will join the national campaign for Emergency Preparedness Week, May 4 to 10.

A number of activities have been planned to heighten awareness and help educate all Canadians.

Of the 57 identified hazards in B.C., earthquakes are among the most severe. Two thousand are detected every year, and while a small number are large enough to cause damage, the threat of a major one is very real.

Earthquakes cannot be stopped, but there is much we can do to protect ourselves, our families, and our property, Sherlock said. As with all hazards, we all must prepare to be self-sufficient in the event of a disaster.

‘Demystifying earthquakes — what this means to Langley’ is a first step. Led by Maiclaire Bolton, a PEP seismologist, the event will be held at the Murrayville fire hall, 22170 50 Ave., on Tuesday, May 6.

There will be two sessions, the first from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p .m., and the second from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Historically, B.C. has experienced one of the world’s largest earthquakes. British Columbia has been impacted by seven earthquakes with a magnitude of seven or greater in the past 100 years.

These “great” earthquakes like this are rare, occurring every few centuries, but damaging earthquakes can still occur relatively often, approximately once every few decades.

These more frequent earthquakes are of great concern as they can occur inland and closer to the urban centres of Vancouver and Victoria.

Students to Test 'Tsunami Shelters'

Their tsunami shelters are only made out of small wooden blocks and held together by toothpaste used for glue, but they also incorporate months of study with computer-aided design, learning about engineering principles, applying skills to real world problems and the simple ingenuity of hundreds of middle school students from Oregon coastal and rural areas. And now, it’s crunch time. Or maybe collapse time. This Thursday and Friday, about 350 students will travel to the Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory at Oregon State University to see how their one-fiftieth scale models stand up to real wave tests.

This “Tsunami Shelter Challenge” is part of a two-year effort to increase student science and technology skills, using issues that seem relevant – in this case, building a vertical-escape tsunami shelter that could help save lives if such an event hit the Pacific Northwest.

“These students have worked the past year learning about tsunami science, the engineering of structures, and how computational modeling is used to design and test structures,” said Rozeanne Steckler, creator of the project and director of the Northwest Alliance for Computational Science and Engineering at OSU.

“They then used a custom-built tsunami shelter simulator to design and test their structures on a computer,” she added. “Now in the wave basin we’re going to simulate waves that would mimic the 2004 East Asian tsunami. And the big question is: Which structures will be left standing?”

Working in small teams, the students learned about how tsunamis and storm surges happen, the forces they generate, and the types of structural design it would take to withstand them. Testing of their creations will take place in OSU’s Tsunami Wave Basin, the largest facility of its type in the world.

A vertical-escape shelter tries to save lives by helping people get above, rather than away from an incoming wave, in the very short time frame of a few minutes that may be available. The structure needs to be high enough to be above the wave, and strong enough not to collapse from its forces. Most of the Pacific Northwest is now believed to be vulnerable to potentially devastating tsunamis, due mostly to potential future massive earthquakes on the Cascadia Subduction Zone.

The initiative has been funded in part by a $75,000 grant from Symantec Corporation, as part of a corporate goal to encourage more young students to pursue careers in science and technology. It included support for Oregon teachers to be trained with the program, and encourage gender equity in its implementation.

Two Contrasting Models of Lithospheric Structure

The subduction of the Juan de Fuca plate beneath North America changes markedly along the length of the subduction zone, notably in the angle of subduction, distribution of earthquakes, volcanism, geologic and seismic structure of the upper plate, and regional horizontal stress. To investigate these characteristics, we conducted detailed density modeling experiments of the crust and mantle along two transects across the Cascadia subduction zone. One crosses Vancouver Island and the Canadian margin, and the other crosses the margin of central Oregon. Both density models were constructed independently to a depth of approximately 50 km. We gathered all possible geologic, geophysical, and borehole data to constrain the density calculations. The final densities for the Oregon and Vancouver lithosphere models were obtained from gravity inversions.

Our results confirm that the downgoing slab of the Cascadia subduction zone dips significantly steeper beneath Oregon than beneath Vancouver Island, lending support to the idea that the Juan de Fuca plate is segmented from north to south. In addition, our gravity models indicate that the mantle wedge beneath western Oregon (i.e., below the western Cascades) is lighter than the mantle beneath the Canadian continental crust. This low density agrees with the low mantle velocities observed in the mantle and the present day extensional regime of the Pacific Northwest.

