EADS North America completes its board of directors

More "strange feelings" about Airbus...
A big fish in the sky?
380 = 11

Between Dubai and NY only

How about this one being part of grand transportation scheme to cart hundreds of
people off to places far away never to return - they don't have to travel such
distances to achieve it but who knows?
Or maybe it's to transport world's elite while we remain grounded and starving.

EADS is Airbus parent company
European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co - NV
On Bd of Directors sit people ( whole list with explicit details ) with associations
like Hollinger, Halliburton, etc.
At this stage in NWO agenda I doubt super air flights are being designed to promote
mass vacation & travel since we're all supposed to be penniless and destitute anyway -
huddled in tent cities eating GMO foods and
getting sick and dying.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE
A380 flights will be operational from 8th August 2008 on Emirates flight EK 201 from Dubai to New York JFK International Airport (Sunday/Wednesday/Friday) and on Emirates flight EK 202 from New York JFK International Airport to Dubai (Sunday/Wednesday/Friday), with inaugural flights between New York JFK International Airport and Dubai on 1st and 3rd August 2008

EADS North America completes its board of directors

  • Influential EADS North America Board represents continued commitment to meeting U.S. customer requirements

Washington, D.C., September 17, 2003

EADS North America, the U.S. holding company for EADS – the second largest aerospace company in the world – Wednesday announced that its Board of Directors has reached its full complement. The Board is complete with the addition of Rear Admiral Gerald F. Woolever, USCG (Ret.), who was elected this week.

The Board consists of 13 individuals knowledgeable about EADS and the U.S. market, and is led by Chairman of the Board Ralph Crosby and Vice Chairman Manfred von Nordheim. Seven of the Board members also serve full-time roles for EADS or EADS business units, while six hold posts outside of EADS.

The Board of Directors is structured to correspond to all of the sectors in which EADS is active, including defense, homeland security, telecommunications, services, and space. The Board's expertise is broad-based, and matches market requirements with capability and background.

Philippe Camus and Rainer Hertrich, the CEOs of EADS stated: "EADS is committed to providing the most advanced, high-quality products and systems for the U.S. market, and also for assembling the most prominent and respected teams in the industry. We are proud to have such a distinguished group on the EADS North America Board, and view the Board's creation as another step in our long-term commitment to the U.S. market and becoming a valued U.S. corporate citizen."

"When we consolidated EADS's U.S. activities under the EADS North America holding company earlier this year, we made a commitment to assemble an experienced and knowledgeable group of individuals to represent and continually build momentum for EADS in North America," said EADS North America Chairman and CEO Ralph Crosby. "Through a thorough process, we now have delivered on that promise. I am pleased to welcome this group of influential and experienced professionals to the EADS North America Board."

Crosby continued, "EADS North America's strategy is to be a key player in the U.S. aerospace and defense industry over the long term, and this board is an important building block in our strategy. It provides EADS North America with a concentrated, collective experience, including executive know-how, government experience and knowledge of the Defense Department, transatlantic business and political expertise, and an intense strategic knowledge base."

At the last Board of Directors' meeting in May 2003, EADS North America elected General James P. McCarthy, USAF (Ret.) and Admiral T. Joseph Lopez, USN (Ret.) to the Board. Rear Admiral Gerald Woolever, USCG (Ret.), was elected at today's meeting, officially completing the Board.

ACTIVISM (Canada): Get Bill C-517 approved (GE FOOD labelled)

Please circulate widely.
From: "HELKE FERRIE" <helke@sympatico.ca>
Subject: Very, very important!!! Bill C-517

Date: Sat, 12 Apr 2008 10:44:18 -0400

Hi,
Those who know me also know that I very rarely send out an e-mail asking you to join me in an action. Well, this one is important. Very important, even if it is not won this time around! I have just finished editing a book by Health Canada scientists Dr. Shiv Chopra (who stopped bovine growth hormone in Canada in 1999 and in the EU as well). It is entitled Corrupt to the Core - Memoirs of a Health Canada Scientist and is coming out next month. It just went to press. In this book you can read what our government is willing to put into our food supply, public health be damned, to make their corporate buddies happy. (If this interests you, e-mail me for details.)

Just as I sent this out to press, here comes this message about Bill C-517! What a surprise and what an opportunity! If we get GMOs labeled in all foods, we are two thirds at the goal that must be achieved if we don't want to crash the human immune system, namely the total ban of this diabolical technology.

Please take the time to follow the steps and send a short message to your MP whose name and e-mail you get by just clicking onto the provided button and giving your postal code.

Please just DO IT!

