Acivism: Feast or Famine: Meat Production and World Hunger

by Mark Hawthorne

Hanging in the Newseum in Washington, DC, is a photo that is about as heart-rending an image as you’re likely to find anywhere. Taken by Kevin Carter for The New York Times in 1993, the photo depicts a starving Sudanese toddler crumpled on the ground, as if her stick-like legs could no longer bear the weight of her large head and swollen stomach, bloated from the malnourishment disease called kwashiorkor. While that alone is disturbing, what makes the tableau truly haunting is the vulture patiently waiting just a few feet behind the emaciated child. This photograph earned Carter a Pulitzer Prize and epitomized the toll famine is taking on developing countries around the world.

Tragically, of course, hunger has only become an even graver issue in the last 15 years -- a point made clear in a report released July 29 from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Recommending urgent action for long-term relief, the CSIS report calls for “a strategic U.S. approach to the global food crisis.”

“Food crisis,” however, implies some recent, short-term cause and effect, when in fact the “perfect storm” of rising energy costs, grain hoarding, government subsidies, drought and the demand for biofuels diverts attention from an entrenched industry and a remedy neither the CSIS nor many social activists want to contemplate: eliminating meat production.

“Whoa!” you say. “Don’t take away my steaks and cheeseburgers.” Meat-eating is such an ingrained aspect of Western culture that proposing its demise, even to save the world, deserves some discussion. Fair enough.

The United Nations estimates that 854 million people -- nearly 13 percent of the world’s human population -- go hungry every day. And the problem is only getting worse. Josette Sheeran, executive director of the UN’s World Food Program, says, “The world’s misery index is rising.”

So is our hunger for meat. As Gene Baur observes in Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, in 1950, 50,000 farms produced 630 million “meat” chickens in the United States. By 2005, the U.S. had 20,000 fewer farms -- but they were producing 8.7 billion chickens for meat. That’s a lot of chicken feed. In fact, every year industrial animal factories in the U.S. feed 157 million metric tons of legumes, cereal and vegetable protein to livestock, resulting in 28 million metric tons of animal protein for human consumption. Nutritious plant-based food that could feed humans instead goes to feed animals in a very inefficient use of resources.

Jeremy Rifkin, president of the Foundation on Economic Trends in Washington, DC, states it succinctly:
“People go hungry because much of arable land is used to grow feed grain for animals rather than people.” He offers as one example the Ethiopian famine of 1984, which was fueled by the meat industry. “While people starved, Ethiopia was growing linseed cake, cottonseed cake and rapeseed meal for European livestock,”
he says.
“Millions of acres of land in the developing world are used for this purpose. Tragically, 80 percent of the world’s hungry children live in countries with food surpluses which are fed to animals for consumption by the affluent.”

The demand for meat has been especially dramatic in developing countries. “China’s meat consumption is increasing rapidly with income growth and urbanization, and it has more than doubled in the past generation,” says Rosamond Naylor, an associate professor of economics at Stanford University. As a result, land once used to provide grains for humans now provides feed for chickens and pigs.

The USDA and the United Nations state that using an acre of land to raise cattle yields 20 pounds of usable protein. If soybeans were grown instead, that same acre would yield 356 pounds of protein. Animal agriculture also wastes valuable water resources. Population biologists Paul and Anne Ehrlich note that a pound of wheat can be grown with 60 gallons of water, whereas a pound of meat requires 2,500 to 6,000 gallons.

Here’s another way to look at it. According to the aid group Vegfam, a ten-acre farm can support 60 people growing soybeans, 24 people growing wheat, ten people growing corn and only two people producing cattle. Reducing meat production by just ten percent in the U.S. would free enough grain to feed 60 million people, estimates Harvard nutritionist Jean Mayer. Sixty million people -- that’s the population of Great Britain, which, by the way, could support 250 million people on an all-vegetable diet.

Not surprisingly, the meat industry has a beef with these statistics. They say, for example, that the grains and soybeans fed to farmed animals are not of the high quality that humans would expect to eat (tell that to a starving child). Yet it’s difficult to dispute the fact that animal agribusiness uses land and water that could be used to grow plant foods for human consumption.

As Rifkin observes, it is ironic that millions of consumers in developed countries are dying from diseases of affluence such as heart attacks, diabetes and cancer, brought on by eating animal products, while the poor in the Third World are dying of diseases of poverty caused by being denied access to land to grow food grain for their families.

“We are long overdue for a global discussion on how to promote a diversified, high-protein, vegetarian diet for the human race,” says Rifkin, whose book Beyond Beef: The Rise and Fall of the Cattle Culture addresses the moral paradoxes of eating meat.

Are those steaks and cheeseburgers really worth all the lives they take -- human and non-human? It would be naïve to think the world will go vegetarian overnight, or even in a few decades. But looking at Carter’s powerful photograph, I can’t help but believe we have been woefully mistaken in how we treat those with whom we share this planet. If we hope to bequeath a sustainable world to future generations, we’ll have to shake loose this meat-produced disaster and embrace a kinder way of living.

UN summit to prevent mass starvation

Leslie says:

I wonder what good the summit will reallly do apart from wardoff starvation from pot bellied politicians and corperations. I see a side effect not yet mentioned once in anyhting I have read of this plight. The situation created by Monsanto in creating seeds which are viable just once and do not produce viable seed. This will lead to further poverty and starvation as peple can no longer afford the starter seeds. These could be distributed by the storms and end up takin gover crop land which will no longer give the seed and we will be all in the pooper.