A gravity low at the deformation front of the Oregon margin, absent along the Vancouver margin, can be explained by the different bathymetry of the two regions and by the depth to the top of the subducting Juan de Fuca plate. If the accretionary prisms along these profiles were modeled with equal densities, a density inhomogeneity in the lower part of the models would be necessary. Thus that the density of the accretionary prism for the Vancouver profile must be approximately 0.1-0.2 g/cm³ greater than that for Oregon. A density difference within the accretionary prisms also agrees with other data. We note that the volume of accreted sediments is approximately twice as large along the Vancouver profile than along the Oregon profile, and the prism reaches a greater depth (approximately 20 km as compared with 12 km for the Oregon profile). This implies that the sediments within the accretionary prism at Vancouver Island are at a higher metamorphic grade, and therefore have higher densities.

We find that a substantial part of the coastal gravity maxima for both lines is caused by increasing density with depth in the subducting plate. In the proposed model, the maximum possible density of the slab was used to satisfy constraints for the average density of the near coastal crust for both profiles. If a density increase with depth is not introduced into the model, very high densities would be required for the near surface coastal and continental crustal blocks.

Cascadia Subduction Zone Is The Cause!

My friend Robert Somerville calls my attention to an article in the NewScientistEnvironment that says the San Andreas fault is a victim. It's the Cascadia Subduction Zone's fault.

Chris Goldfinger and colleagues at Oregon State University, Corvallis, analysed sediment records from deep sea canyons that stretched back over the last three thousand years, looking for the disturbed strata that are the hallmarks of big earthquakes.

They found evidence that "...the massive Cascadia quakes – eight of which Goldfinger estimates exceeded magnitude 9.0 on the Richter scale – trigger events that top out around magnitude 7.9 along the San Andreas by stress transfer."

Their evidence also suggests that the Cascadia is 90 years overdue for a "big one".

"In answer to your question: Yep- big time earlier- headache, nausea. Took some head med,
it knocked it down a bit. I was at work this evening when it hit me pretty hard, and yes , the neck thing,
etc. This kinda headache is for west coast or US mainland quake. But as you may already know,
we're having a slow slip quake PNW which began Mar 2 thereabouts. Don't think it's over and the
other part of headache was for North pole storms/quake into PNW and Europe side. And I have been
off balance for a month now. This for me is unusual- it began just prior to the Baja swarms and Nevada
6.0 plus all the aftershocks. I got a word from my guide that the whole western side of USA going to
come unglued. That was about a week ago. Thanks