Cheers and thanks, Helke

Below is what my husband Dr. Robert Ferrie and I sent to our MP Tilson:

Dear Mr. Tilson,

My wife and I are both deeply involved in medical research concerning the current food contamination crisis involving pesticides, genetically engineered foods, the potential for Mad Cow Disease, carcinogenic hormones in our foods and more.

We are asking you to please vote for this bill. We all have the right to know what we are eating and the right to not eat GE foods. I support mandatory labelling of GE food, which is already practiced in over 40 countries in Europe and elsewhere. From a purely economic perspective it is trade suicide for Canada to maintain a supportive stance of GMO food which does not allow Canadians a choice in what they eat, but does also undermines international trade: our beef and canola are already blackballed and more will follow, especially now that Europe has enacted their REACH treaty.

Bloc Québécois MP Gilles-A. Perron's Bill C-517 would allow implementation of mandatory labelling in Canada. I am asking you to vote in favour of Bill C-517. Please confirm your intention to support this important bill. Should you wish to inform yourself on the scientifically documented health hazards of GMO foods, we refer you to the new book Genetic Routlette by Jeffery M. Smith, Yes! Books, 2008. It contains all the currently known science on the subject in the context of health hazards.

Thank you and please let us know how you vote.

Sincerely, Robert K. Ferrie MD, Helke Ferrie MA.

Bill C-517: Mandatory labelling of GE food:
Your turn to speak out!

By the luck of the Parliamentary draw, a private member's bill supporting mandatory labelling of GE food in Canada was randomly selected for debate in the House of Commons in April.

What You Can Do

It is important that federal MPs vote in favour of Bill C-517 on the second reading. The stakes are high but this time, the bill has a very good chance of becoming law. You have the power to persuade our federal MPs to support this bill and to choose us instead of Monsanto!

Bill C-517, presented by a Bloc Québécois MP, was debated during a second reading on April 3, 2008 . A second hour of parliamentary debate may take place in as early as two weeks, according to the House of Commons calendar. Following this second debate, the House will be called on to vote on Bill C-517 on mandatory GE labelling in Canada.

It is critical that we be able to count on a majority of MPs to vote in favour of Bill C-517.

We have a reasonable chance of winning this vote, but we must get the word out now. Not only will mandatory labelling of GE foods provide you with the information you have a right to, it will also pave the way for a gradual withdrawal of GE foods from the food chain. This will also reduce the dissemination of GE seeds in the environment.

If it is adopted in its second reading, Bill C-517 will be studied by a parliamentary committee and then returned for a third reading in the House of Commons followed by a final vote by Canada's 301 MPs.

In the meantime, there is nothing preventing Canadian provinces, particularly British Columbia, from moving forward and adopting their own laws on mandatory labelling of GE food.

FDA APPROVES VIRAL ADULTERATION OF OUR FOOD SUPPLY

By Byron J. Richards, CCN

August 24, 2006

NewsWithViews.com

On Friday, August 18, 2006, the FDA approved a viral cocktail to be sprayed on foods we eat. This is the first time viruses have been approved for use as food additives. The FDA wants you to believe it will be safe to consume these viruses every day for the rest of your life with no adverse health effects. Not surprisingly, the FDA doesn't want you to know which foods are adulterated in this manner, for fear you may not buy them; thus, no labeling will be required. This is a monumental announcement by the FDA, indicating they are throwing all caution to the wind regarding the safety of our food supply.

Are you willing to stand in line for a virus-laden sandwich? How do you like the idea of buying virus-infested food for your family? The first virally contaminated foods entering our food supply with the blessings of the FDA will be luncheon meat and poultry. Live viruses will be sprayed on foods such as cold cuts, sausages, hot dogs, sliced turkey, and chicken.

At issue is the very real problem of a poor quality FDA-approved food supply that is already full of diseased and sickly animals, many of them imported from other countries. The use of antibiotics during growth and radiation during food processing is required by the fast-food animal farms owned by multi-national companies to cover up the horrendous health of the animals they wish to feed to Americans. Animals in poor health are a friendly place for bacteria to grow and prosper, especially after such meat goes to market. Rather than address the source of the problem, the FDA wants to add another adulteration into our food supply.

The stated goal of the new FDA-approved viruses is to kill a rare bacterium known as Listeria monocytogenes. This bacterium is killed by cooking; however, it poses a problem in meats that are cooked during processing and not cooked again prior to consumption, so it can readily infect foods such as deli meats.

Yes, the FDA plans to use one infectious organism to fight another. The carnage of battle will end up in your digestive tract along with the victorious live viruses, which the FDA assures us will not attack human cells. However, they cannot possibly be certain the viruses will not attack the friendly bacteria that make up the lining of your digestive tract. And they want you to believe this is completely safe while refusing to require the additive viruses to be listed on the food label so that you would have a choice.