World leaders will meet in Rome next week to discuss ways of preventing mass starvation and instability because of soaring food prices.

The summit, which is to be hosted by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, is expected to hear arguments for the establishment of a global food fund and see pledges of food aid from wealthy countries to poor nations to ward off the food shortages.

Leader will also discuss the increased production of biofuels, which is blamed for a reduction in arable land available for food production, as farmers turn to growing crops for fuel. New international guidelines on biofuel production are expected to be discussed.

Britain is expected to argue for aid in the form of fertilisers and seeds to be distributed in time for planting for next season.

"Failure to reach a deal would hit the poorest hard. Literally tens of millions of people will be denied a chance to break out of poverty," Prime Minister Gordon Brown reportedly said last night.

The summit comes as food shortages and send the cost of food soaring sparking unrest in nations such as Haiti, Cameroon, Niger and Egypt, where riots have broken out. Food shortages and the related political instability are seen by some as a more pressing long-term challenges than terrorism.

The food price spike comes as China and India, which have seen unprecedented increases in wealth, display a growing appetite for meat - a food which is more expensive to produce than traditional staples such as rice.

Adding insult to injury: Bush says starving India eats too much

By Kavita Krishnan

May 7, 2008 -- Karl Marx, born on 5 May, 1818, nearly two centuries ago, had in 1867 laid bare the ``intimate connection between the pangs of hunger of the most industrious layers of the working class, and the extravagant consumption, coarse or refined, of the rich, for which capitalist accumulation is the basis'' (Capital Vol. 1, Ch. 25). In May 2008, nearly a century and a half later, as we hear Emperor Bush hold forth on global hunger, we are reminded that capitalism and global wealth remains just as intimately wedded to hunger.

The global policeman Bush, in the time-honoured traditions of the backyard bully, has long harboured the habit of dictating to nations who their friends and enemies should be. Now, he has taken to telling nations how much they should eat, and of wagging a disapproving finger at poor nations whose middle class has made some improvements in its diet.

Bush's sentiments (and those of his lieutenant Condoleezza Rice) reek of callous contempt for the world's poor. They lay bare the fact that the only perspective Bush and US imperialism is capable of is that of the US corporations. In Bush's words, the growing purchasing power of the middle class in the developing world is ``good'' because ``y'know, it's hard to sell products into countries that aren't prosperous'' (see http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/3006775.cms), he said on May 3. But, lamented Bush, ``you start getting wealth, you start demanding better nutrition and better food''. In other words, India's growing appetite was pushing food prices up and causing the rest of the world to go hungry. Unfortunately, the world's people haven't mastered the art of being markets, not mouths: of tightening the belt over their bellies while loosening their purse strings ...

Bush is the head of the nation whose successive governments used its military to ruthlessly batter a long list of Latin American and African countries into being pliant suppliers of cash crops for the US corporations; and in the process devastating the food security of these nations. Major General Smedley Butler has described how, as a US marine, he had been ``a high class muscle-man for Big Business...a gangster for capitalism'' who had helped to make Honduras, Mexico, Haiti, various Central American republics, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic ``safe'' for plunder by US fruit, oil, and sugar corporations and banks in the early twentieth century. Washington's latest exploit has been to ``make Iraq safe'' for US oil corporations, in the process devastating its economy, its infrastructure, and its thriving health and education structures. Now, Bush has the gall to offer in charity what his nation has plundered by military muscle and economic arm-twisting. Like a rapacious wolf dressed up as a kindly and nurturing mother, he describes the US as an ``unbelievably compassionate and generous nation'' and offers to help the poor countries out by ``buying food directly from farmers as opposed to giving people food''. So, the deepest desire of the US corporations –- to have the farmers of developing countries as captive and direct producers for them alone -– is projected by Bush as generosity!

The US today along with a small and exclusive club of ``developed'' countries guzzles a disproportionate share of the world's scarce resources including fuel, paper and food. It is also responsible for a disproportionately high share of global pollution. Although constituting only 5 per cent of the global population, the US emits more carbon dioxide, consumes more paper and other forest products, and produces more municipal waste than any other country. Yet Bush refused to curb carbon emissions in the US, saying ``the American way of life is not negotiable'', and peddling the absurd theory that cows were more responsible for such emissions than cars, and so countries like China and India ought therefore to bear a greater burden of curbing emissions!

Annual per capita foodgrains consumption in the US is over five times that of India, and three times that of China, according to figures released by the US Department of Agriculture for 2007. On average, a US citizen consumes 1046 kg of grain, and around 20 times more meat and fish and 60 times more paper, gasoline and diesel than the average Indian. But in India, since the entry of globalisation, the average per capita consumption of food grain has actually gone down from 177 kg per person to 155 kg per person: which is the same as the hunger levels seen during famine in times of the British Raj. And in India, foodgrains absorption is rising fast for the (mainly urban) middle class, which boosts the national average. A large section of the rural poor are actually reduced to as low as 136 kg per capita per year –- which is the same as that of starvation-hit sub-Saharan Africa. Bush grudges the 350 million-strong Indian middle class its improved diet: he is blithely silent about more than 350 million rural Indians who are below the average food energy intake of sub-Saharan African countries! Studies have shown a long-term tendency towards declining per capita calorie consumption, especially in rural India -– that is, Indians are growing hungrier year after year. Deaths by hunger are an all-too common phenomenon which Indian rulers are united in denying.