Peak Civilization and the Winter of our Disconnect: Carolyn Baker

PEAK CIVILIZATION AND THE WINTER OF OUR DISCONNECT, By Carolyn Baker

To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring. ~George Santayana~ The appearance of springtime in North America may be more welcome this year than at anytime in recent history. The winter has been long, cold, and dreary-particularly in the Rust Belt where the devastations of housing foreclosures, unemployment, and the resultant blight have left a trail of human misery and degradation not seen since the Great Depression. Ten percent of the population of Ohio now relies on food stamps while hordes of domestic animals abandoned in foreclosed homes endure long and grotesque deaths from starvation. For countless Americans across the nation, this winter has brought with it something far more distressing than brutal, bone-chilling temperatures-horrific, traumatic revelations that the American dream, neatly packaged and sold for decades, has become their worst possible nightmare. Should they happen to see on TV the guy from the Countrywide commercial greeting them with "Homeowners...", they are probably wondering why he hasn't been assassinated and at the very least wondering why Countrywide is still in business. Something is festering in the psyches of the formerly middle class of this nation-something far more ominous than burgeoning public assistance and food stamp applications or mushrooming meth labs. If the subprime mortgage massacre had occurred in a vacuum, the dirty little secret might have been kept a bit longer, but juxtaposing it with Peak Oil, skyrocketing food prices, wacky weather and debilitating droughts, not to mention proliferating pink slips, it daily becomes embarrassingly obvious that Jim Kunstler was spot-on when he uttered his infamous declaration in the documentary, "The End Of Suburbia" that "the entire suburban project is the greatest misallocation of resources in the history of the world." And yet during this "winter of disconnect" we have heard delusional economists and the President himself describe the current horrors in terms of "a soft patch" or the need to "ride this one out until things bounce back." And overall, the human race is virtually ignoring climate change and perseverating in the madness of the ethanol panacea. And speaking of insanity, Europe is rapidly returning to coal-fired power plants, while in China, coal "remains the major source of fuel for two billion people"-nightmare scenarios with respect to global warming and climate change. Meanwhile, Monsanto and other genocidal monsters of food and population control, tout ethanol as an energy panacea--the only tangible result of their hype being mass starvation and astronomical food prices. Or as a friend recently commented: Ethanol is a fabulous solution to our energy dilemma because it will provide more fuel for us to drive around and look for food. The Four Seasons Of Civilization Duane Elgin, author of numerous books including Voluntary Simplicity, postulated fifteen years ago that civilizations evolve through specific stages which ironically follow the shape of a bell curve, similar to the Peak Oil curve, in their development and to which Elgin refers as the "four seasons" of growth. This was long before the bell curve of Peak Oil was familiar to many other individuals besides M. King Hubbert, father of the Peak Oil theory, who died four years before Elgin's book was published. According to Elgin, Stage I of the development of a civilization, "Springtime" is characterized by high growth and an era of faith in future potential. During springtime, there is little bureaucratic complexity, and activities are largely self-regulating. Stage II or "Summer", is an era of reason where social consensus begins to weaken and bureaucratic complexity increases with less self-regulation and more external regulation. "Autumn" follows, ushering in an era of cynicism where consensus weakens considerably, special interest groups surpass the power of a shared social purpose, and bureaucratic complexity mounts faster than the ability to effectively regulate. An era of despair characterizes Stage IV, "Winter", and the collapse of consensus is supplanted by conflicting social purposes. Bureaucratic mechanisms and their complexity become overwhelming, and society begins to break down. Elgin believes that three possible outcomes are likely to emerge from the breakdown of the system. One outcome is collapse as the biosphere is pushed beyond its limits and can no longer support the burden of humanity. Stagnation is another option, in which members of the system expend energy on simply maintaining the status quo. Revitalization is the most desirable option which results from a "period of intense communication and reconciliation that builds a working consensus around a sustainable pathway into the future." The author notes that we get collapse by "perpetuating the status quo and running the biosphere into ruin. We get stagnation when citizens are passive and rely on remote bureaucracies and technological solutions to handle a deteriorating local-to-global situation. We get revitalization only when we directly engage our predicament as individuals, families, communities, and nations." Although Elgin has presented the three options in this particular order, it is clear to me that the current civilization has long since passed through stagnation and is rapidly collapsing. In my opinion, while revitalization may have been possible decades ago when society's elite first learned of Peak Oil, climate change, and numerous renewable energy options, it is now possible only as a consequence of collapse for the simple reason that the progression of collapse has rendered voluntary revitalization extraordinarily problematic, if not impossible. Richard Heinberg's Peak Everything reveals unequivocally that virtually every resource on earth has reached or passed its peak of availability to the human race. Elgin's 1993 theory, however, offers a larger picture in which the likelihood that civilization itself has peaked and is on the downward side of the bell curve is logically plausible. The immediate "winter of our disconnect" (and discontent), described above, has been characterized by an astonishingly rapid unraveling of civilization which appears to accelerate with every passing day. The larger winter is not about specific events such as foreclosures, bankruptcies, food rationing in America, or melting glaciers, but rather the final evolutionary stage of civilization and its eventualities in which we now find ourselves embroiled. In other words, particular occurrences of unraveling indicate irrefutably that we have entered Peak Civilization. It is crucial, in my opinion, to comprehend Peak Civilization so that just as we understand that all of earth's resources have peaked which would prevent us from embracing the chimera of a "return to normalcy", we more astutely grasp the progression of human evolution and its implications in the macrocosm. That is to say that a clear understanding of Peak Oil prevents any rational human being from assuming that a return to cheap and abundant energy is feasible in his/her lifetime. Likewise, recognizing that civilization is in an irreversible trajectory of descent may assist us in conserving our valuable mental, emotional, and spiritual energy so that we do not expend it on