Turning Loose the Bacteria-Killing Viruses

The company that produces these biotech viruses is Baltimore-based Intralytix, Inc. The viruses are known as bacteriophages, viruses that kill bacteria, or phages for short. Phages have been around a long time, living as parasites inside many bacteria.

Intralytix uses biotechnology to grow viral phages in a culture with Listeria, in theory teaching the viruses to recognize the bacteria. The FDA-approved cocktail contains six different viruses intended to attack one strain of bacteria.

This concoction is then sprayed on food. If Listeria is present in the food, the bacteria will ingest the viruses. This results in massive viral replication inside the bacteria, until such point as the bacteria simply bursts. This battle results in significant production of bacterial poisons called "endotoxins", as the bacteria tries to defend itself. When the bacteria burst, these endotoxins are released. These, along with the victorious live viruses, will now be on the food that will be eaten.

The FDA and Intralytix would like us to believe that these viruses will only attack the specified bacteria they are intended to kill and will be harmless to humans. I'm sorry to burst their bubble, but they can't possibly guarantee such safety. It is true that the viruses, at least at this time, cannot recognize human cells. However, the virus can potentially recognize normal bacterial cells in the human digestive tract and may be able to adapt to infect one or more of these friendly bacteria.

The FDA Certainly Knows There Are Risks

The FDA had some concerns about the amount of bacterial endotoxin in the Intralytix product before it is sprayed; however, FDA tests apparently showed that the product was adequately purified and so they declared it safe if used as approved. Will the FDA diligently monitor the quality of this product once it is on the market, or will it go the path of many FDA-approved drugs that the agency can't keep track of?

There is certainly a risk that humans will be exposed to excessive amounts of endotoxin. This could come from the manufacturing of the viral cocktail, the interaction of the viruses with bacteria after being sprayed on food, and/or the interaction of the viruses with bacteria in the digestive tract.

The human immune system is highly reactive and sensitive to bacterial endotoxins. They provoke allergy, asthma, autoimmune problems, and elevate cholesterol. They also interfere with the healthy function of cells lining the digestive tract. Researchers have demonstrated that the presence of bacterial endotoxins can start cancer in the colon.

Additionally, the human immune system reacts directly to viral phages. Thus, a person who eats a lot of processed deli meat is certain to evoke an immune reaction to the viruses. What will this reaction be? Allergy? Asthma? Autoimmunity? Cancer? How can the FDA approve a food additive that it knows can induce a variety of human immune responses? Phages are so good at disrupting normal immunity that they are being considered for use as part of organ transplant medicine.

The ingestion of significant amounts of viral phages into the human digestive tract is a wild card full of unknown outcomes. For example, it is certainly possible that these phages, which constantly mutate in order to survive, are likely to find a way to infect bacteria they were not intended to infect. Since phages are parasites, they could hijack the friendly bacteria of the digestive tract and turn them into viral machines, constantly generating viral particles that are likely to confuse the human immune system, if not directly infect the body. We know from history that these viral phages can turn innocuous bacteria into a killer, which is how cholera occurs.

Furthermore, the Listeria bacteria are not going to take the issue lying down. They will develop resistance to the viruses over time, as we have seen with the overuse of antibiotics. Going down this path we are likely to have hundreds of viral food additives in the food we eat, all designed to combat some possible infection coming from poor quality food. Sooner or later we will inadvertently create deadly new super-strains of bacteria and/or parasitically infect the human digestive tract with an untreatable infection.

There is also the very real possibility of unintended viral recombination. What happens when a person with viral stomach flu eats food containing a dose of this viral food additive? It is certainly possible for the genetic material of the flu virus to interact with the genetic material of the viral phages, provoking an undesirable new viral infection.

Let's not forget that the FDA won't tell us which foods in the food supply contain genetically modified organisms (GMO). Seventy percent of the packaged food on grocery shelves already contains GMO adulterated food. These foods have viral promoter genes woven into the DNA of every cell, a technique used to implant a pesticide toxin into every cell of this fake food (see Fight for Your Health, chapter 15). What happens when the viral phages interact with the viral promoter genes in GMO food? What new virus will be encouraged to form?

Keep in mind that the FDA wants to conduct this experiment on our food supply to protect a small minority, only about 2500 people, who are made seriously ill by this infection each year. The ill are mostly pregnant women, elderly with compromised immunity, and small children. It would be a lot more to the point if the FDA would simply warn such people that eating these foods, due to their poor quality of production, may be dangerous. What the FDA should really do is improve the quality of our food supply, the true source of the problem. Why expose millions of Americans to an unproven ingestion of live viruses for the benefit of so few?

The FDA has failed miserably for the past century to protect the public from the adulteration of our food supply by vested interests. This is just one more insult added to a long list of injuries.