And these millions owe their hunger directly to the rural job losses, income decline, land grab, slashed government expenditure on rural development, slashed PDS and increased grain exports -– all of which are policies aggressively promoted by the US-backed IMF-World Bank, and faithfully forced on Indian people by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his predecessors.

Of course, the actual food consumption of the poor Americans is less than the national average. Hunger and homelessness are a growing phenomenon in the US, the world's richest country. According to the US Department of Agriculture, in 2006 more 35 million people lived in food-insecure households, including 13 million children. Adults living in over 12 million households could not eat balanced meals and in more than 7 million families someone had smaller portions or skipped meals. In close to 5 million families, children did not get enough to eat at some point during the year. This hunger at home is all the more horrific when one knows that more than sufficient food grains are grown in the US –- but is fed to cars as ``bio-fuel'' rather than to hungry people!

Bush's bratty and bullying arrogance is really nothing new: we expect nothing better. The real question is why Manmohan Singh, our prime minister, describes a man with such contempt for India and for the poor of the world, as ``India's best friend''? Why insist on continuing with US-dictated policies which favour imperialism and force millions of Indians to live in misery and hunger?

Monsanto profit nearly triples in 1st quarter, boosts outlook, shares jump

ST. LOUIS: Monsanto Co. reported Thursday that its first-quarter earnings nearly tripled because of surprisingly strong herbicide and seed sales in Latin America. It boosted its earnings forecast for the year, sending its shares up by 8.5 percent.

The world's biggest seed company earned $256 million (€173.52 million), or 46 cents per share, during the first fiscal quarter ended Nov. 30 — almost triple its profit of $90 million (€61 million), or 16 cents per share, during the same period last year.

Revenue during the first quarter surged 36 percent to $2.1 billion (€1.42 billion), from $1.54 billion (€1.04 billion) in the prior-year period.

The results beat expectations on Wall Street, where analysts had predicted a profit of 35 cents per share on revenue of $1.87 billion (€1.27 billion), according to a poll by Thomson Financial.

Monsanto's stock rose $9.45 (€6.41), or 8.5 percent, to $120.92 (€81.96) Thursday after rising to a 52-week high of $123 (€83.37) in earlier trading. Its shares have traded as low as $49.10 (€33.28) over the past year.

Unexpectedly strong Latin American sales of the herbicide Roundup caused Monsanto to increase its year-end profit forecast to between $2.50 (€1.69) to $2.60 (€1.76) a share from between $2.20 (€1.49) to $2.40 (€1.63) a share.

Analysts polled by Thomson Financial expect Monsanto to deliver profits of $2.59 (€1.76) per share this year, near the high end of Monsanto's new guidance.

CEO Hugh Grant said he was impressed with the jump in Roundup sales, but the company still plans to reap most of its future profit growth from developing new genetically engineered seeds.

"While we're delighted with the work of the Roundup teams globally, our success in seeds and traits will ultimately determine how we meet our 2008 commitments and our 2012 targets," Grant told analysts during a conference call Thursday morning.

Rising sales of Roundup in Brazil and Argentina mean the herbicide will deliver roughly $1 billion (€0.68 billion) in gross profit by the end of the year, up from the $950 million (€643.94 million) the company estimated just over a month ago, said Chief Financial Officer Terrell Crews.

The company said total seed and genomics sales rose to $836 million (€566.66 million) from $680 million (€460.92 million) in the year-ago quarter. Agricultural sales rose to $1.26 billion (€0.85 billion) from $859 million (€582.25 million) a year ago.

DVD: The Future of Food

Wheat Harvester in Saskatchewan, Canada.

There is a revolution happening in the farm fields and on the dinner tables of America -- a revolution that is transforming the very nature of the food we eat.

THE FUTURE OF FOOD offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade.

From the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada to the fields of Oaxaca, Mexico, this film gives a voice to farmers whose lives and livelihoods have been negatively impacted by this new technology. The health implications, government policies and push towards globalization are all part of the reason why many people are alarmed by the introduction of genetically altered crops into our food supply.

Shot on location in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, THE FUTURE OF FOOD examines the complex web of market and political forces that are changing what we eat as huge multinational corporations seek to control the world's food system. The film also explores alternatives to large-scale industrial agriculture, placing organic and sustainable agriculture as real solutions to the farm crisis today.

Are the rich getting a sweet deal on taxes?

Watch the show RIGHT NOW at: http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/415/index.html

This month, millions of Americans are filing their taxes and hoping for the best, but are rich people actually paying a smaller percentage of taxes than the poor? NOW looks at plans in many states to raise sales taxes and lower property taxes in an effort to generate revenue. But those changes may come at an even bigger price. Anti-poverty advocates say this shift would place the heaviest tax burden on the poorest households - and benefit higher-income Americans. Despite the charge, it’s a model many states have long embraced.

NOW travels to one of these states, Alabama, to document the personal impact of regressive tax policies on three very different families. They include a working mom who shows us how a ten percent sales tax on groceries makes a significant difference in what her family eats; a couple living in a ramshackle house in the backwoods, who’ve always held jobs but still face hunger; and a well-to-do suburban couple who benefit from huge tax breaks.

Are taxes being levied fairly when it comes to the rich and the poor?

Why food prices will go through the roof in coming months

OJ
Posted: 2008-04-07 11:19:35

A deadly fungus, known as Ug99, which kills wheat, has likely spread to Pakistan from Africa, according to reports. If true, that threatens the vital Asian Bread Basket including the Punjab region.