phantoms of long-term revitalization. Past-Peak Elections-You Have No Government At this point it becomes necessary to distinguish between long-term and short-term revitalization. From my perspective, as stated above, collapse must occur in order for long-term revitalization to become possible, so attempting to prevent collapse also prevents one from honoring the current stage of civilization now unfolding. One example of understanding civilization's "winter" is to grasp that the only thing more futile than addressing energy depletion with ethanol use is the delusion that legitimate presidential elections actually occur in America offering valid choices between two genuinely opposing candidates who represent two distinct political parties and who are beyond domination, contamination, or exploitation by the transnational corporations that in fact manage the United States. Furthermore, to fully understand Peak Civilization is to understand that the federal government per se does not exist, but rather an elite corporate cartel engaged in the management of citizens-citizens who are now completely on their own in terms of their survival as the pseudo-government continues to implode. Moreover, the cartel's direct intent is the cessation of nation states to be supplanted by corporations and their subsidiaries. Therefore, the task before us is not to perpetuate the status quo by participating in the ersatz federal election debacle, but to, in the words of John Michael Greer "transition to a Third World lifestyle." I believe that any politician who suggests that we can do otherwise and survive as individuals or as a nation, may be committing a crime against humanity. Politicians and centralized systems are incapable of effecting meaningful change. Or as Greer states, "...getting the Federal government to do something constructive about the situation, for instance - [is] a waste of time. That sort of change isn't going to happen. It's not simply a matter of who's currently in power, although admittedly that doesn't help. The core of the problem is that even proposing changes on a scale that would do any good would be political suicide." Although nothing could be more unpalatable for the American public, transitioning to a Third-World lifestyle is precisely what it is being forced to do. And as Greer comments: There's no way to sugar-coat that very unpalatable reality. Fossil fuels made it possible for most people in the industrial world to have a lifestyle that doesn't depend on hard physical labor, and to wallow in a flood of mostly unnecessary consumer goods and services. As fossil fuels deplete, all that will inevitably go away. How many people would be willing to listen to such a suggestion? More to the point, how many people would vote for a politician or a party who proposed to bring on these changes deliberately, now, in order to prevent total disaster later on? What Peak Civilization Really Looks Like Peak Civilization by definition means the disappearance of public education, healthcare, government-issued currency, commercial food production, public access to regional water supplies, interstate commerce, the North American energy grid, and the very infrastructure of the United States. Yet one need not succumb to fatalism. While long-term revitalization cannot be realized now, its seeds can be and are being planted by the proliferation of vibrant relocalization movements erupting and evolving around the world, many of which have been spotlighted at the Truth To Power website. As Duane Elgin emphasizes: "A revitalizing society is a decentralizing society, with grassroots organizations that are numerous enough, have arisen soon enough, and are effective enough to provide a genuine alternative to more centralized bureaucracies." The first headlines of food rationing in America are buzzing across the internet as I write this article. They underscore the unequivocal reality that collapse is going to compel us to feed ourselves or quite simply, we will perish. I believe that food security is the most urgent, the most immediate issue to which we must attend at this moment of Peak Civilization. For months, this website has been informing readers about food storage and preservation and other aspects of preparedness. It is now time, if you have not already done so, to organize groups of citizens in your neighborhood, schools, churches, and community centers to plant and maintain gardens. In addition, collapse is compelling us to rapidly mobilize our neighborhoods and communities to not only accumulate our own supply of stored water but to organize citizens to work with local public water utilities to ensure that they remain public and are not privatized. Health care professionals reading these words need to consider offering local workshops on a regular basis teaching citizens how to treat injuries and illnesses in the absence of a viable healthcare system. Doctors, nurses, dentists, and all manner of medical personnel are likely to be overwhelmed with patients during and after the full-scale breakdown of the system when hospitals and clinics have closed and almost no one can afford health insurance. A recent CBS News video link emailed to subscribers recently by Truth To Power confirms the imminent, total collapse of America's healthcare system and reveals the extent to which anyone with the slightest bit of training in the field is likely to find her/himself inundated with throngs of sick people desperately seeking care. Seeds Of Revitalization Greer emphatically stresses that "The key to making sense of constructive action in a situation of impending industrial collapse is to look at the community, rather than the individual or society as a whole, as the basic unit." Those familiar with Greer's article, "The Coming Deindustrial Society", recall his three requirements for community: A community must have some degree of local organization; it must have a core of people who know how to live without fossil fuels; and it must have food and a production and distribution system for it. In a future article, Truth To Power will add another requirement, namely, the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with other community members. Our challenge at this moment in history is to recognize and intentionally connect with the evolutionary season of winter in which Peak Civilization finds itself because as Duane Elgin admonishes us: "It is time to begin the next stage of our human journey." As I witness most of humanity's current "solutions" to its climate-energy-food-water-population-economic dilemmas, I see only myopic, psychotic strategies, and I have to ask myself whether or not it will be necessary for us to annihilate ourselves and the planet in order to transition into a more advanced evolutionary paradigm that will not permit the human race to ever again engage in anything like the current madness. Tragically, I see almost nothing that suggests otherwise. It is crucial that we comprehend that not only have we entered winter, but that that particular season is going to last a long time. As we navigate that winter, we are allowed our discontent, but we dare not permit ourselves to disconnect from current reality. Simultaneously, it is imperative that we hold a vision of revitalization and plant its seeds everywhere at the same time that we honor more the changing of the seasons than our addiction to springtime.