The spread of the deadly virus, stem rust, against which an effective fungicide does not exist, comes as world grain stocks reach the lowest in four decades and government subsidized bio-ethanol production, especially in the USA, Brazil and EU are taking land out of food production at alarming rates. The deadly fungus is being used by Monsanto and the US Government to spread patented GMO seeds.

Stem rust is the worst of three rusts that afflict wheat plants. The fungus grows primarily in the stems, plugging the vascular system so carbohydrates can't get from the leaves to the grain, which shrivels. Ug99 is a race of stem rust that blocks the vascular tissues in cereal grains including wheat, oats and barley. Unlike other rusts that may reduce crop yields, Ug99-infected plants may suffer up to 100 percent loss.

In the 1950s, the last major outbreak destroyed 40 percent of the spring wheat crop in North America. At that time governments started a major effort to breed resistant wheat plants, led by Norman Borlaug of the Rockefeller Foundation. That was the misnamed Green Revolution. The result today is far fewer varieties of wheat that might resist such a new fungus outbreak.

The first strains of Ug99 were detected in 1999 in Uganda. It spread to Kenya by 2001, to Ethiopia by 2003 and to Yemen when the cyclone Gonu spread its spores in 2007. Now the deadly fungus has been found in Iran and according to British scientists may already be as far as Pakistan.

Pakistan and India account for 20 percent of the annual world wheat production. It is possible as the fungus spreads that large movements could take place almost overnight if certain wind conditions prevail at the right time. In 2007, a three-day wind event recorded by Mexicos CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center), had strong wind currents moving from Yemen, where Ug99 is present, across Pakistan and India, going all the way to China. CIMMYT estimates that from two-thirds to three-quarters of the wheat now planted in India and Pakistan are highly susceptible to this new strain of stem rust. One billion people live in this region and they are highly dependent on wheat for their food supply.

These are all areas where the agricultural infrastructure to contain such problems is either extremely weak or non-existent. It threatens to spread into other wheat producing regions of Asia and eventually the entire world if not checked.

FAO world grain forecast

The 2007 World Agriculture Forecast of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome projects an alarming trend in world food supply even in the absence of any devastation from Ug99. The report states, Countries in the non-OECD region are expected to continue to experience a much stronger increase in consumption of agricultural products than countries in the OECD area. This trend is driven by population and, above all, income growth -- underpinned by rural migration to higher income urban areas . . . OECD countries as a group are projected to lose production and export shares in many commodities . . . Growth in the use of agricultural commodities as feedstock to a rapidly increasing biofuel industry is one of the main drivers in the outlook and one of the reasons for international commodity prices to attain a significantly higher plateau over the outlook period than has been reported in the previous reports. [my emphasis -- w.e.]

The FAO warns that the explosive growth in acreage used to grow fuels and not food in the past three years is dramatically changing the outlook for food supply globally and forcing food prices sharply higher for all foods, from cereals to sugar to meat and dairy products. The use of cereals, sugar, oilseeds and vegetable oils to satisfy the needs of a rapidly increasing biofuel industry, is one of the main drivers, most especially the large volumes of maize in the US, wheat and rapeseed in the EU and sugar in Brazil for ethanol and bio-diesel production. This is already causing dramatically higher crop prices, higher feed costs and sharply higher prices for livestock products.

Ironically, the current bio-ethanol industry is being driven by US government subsidies and a scientifically false argument in the EU and USA that bio-ethanol is less harmful to the environment than petroleum fuels and can reduce C02 emissions. The arguments have been demonstrated in every respect to be false. The huge expansion of global acreage now planted to produce biofuels is creating ecological problems and demanding use of far heavier pesticide spraying while use of biofuels in autos releases even deadlier emissions than imagined. The political effect, however, has been a catastrophic shift down in world grain stocks at the same time the EU and USA have enacted policies which drastically cut traditional emergency grain reserves. In short, it is a scenario preprogrammed for catastrophe, one which has been clear to policymakers in the EU and USA for several years. That can only suggest that such a dramatic crisis in global food supply is intentional.

A plan to spread GMO?

One of the consequences of the spread of Ug99 is a campaign by Monsanto Corporation and other major producers of genetically manipulated plant seeds to promote wholesale introduction of GMO wheat varieties said to be resistant to the Ug99 fungus. Biologists at Monsanto and at the various GMO laboratories around the world are working to patent such strains.

Norman Borlaug, the former Rockefeller Foundation head of the Green Revolution, is active in funding the research to develop a fungus resistant variety against Ug99, working with his former center in Mexico, the CIMMYT and ICARDA in Kenya, where the pathogen is now endemic. So far, about 90 percent of the 12,000 lines tested are susceptible to Ug99. That includes all the major wheat cultivars of the Middle East and west Asia. At least 80 percent of the 200 varieties sent from the United States can't cope with infection. The situation is even more dire for Egypt, Iran, and other countries in immediate peril.

Even if a new resistant variety were ready to be released today, it would take two or three years' seed increase in order to have just enough wheat seed for 20 percent of the acres planted to wheat in the world.

Work is also being done by the USDA's Agricultural Research Service (ARS), the same agency which co-developed Monsantos Terminator seed technology. In my book, Seeds of Destruction, I document the insidious role of Borlaug and the Rockefeller Foundation in promoting the misnamed Green Revolution, as well as patents on food seeds to ultimately control food supplies as a potential political lever. The spreading alarm over the Ug99 fungus is being used by Monsanto and other GMO agribusiness companies to demand that the current ban on GMO wheat be lifted to allow spread of GMO patented wheat seeds on the argument they are Ug99 stem rust resistant.

The Directorate-General of Meteorology and Civil Aviation said authentic information about the weather should only be obtained from the official source the Civil Aviation Affairs Department, which publishes its reports through radio, TV and the print media. Civil Aviation Affairs Department offices work 24 hours a day to follow up weather conditions in the Sultanate. Any weather situation that may affect the country would be officially announced.

HEAVY RAINS / FLOODING / LANDSLIDES / UNUSUAL & OUT-OF-SEASON WEATHER -
INDIA - FREAK hailstorm hits harvesting - The UNUSUAL weather has not only impeded harvesting that was expected to pick up momentum this week, but has also damaged crops. It is a bad beginning of the harvesting season for rabi crops, especially wheat the most vital crop vis-a-vis the food security of the country. Raging winds, accompanied by moderate-to-heavy rain in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan have played havoc on crops. Reports from the countryside say Saturdays hailstorm hit different parts of Moga and Muktsar, causing considerable damage to crops. It is not clear yet how widespread the hailstorm was.

U.S. - Flood Season begins UNUSUALLY early across heartland - The flood season in the nation's midsection started early this year, and there's no letup in sight, spurring federal, state and local officials to brace for what looks likely to be an unusually watery spring. At least 16 deaths were linked to heavy flooding across Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma and other states in March; another was tied to flooding Friday in Kentucky. Last week, snow that could set off more flooding blanketed parts of the Midwest. And Kentucky and parts of Arkansas and Missouri that are struggling to recover from previous deluges remained vulnerable to the threat of weekend rain. State and local agencies and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have been ramping up their readiness efforts: stocking up sandbags and other emergency supplies; inspecting levees for groundhog holes and errant trees that can take root and weaken them; and holding regular multi-agency meetings. This year's first flood in Missouri came a month earlier than usual. In the Midwest, flood season started before winter's end as heavy snow alternated with warm weather. "If rain falls on top of snow, the risk of flooding is much greater than any other time of year."

HEAVY SNOW / EXTREME COLD -
PAKISTAN - Six students were killed and four sustained severe injuries when they buried alive in an avalanche while going to Kala Dhaka from Dilbhori. The 10 students of Madrassa Darul Uloom, Islamia Dilbhori were going to their village and were buried at the place of Ghul. Six students were died on the spot while 4 injured students were taken out by the local people. The injured were not shifted to the hospital as roads were closed due to landsliding.

BRITAIN - April snow showers fell across much of the UK yesterday, blanketing parts of the country in unseasonal white and causing chaos on the roads. Much of England gripped by unseasonally cold spring temperatures and heavy snowfalls. There were reports of falls of up to 8cm in large parts of southern England and temperature as low as -2C. The heart of London was also coated in snow, a scene locals described as "BIZARRE" for this time of year. "Normally it only snows in London once every three years or so, and that's in winter. For such snow to fall in London in April it is bizarre."

CANADA - A combination of unpredictable weather and heavy snowfall this past winter is causing monumental headaches for maple syrup producers. Producers in areas around Quebec City and eastern Ontario are digging out pipes buried beneath two metres of snow. Freezing temperatures mean the sap is rock-solid in some places. Quebec accounts for nearly 80 per cent of maple syrup production in the world. But low production in that province combined with growing exports have burned through massive syrup stockpiles amassed during years of bumper yields. The cupboards are now bare. 2007 production was among the worst in 40 years. Producers say they are weeks behind on the 2008 harvest. Ontario producers are similarly snowed under. 90% of production is collected in the last week of March and the first three weeks of April. "What we need is freezing at night and temperatures above zero during the day." The ideal climatic situation is about -5 C at night and about +5 C during the day. "But if there's a big warm-up, it could also mean problems for the producers," as a quick melt darkens syrup and diminishes quality.

EXTREME HEAT / WILDFIRES / DROUGHT / CLIMATE CHANGE-

AUSTRALIA - There has been a jump in the area of New South Wales affected by drought. Latest figures show almost 43% of the state is now in drought, up 3% since February. Farmers are anxiously awaiting decent rain so they can plant winter crops.

ISRAEL - The lack of water, which has hit agriculture in the south of the country particularly hard, is stinging farmers' profits and is liable to force up prices of fresh produce. By next month, what is currently termed 'low rainfall' could turn into a drought year. The lack of rain means a 70-percent decline in wheat yields this year. Wheat is not usually irrigated artificially and depends on rain alone. Nearly 100 million cubic meters have been cut from the allocations of fresh water for agriculture - from 550 million cubic meters to 454 million. Ministry officials cannot predict exactly how the cuts will affect crop yields. "We used about 15 percent of our total allocation in the past several months that we hadn't planned for. In the end we'll have to reduce plantings." Deciding which crops not to plant is no easy matter. One option is to put in crops that require less water, but they are less profitable. Hothouse growing is another option, but while it uses less water it is not suitable for every crop. "Reducing water allocations dramatically in the future, if it comes to that, will change the face of Israeli agriculture." Some propose a reduction in field crops for a period of three or four years. "It could change the color of the land, with large areas that are no longer green."

TURKEY - last year's drought caused YTL 5 billion in agricultural production losses. The drought affected grain production the most and wheat production in Turkey declined by 14 percent and barley production decreased by 23.5 percent. Other agricultural produce did not experience dramatic drops.