Some Americans were concerned about Communists cells sprawling across America, supposedly in every state, city, town and rural area. Their plan resembled the spread of a disease through the human body, which then attached itself to other bodies and eventually, like a plague devoured all as it swept away good health and it’s host.

The disease always ate itself to the slow dying it bequeathed its host, but fostering the growth of new negative self-duplications until it exhausted its food, shelter and host to death. I have heard none of the same concern about armed marauders who are doing exactly that throughout the nation-some of them are Private Security firms, which in English means some of them are well armed and armored, killers and corporate Goons. I was exceedingly happy to see that Jerry Bruckheimer touched on the subject in his latest segment of CSI: Miami and was even more pleased to see the Washington Post’s David Harrow filed a FOIA (Federal Freedom of Information Act) and received some 323 pages in response, about half of those pages, though many were clearly titled Un-Classified, they were blank. “Here is a quote from David’s column: Posted at 05:20 PM ET, 12/ 7/2007

“A State Department spokesman said the officials responsible for the cuts are simply trying to protect sensitive information that might put individuals at risk. However, he declined to say even what kind of information was cut. 
In a cover letter, the department notes that it "gave full consideration" to deletions recommended by Blackwater officials.”

David Harrow went on to say that the contract capped out at $1.2 Billion, with, “…a program management base price of $640,000 per year…” and “… Not bad for a company which revenues were less than $100,000 a decade ago…”

We were going to build a home and Office/studio in the Freeport Illinois area, until I found out last week that Blackwater had bought a large land parcel and had built a training center there.

I asked a real estate agent in the area and he said that the sale was made, despite protest, “under the radar,” sometime back and that the only way he found out was that some police were training there. We canceled our plans to even be remotely connected to anyone who would sell them land. We will locate our home and business elsewhere, far from Freeport.

On the other hand, one town that would not, could not; countenance a Private Security Firm living within their town limits did something about it

So Much For “Private Security Firms.” Or Is It?

Dick Cheney and his fellow retro-viral diseases, Wolfowitz, Bolton, Rove and the rest of the Neo-con group have a plan. As far as such ideologue plans go it was a good one, a fantasy some thought, but still a good plan. It had worked to perfection in many societies as far as history stretched into the past.

The plan was simple, but it depended on several major factors. One, which came along seldom, and that major factor depended on many long shots coming through myriads of coincident’s, accidents, plans, and desperate manipulations all falling together at about the same time and within an eight year period. A series of incidents, freak occurrences, some planned victories and a large majority in both the Senate and the House and, of course a president who would listen, or be made to listen to Fascists, do what he was told, and allowing him to think some of the ideas which worked were his.

Then, if by chance all the pieces fell into place, it would take a strong, forward, attitude-meaning that the boldness, hostility and stolidness to never waver, never apologize, never explain, never admit defeat even after having lost, deny the unprovable, twist the provable, display the opposite of what is plainly manifested, lie in the face of obvious truth, and lie, Lie, LIE about everything which cannot be easily verified.

The last link in the chain of Totalitarianism is a really dumb and/or greedy, voter base-a huge combination of avaristic, uniformed, bigoted, fools, a good many very stupid and/or naïve’ people who will believe anything as long as the teller of the fantasy is considered one of their own idols. The success of this plan also required that the corporate world would be willing to do anything for a profit, (which in the vast majority of cases, is a foregone conclusion) including supplying huge funding for projects and elections, to give them huge financial support. … Initially.

Once having acquired all of the above and carefully situating them in all the right places, it lacked only one final ingredient for success, stupid, bumbling, ball-less and timid, naïve’ and/or greedy opponents.

The years 2000-2008 supplied all of those things for the Neo-cons and they exploited them as easily as a conman exploits fools. They told lies so preposterous the less academically, intellectually, gifted swallowed them completely.

When the power structures were all in place, the dream/fantasy, fabricated plans which had been made decades ago to frame one entire nation-the victim nation and sentence it to death while extracting all of its oil royalties, its valuable real estate and other wealth, and slaughtering its people, with impunity, is horrid enough. However, to Bamboozle another, the enabling, attacking nation, formerly a Democracy, into allowing a handful of buffoons, clowns and con-men, who’d misused a nation’s armies for the profit of oil companies, security companies and more, as well as the stealing of the treasuries of both aggressor (The USA) and the victim (Iraq) which was also easily brought about, boggles the mind, as well as the soul.

So easily that any microbe of respect for its political opponents was dissolved, as the Democrats became a historical and worldwide laughing stock. In a world where handful of not so bright, as they are hostile, Organized Criminals, astride two political parties led by buffoonery, serving up mass murder, religious and racial genocide, to a people who less than a half-century ago fought the very same regime; only it was then based in Nazi Germany, leads one to accept that almost anything is possible

Having sold their prevarications, well; their targets must be rich and ever bleeding into the fangs of the vampires bleeding black gold, into the fangs of the vampires.

They would need to regurgitate some of their booty to supporters and use them to the fullest extent possible and reward them beyond the pale, beyond belief and they would also need to create new supporters, millionaires, multi-millionaires, billionaires and multi-billionaires and then they need still to do more. Once they had all of the things above and added their own special contractors, overpaid them by incredibly obese and obscene amounts, they had all the money they would need and the American people, the government, the military and the fools, will have paid for it and will continue to do so ad-infinatum.

They acquired jillions of dollars from their targets, they kept the troops there by having paid terrorists, and perhaps some privately hired criminals, commit atrocities and war crimes disguised as Arabs, so that the troops on the ground would hate them even more. They paid off the oil companies by forcing our fine US military to be, unwittingly, and a captive force, forced them, also without their knowledge, thinking they were acting on orders of national security and importance, to be their hit men, bodyguards, gangsters and gang bangers, by teaching them to hate the targets. They also made mercenary armies out of nothing, from start-up to billion-dollar corporations

They then needed perfect, unspoiled control over the target nation, to kill randomly anyone who they even mildly suspected as dissident, or even to kill anyone at all for no reason than to provoke the target to fight back in order to convince America and others that they have a bitter resurgent enemy and must stay there, to bring peace, while killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.

Now while all of this is going on, their mercenary forces, flush with fabulous wealth, had a further goal-identify through the military, with promises of well paid jobs later, new talent for the mercenary armies, for is it possible that their targets are not merely the Iraqi’s but anyone in the states who is even vaguely dissident? Do you think? Cash is no problem, because it is tax-free cash, unreported cash, sometimes in plain sight, almost like stolen cash, so vast are the profits. Men were paid from duffle bags of cash and carried it away to Swiss banks in their own duffle bags. They were paid in cash from the largest single cash withdrawal from an America bank in history-$2.3 Billion dollars and shipped to Iraq to fund contracts in which mercenaries and other contractors were vastly over-paid.

Seeing how easy this all was made the perpetrators on all sides even bolder. Robberies were common.

“The robbery, of $282 million from the Dar Es Salaam bank, a private financial institution, raised more questions than it answered, and officials were tight-lipped about the crime. The local police said two guards engineered the robbery, but an official at the Interior Ministry said three guards were involved. Both confirmed that the stolen money was in American dollars, not Iraqi dinars. It was unclear why the bank had that much money on hand in dollars, or how the robbers managed to move such a large amount without being detected.”

Such things brought additional wealth to individuals and corporations and investigations never got off the ground. $282,000,000 in US Currency stolen in broad daylight and there were no troops, no guards, no investigations, and fewer questions. Worse, the robbers with the cash simply disappeared. Is Henry Waxman’s Oversight Committee investigating that? Your guess is as good as mine.

No bank carries more than a pittance in cash, and why $282 million American dollars in an Iraqi bank? Why was this bank so weakly guarded? Were the bank executives paid-off or frightened? Did some higher up in the occupation forces or a contractor, put in a mafia call, ”Order $282,000,000 in American cash and no questions asked! Got that?” Where is the money? Is it traceable? Isn’t this unbelievable? Moreover, how did the alleged 3 robbers carry off more than 2 tons of paper money-American dollars in cash, from a bank in a city in which the better part of 175,000 US troops and 50,000 mercenaries were stationed? And finally, didn’t the bank have a telephone with which to call police or the Americans military?

I could go on forever with such headliner questions, but now it is time to look at other factors.

If one has stolen the treasuries of two nations with rival parties looking on slack-jawed, and that same one is brimming with cash upon which no taxes are levied, the goal is to inveigle contractors, perhaps they also unwittingly, to use some of it to buy large sections of land across the USA, especially in Blue States, as potential take over-cells with fortresses on every site. Engage contractors to befriend the local police of every district, sign contracts for training with every police department, and recruit as many as possible as mercenaries, and for favors and support. That done, will/does now perhaps begin the creation of “Terrorist” incidents everywhere in the good old USA?

Is Iraq a training ground-a laboratory, for what will soon happen all over the USA? Assassinations, framings, provocations to violence, kidnappings, disappearance of citizens never to be heard from again and blame it all on Osama Bin Ladin-who may well be a paid associate of the Neo-con system, sharing in the profits. He may yet be used by the same fascist forces and reintroduced under an inveracity, a canard, a prevarication, that Bin Ladin was, all the while, in USA use as an under grounder-a mole in the employ of US government, and so-sorry for misleading you but we had to sell this all to the other terrorists.

Create a Homegrown Terrorist watch system aided and abetted by a National Applications Office (NAO) to spy upon and track down and apprehend American citizens who are opposed to the War Criminal culture coming soon to your local neighborhood in which all law enforcement, will be bent to the will and bought off with the tremendous cash stolen or otherwise misapprehended by the Neo-con Gang bangers and their paid slime-ball punks and allowed by the Nancy Pelosi’s of the nation.