SPAIN - After months of low rainfall, parched Catalonia has had to appeal to Madrid for help - and now ecologists fear the costs of a long-term solution. The country is struggling to deal with the worst drought since the Forties: reservoirs stand at 46% of capacity and rainfall over the past 18 months has been 40% below average. Catalonia, in the parched north east, has been worst affected, with reservoirs standing at just a fifth of capacity. The president of the Catalan regional government had hoped that water would be transferred to Catalonia from the river Segre in neighbouring Aragon. But Spanish Prime Minister Jos Luis Rodrguez Zapatero refused. So in an emergency measure, the Catalan regional government is planning to ship in water from one of Spain's driest regions, Almera in the south east, and from Marseille in France. It may bring in more water by train. Spain already has 950 desalination plants which produce 2 million cubic metres of water a day, enough to supply 10 million people. Another is due to open near Barcelona next year. The Socialists claim that the plants will end Spain's almost yearly scramble to stop its reserves drying up. But the Spanish Association for the Technological Treatment of Water says that each desalination plant indirectly produces one million tonnes of CO2 a year and contributes to climate change.

Global warming is making many people anxious. Constant reports about the dangers of climate change add to the burdens already felt by many people and distress farmers. "While it is clear that the wellbeing of many farming communities will be directly affected by more frequent droughts, the mental health impacts of climate change will not be restricted to rural areas. People with depression and anxiety have a low threshold to taking on the negative information about climate change . . . which feeds into a hopelessness about the future." Healthcare professionals need to brace for a wave of climate change mental illness.

Global Bird Flu Breaking News - updated every 10 minutes.

Monsanto already dominates Americas food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. For centuries millennia farmers have saved seeds from season to season: they planted in the spring, harvested in the fall, then reclaimed and cleaned the seeds over the winter for re-planting the next spring. Monsanto has turned this ancient practice on its head. Monsanto developed G.M. seeds that would resist its own herbicide, Roundup, offering farmers a convenient way to spray fields with weed killer without affecting crops. Monsanto then patented the seeds. For nearly all of its history the United States Patent and Trademark Office had refused to grant patents on seeds, viewing them as life-forms with too many variables to be patented. But in 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court turned seeds into widgets, laying the groundwork for a handful of corporations to begin taking control of the worlds food supply. Just as frightening as the corporations tactics ruthless legal battles against small farmers is its decades-long history of toxic contamination. For most of its history Monsanto was a chemical giant, producing some of the most toxic substances ever created, residues from which have left us with some of the most polluted sites on earth. The company now profoundly influences and one day may virtually control what we put on our tables. So far, the company has produced G.M. seeds for soybeans, corn, canola, and cotton. Many more products have been developed or are in the pipeline, including seeds for sugar beets and alfalfa. The company is also seeking to extend its reach into milk production by marketing an artificial growth hormone for cows that increases their output, and it is taking aggressive steps to put those who dont want to use growth hormone at a commercial disadvantage. Even as the company is pushing its G.M. agenda, Monsanto is buying up conventional-seed companies.

Rice prices rose more than 10 per cent on Friday to a fresh all-time high as African countries joined south-east Asian importers in the race to head off social unrest by securing supplies from the handful of exporters still selling the grain in the international market. The rise in prices 50% in two weeks threatens upheaval and has resulted in riots and soldiers overseeing supplies in some emerging countries, where the grain is a staple food for about 3 billion people.

EGYPTIANS angry with the government about high prices set fire to shops and two schools in a Nile Delta textile town after police thwarted plans for a general strike and countrywide protests. Egypt's urban consumer inflation jumped to an 11-month high of 12.1% in the year to February. Higher prices for food have hit the poorest Egyptians hardest. Police fought battles through the streets of Mahalla el-Kubra with the protesters, led by textile workers who tried to go on strike for more pay to compensate for inflation. The demonstrators set ablaze a primary school, a preparatory school and a travel agency, among other shops in the working-class town, and stopped an incoming train by putting blazing tyres on the railway tracks. Police fired rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the protests. About 40 people were injured and hundreds of others had breathing problems from gas inhalation. Protesters threw stones at police, attacked police vehicles and tore down the posters of the ruling party's candidates in Tuesday's local elections.

India has not yet experienced riots over rising food prices that have hit other countries like Zimbabwe or Argentina. But what is worrying everybody is that the current rise in inflation is driven by high food prices. In the capital, Delhi, milk costs 11% more than last year. Edible oil prices have climbed by a whopping 40% over the same period. More crucially, rice prices have risen by 20% and prices of certain lentils by 18%. Rice and lentils comprise the staple diet for many Indians. Roughly one out of four Indians lives on less than $1 a day and three out of four earn $2 or less. All of which is bad news for ruling politicians because the poor in India vote in much larger numbers than the affluent. Per capita output of cereals (wheat and rice) at present is more or less at the level that prevailed in the 1970s. The problem acquires a serious dimension since farming provides livelihood to around 60% of India's 1.1 billion people. The crisis in farms is exemplified by the state of the country's cereal stocks. Six years ago, the stocks were at record levels. Stocks have come down over the past three years because of low production and exports. The problem has been compounded by the fact that whenever India has imported wheat in recent months, world prices of wheat have shot up. Indian farmers are particularly vulnerable since 60% per cent of the country's total cropped area is not irrigated. They are also dependent on the four-month-long monsoon during which period 80% of the year's total rainfall takes place. The crisis in agriculture has been manifest in the growing incidence of farmers taking their own lives. There has never been an acute shortage of food in India, not even during the infamous famine in Bengal in 1943 in which more than 1.5 million people are estimated to have died of starvation. The problem then - and now - is access to food at affordable prices.