They will seek out and frame or kill, “in the line of duty,” all of those who are not on board with the take-over plan, and be rid of them. A crackdown, provoking rebellion and civil war-bombings in residential neighborhoods, America and Americans in flux, in stress, gunfights in the streets, which make the Wild West, look calm. Infiltrate every city, Village, Town, Burg and roadside hangout, every coffee shop and simply eliminate 50,000,000-70,000,000 dissidents, confiscate their land, money and valuables more cash for the mercenaries and the central holding system of resident evil and America is transformed into an Orwellian, Mein Kampf, nightmare.

This will make the Inquisition, the slaughter and genocide of 15,000,000 American natives between 1960-1910, and the Nazi Holocaust of 40,000,000 and the Stalin, Mao Holocaust of 220,000,000 seem like a romp in the park.

That, ladies and gentlemen is what I believe Cheney and company has planned for you. As I write “Private Securities Companies" are buying up land everywhere, the senate is reviewing the NAO to spy upon you and do you in, and the congress is aiding and abetting them and there is not a damned thing you can do about it, and you know what? This may be God's payback for Americans standing by and watching. For standing by and watching as did the German people while robbery and mayhem did in others, but those others were not them, just as those being persecuted and tortured are not us, so the German people, and we, just went out and bought another useless trinket, wasting our lives shopping for ring-tones, and going along our merry way, taking for granted the bounty of America, and never once realizing that such freedom must be earned by sacrifice and must be worked at, forever.

We are now paying for our parents and grandparents, and yes, when evil was down in our lifetimes and we ignored it. Us and our ancestors, for not having raised a fuss for the annihilation of and stealing of the land from the American Natives, the persecution of blacks in the south and still now in the courts. We are paying for the persecution of OJ Simpson, for Sacco and Vincetti, the Kennedy assassination, the Banana Republic debacle, the Outsourcing of jobs, the persecution of Gays, and many, many, other atrocities including the Iraq debacle.

There is an angel, with nothing better to do than to keep track of the people who run out and buy foolishly, people who do stupid non-prayerful things and waste their resources time and money, ignoring serious matters and playing the flatulent fool right up until death, leaving us to pay their debt to society and to God. While some were busy putting down others, ignoring the plight of those worse off than themselves, those which talk gossip at the dinner table, complaining about Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Robert Downey Jr., Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds and others.

When did these complainers-these judgmental ones, last say their prayers at the table in full view of their children, or at bedtime, praying for the same people they've slandered or even their families? When did they last talk about the things of God at the table before their children? When did they last show gratitude for life? For their blessings?

If we all prayed and made sacrifices more often the things that are happening right now might never have happened. For the edification, of the ignorant, those who were doing the right thing are now suffering for those who did not, because, like the real Jesus-the Christ, (not the one the Christian Right has intentionally misinterpreted, or the one the more stupid among them, merely let others interpret according to their own prejudices), innocent blood is the price of the soul of those who did evil things or just did…nothing.

Back in the material world, the visible one, the happy thought of the day is that it does not matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat, or a Muslim or a Catholic of a Jew to them. That was faux religious fervor. Neither do they care if you are wealthy, or not so wealthy, or rich, they want whatever you have and they no longer need your support, votes or donations-that is penny anti-stuff now. Nor do they give a hill of beans about abortion, or homosexual marriage, or stem-cell research.

That stuff was a part of their pitch to win votes, which they no longer need. They now they could not care less about your desires, hopes, petty grievances, their goal is monitoring you regardless majorities. They fixed two elections and they no longer need your vote. They had absconded with trillions.

The goal always was, is now and ever shall be, complete and utter control-decimation of your rights by destroying Habeas Corpus. The Military Commissions Act of 2006 destroyed nine of the ten rights of humans and the newer Homegrown Domestic Terrorist and Violence Act, which our congress, the Democratically controlled congress passed 409-06, thereby, if it pases the senate knocking out your last remaining segments of the Bill of Rights, I said the Bill of Rights, Habeas Corpus, is gone! That which our forefathers, my grandfather, father and uncles fought for so long ago, your neighbors gave up willingly, with no struggle whatsoever. They did that because they were uniformed, ill-informed, poorly prepared for real life, and, lets call a spade a spade, they were, and some remain, as foolish as it is possible to be.

Now Blackwater, KBR, and all the other mercenaries have loads of cash and weapons out of the space age by virtue of their overly generous contracts and their puppeteers don’t care what your politics are, or how much money you have, or what your beliefs are, or who you voted for. Their goal is to provoke you, kill you, and confiscate your assets under another new law-by a new and waiting in the wings, Secret Executive Order, but one which will never be made public, it just manifests itself in things like the non-response to Katrina, the veto of a health care bill, the veto of a childcare bill, and more. That silent Order, is called, depopulation and it is one of the New World Order's goals-to reduce the population the the Pre-World War Two level, 131 million people. That means to the Bushites that 169 million people must die and soon.