Global food crisis "dots"

Of COURSE there are the "usual suspects" running on the google alerts - BLAME it on overpopulation, BLAME it on market manipulation, BLAME it on bad leadership in "developing" nations, but whatever "you" do, don't point any fingers of BLAME on Monsanto!!

No, please NOT THAT!!

Below are some current "dots" on google.

Here are a couple of links I dug up - well I would but my computer gets messed up everytime I try to post on this blog today. So here are JUST the google ones which are good for pinpointing future location crises. But I'll have to do some updating later on food crises and MONSANTO

Anyone That Is Not A Hypnotized Idiot Can Easily See What Is Coming...

It starts out barter but in order to maintain rule enforcement or soldiers you need to get the food since Kings don't have anything to barter with...Gold and silver by decree or whatever anyone wants to trade for...

There wasn't always a monarchy in England...They were invaded and conquested by the Romans and the closest thing to rulers the Early British farming society had were the Druids who kept track of time...The Romans were technologically superior and wiped out the Druids...The Religious system of the Druids was not a GOD fearing one so the Romans had a very hard time of subduing them since the early British did not fear death...

Now you all do and that's how rulers basically maintain control over you all...

It takes decades and centuries to construct a typical food powered make work enterprise as you see it in operation now...

How do you operate debt free? If you are a non farmer then you are in debt to the farmers...If you can't afford to pay that debt then you are going to starve...The top obtains control of the land and food distribution system then money can begin to circulate...

Mr. Farmer you will pay 2 gold coins a year for use of the land...You can obtain a gold coin by exchanging 1 short ton of grain for it from one of the exchange agents...

That's how markets are made by the market makers...

You don't have the foggiest clue...what you are all talking about..Freedom?

What is that? Having your cake and eat it too?

Sorry but you all have not spent enough time eliminating your cherished delusions...

The USA economy began...

In June of 1606, King James I granted a charter to a group of London entrepreneurs, the Virginia Company, to establish a satellite English settlement in the Chesapeake region of North America. By December, 108 settlers sailed from London instructed to settle Virginia...

On May 14, 1607, the Virginia Company explorers landed on Jamestown Island, to establish the Virginia English colony on the banks of the James River 60 miles from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.

Most of you read the Creature From Jekyll Island or similar material and think you have seen the light...

Creature From Jekyll Island is just the tip of an iceburg...And lot of it is just the product of Edward Griffin's imagination...But most of you think it's the Bible...If the top did not want that information in public it would not be...

All the people mentioned in the book are basically dead...When the first book came out that Creature is based on, Secrets of the Federal Reserve, some of the people were still alive and the general population still had a living memory of the events described in the book and were young enough to still have energy to fight back so it was suppressed...

Now you are all as docile as house cats...Sure you can involve yourself in an occasional barroom brawl but actually standing up to the rich? HaHaHa...not a chance...You have become as dependant on the rich as my house cat is on me to sustain its existence...

Like really I'm all for smiting evil and you clowns can talk the talk but certainly can't walk the walk...And I have been part of enough groups that cave in once it comes time to walk the walk...So I'm basically done supporting fools that are their own worst enemies...

Sorry but the best you all are capable of accomplishing lately is going out in a blaze of glory...Like that's your plan?

What are we going to do?

Upset the top and when they send drones to arrest you take as many as you can with you...hahahaha that will show them...

You need a better plan than that and you certainly have to operate in secret...

The top can see you coming long before you are ever going to see them especially when you operate on the Internet which is ultimately an intelligence gathering and social engineering tool the top owns.

Heroic white men? So If all the white men standing around me are delusional idiots I still have to support them?

Enough is enough everyone and everything in the Universe gets what they deserve...

The superior don't cry about being treated as inferior...

It's simple...You look around and if you see massive wealth surrounded by poverty then you know who is the cause...It's obvious who's running the show...

And you all think the rich are going to choose to live without The FED or Commercial banks?

Not a chance...You will give more than you take or take more than give or die...

There will be no sharing...You all don't even know how to share...You all are in search of the best deal...and sharing is considered evil...

So build your castles and fire arrows into your victims when they wake up and realize you ripped them off to fund the construction of your escape from responsibility...

Top sucks from the bottom so I guess once the bottom is sucked to your doorstep you will have to do something then...

Fortunately most of the poor fools getting sucked dry currently to support the delusional lifestyles of the wannabe rich and famous exist 1000's of miles away across oceans so you won't have to worry about them getting sucked to your doorstep.

Compounding interest commercial banks are the manufacturers of the product...

The FEDERAL RESERVE took over and standardized the monetization process...Prior to the FEDERAL RESERVE there were 1600 different Banknotes issued by individual Commercial banks...After there was only one...The FEDERAL RESERVE BankNOTE...

And the Bureau of Engraving and Printing has printed all the banknotes used by the banks since 1877...

The FEDERAL RESERVE has to request the US Treasury for FEDERAL RESERVE BANKNOTES who then has to request the Bureau of Engraving and Printing...

So you go down to the bank and deposit your gold and they give you a certificate, that can't be counterfeited.

Yes it's called a banknote.

Compounding interest commercial banking as you see it in operation today has been around for 600 years...This has been going on for six centuries it's only in the last 60 years that the information on how commercial banks operate has been in the public domain...

And the focus has been on Central banks when the key to the whole economic system is the commercial banks...

The biggest commercial banks support the smaller banks...All the FED is, is a Bank created by the biggest banks to more easily control the little banks...