No, it is no longer Liberals against Conservatives. It is annihilation of most of America's citizens. Which citizens? Beginning with blacks, gays, Liberals and the imperfect. Their society wants only healthy people for their fodder, for their standing armies, for their servants and when they tire of them, they will be eliminated as well.

The plan is to keep up a high level of toxicity in food, air and water. This will shorten life spans of the working slave labor class to about 28-38 years, and will thus eliminate the need for advanced health care. There will be little to no health care plans for the vast majority of people; this is also necessary to the Bushites plan to keep life spans low.

The vast majority of medical doctors will be paid well but only at the disposal of the elite. Katrina was a test run for natural disasters in which people were simply left to suffer and die and their homes were never brought back on line. Bodies were cleared and properties were let disintegrate and then bought out at bankruptcy prices by the super wealthy.

This scenario will occur and reoccur until 70%-85% of the properties in America are in the hands of those this administration has enriched. The evil regime comprised of Corporations, fascists, Nazi's and other profiting by the change may well be planning several man-made disasters before the, they hope, never-to-be-held 2008 elections - Blue States first. The same, lame criminal approach as we witnessed in New Orleans, will continue during the Great Depression, which is just beginning. Watch the market fall, as I predicted more than one year ago, the end of 2007 and throughout 2008 and maybe longer, and the land will be bought up at 1930’s prices. What was tied in 1933 by Prescott Bush, what was begun again in the assassination of JFK, RFK, and the Impeachment of Clinton and the fixing of the elections of 200 and 2004, will be completed when they create the final coup, in 2008.

New weaponry like the 120,000-200,000 rounds per minute DREAD weapons system, which uses no gunpowder, and round golf ball shaped steel and aluminum ammunition, can fire in a 360 degree ranges vaporizing anything on the ground. The weapon weighs only 28-38 lbs and will grow lighter as it evolves. Eventually it will fire 1,000,000 rounds per minute wiping put an entire nation’s army in a few minutes. So much for citizen based revolution.

The only people kept healthy, at least until they are of no further value to the elites, are the military, the scientists and the medical staff, but with the weapons systems now in development, they will need little human support.

Be ready if you wish, but be forewarned marching in the streets in protest you will become vaporized under the withering firepower of the DREAD weapons systems and other equally evil-looking weapons.

As to the make-up of the planet; it will be large and impenetrable, gated communities where the Nazis live. These will cover thousands of acres and will be guarded by mercenary armies who will take no prisoners and will shoot and kill anything that moves to with five to ten miles of a elite community. Most of these communities will be well up in the mountains and all will consist of, as do GW Bush’s homes, totally green materials and systems, perfectly purified waters and all green food supplies. You will neither be eating nor drinking from the same source and your drinking water will then cost more than your mortgage payments.

Every remaining town will have as its overseer, a mercenary fortress filled with exotic weaponry. As per 1984, your TV, computer, phones, fax machines and mail will all be public and fully monitored by your local mercenary Lord and his vast army, recruited from among your own children. You won’t understand them, and they won’t understand your politics, or your morality. Most people will not have parents by the time they are ten years old, and none but the elite will have grandparents.

That is what the future holds, and for it you can thank the Democratic Party, and specifically Mrs. Nancy Pelosi and Emanuel Rahm, Donna Brazile, James Carville and the rest of the pack of fools who ran the party into the ground. Their first mistake, leaving the surplus of $5.9 trillion dollars for the Republicans to enrich their friends with. They should have dispersed it to Social Security and Medicare ASAP and never trusted the Grim Reapers/Rapers to touch it. The rest of their inability is legend over the last eight years.

It is beginning to look as though very few people should be allowed into politics upper echelons. I am particularly angry with the contribution of the female gender because I thought they would improve the quality of candidate and strategy. I was wrong although it seemed impossible to make the quality drop, they somehow managed to do just that. If Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, Donna Brazile, Jane Harman and the bevy of beauties the Republicans offered, are the best females can offer, stay the Hell out of politics, stick to knitting cooking and sewing and playing with your dolls.

As far as the males are concerned, that is quite a different story, they have performed like retarded pigs in politics, so I can say to them, stay the Hell out of politics, and you don’t know what you are doing.

That leaves children and animals. Since most children are human, I would rule them out completely, as they grow they will act more like their parents and we can’t have that, so I say give the animals a shot at ruling. I would start with lions and tigers and bears, oh my, and see how it goes from there. Goats might be good also.