Anyone can start a bank up...There are more individual commercial banks operating in the USA then anywhere in the world...Canada has four or five Big banks...The USA has something like 8,000 banks...some are not even part of the FEDERAL RESERVE system...

"38 percent of the 8,039 commercial banks in the United States are members of the Federal Reserve System. National banks must be members; state chartered banks may join if they meet certain requirements. The member banks are stockholders of the Reserve Bank in their District and as such are required to hold 3 percent of their capital as stock in their Reserve Bank."

What does the above mean? That 38% of the banks in the system are protected by the FED...If there is a bankrun caused by a deflation of debt the FED can monetize assets so that the banks can meet the demand...

The other 62%? DOA and on their own...They will collapse when the debt inflation turns into debt deflation...reguardless of FDIC coverage...

The US debt/money supply has been inflating its entire existence thanks to your Grandaddy's bank (debt factory)...And it's been hyperinflating for 50 years to support your puke me a river hypocrisy...

I'm getting tired of watching you all swirl the bowl while standing on a huge log screaming that we have not yet began to fight...What a joke...Pathetic...You fell flat on your faces decades ago...And it's game over...You just don't know it yet.

Most of the cash is for use by those lower in the Hierarchy...Those higher in the Hierarchy write checks which is just another form of IOU...

Gold and silver money? A creation of those at the top of the hierarchy to control you...

You will never be free from the consequences of the choices you all make...There is no escape from resolution of the freewill choice...

I have no problem with the top...It's all the mentally retarded drones around me that are a potential Threat...

And will always be...There is no way to deprogram you or unplug you...You have to accomplish that miracle on your own...

It took 20 years to deprogram myself...

And the lies behind the lies are even harder to destroy than the ones in front...

You see the Anti Zionists/Jews basically stuck behind the Iron wall...Some of them have been stuck there for their entire lives...And it's only a mental barrier...

It took me 3 years or so to destroy it...

The Internet is one of the greatest social engineering and Information acquisition tools ever created...

As soon as any of you connected you were known and tracked and are being tracked...and the information is being constantly updated in a file in a central database...

The USA is toast...The FEDERAL RESERVE is going to be wiped out...The two previous central banks that operated in the USA ceased to exist...

The top's goal is to maintain their position in the hierarchy...The top is the top...

And they don't need the FEDERAL RESERVE anymore...The Global system is 314 years old and has reached maximum potential...It's doomed...

None of you are going to escape that...The top has annihilated nations before and the USA is just another nation to annihilate...Actually mass liquidate since it can basically no longer afford to service its continued existence...

The top is based in Europe...The drone population there is not going to turn on their system and destroy it especially once they are shown pictures of the consequences in the USA which they all have been socially engineered to think is bad or evil for decades...

Destroy the USA all you want...That's the plan and that's what you all are doing and will continue doing until it's destroyed...

That's what you are all working to accomplish...day in and day out...

Unfortunately even if you resisted as much as you currently have the potential to...You would put up as much resistance as leaves against the wind in a maelstrom...

You had a chance after WW2...But you were all intoxicated by a victory over an enemy that was created by the enemy...

There is never a lasting victory over lies and the war against truth has no exit strategy and always ends in defeat...The instant you all thought you had achieved victory your defeat was certain and inevitable...

What is the top going to do about me when they know I'm no threat? They will only need to choose to become a threat to me If I choose to become a threat to them...

I'm no threat to the top...I'm a threat to all of your cherished delusions and you will do the top's work for them...It's what absolute capitalist drones are socially engineered to do...

I can at any point stop helping since I don't need any support other than what GOD supplies...I'm just helping...I'm not your slave or the top's slave...I'm as free and powerful as a human being can choose to be...

Most of you are as trapped and powerless as human beings can choose to be...

I already told you what those who employ absolute self indulgent reason believe...

Absolute capitalists believe the needs of the few or one outweigh the needs of the many...

The only need that anyone is obligated to fulfill is the need for truth...

That is all I'm required by the LAW of the Universe to provide to anyone...

Absolute capitalists believe that you can do whatever you want as long as you don't get caught breaking a rule or attempting to break the LAW of the Universe...

Truth is infinite and indestructible so it is the only LAW that can not be broken...

Absolute capitalists also believe that the ends justify the means...

So if your goal is to not be caught (the ends) breaking a rule or attempting to break the LAW of the Universe then lying is the only means to avoid capture or having to take responsibility for your actions...

I as a Responsible capitalist don't choose to be an Absolute capitalist...Or employ Absolute self indulgent reason...

Not because I think it's wrong...Or believe it's wrong...or have faith that it's wrong...

I know it's wrong because in order to choose to operate like an absolute capitalist I have to choose to attempt to break the Law of the Universe...

Truth is GOD and GOD is Truth and truth is infinite and indestructible...There is no way to break the Law of the Universe...

Unless of course you are an animal...Then it's not a problem...Most of you are basically animalistic creatures pretending to be Human beings...That is just one of your cherished delusions that you defend when it is threatened...

Once you know Truth it then becomes impossible to choose to attempt to break the LAW unless your desired ends are evil...Since to choose to attempt to break the LAW is evil and will only produce evil consequences...

All you absolute capitalist drones don't have that problem because you are ignorant of Truth...

Ignorance of truth is the root of all evil...

Unless you are an animal...Then there is no good or evil...You just can gleefully tear each other apart for fun and profit...

Which is what you all do...I don't...

But I popped into existence surrounded by millions and millions and billions of absolute capitalist drones so I do have to be very carful...Since you will certainly attack that which threatens your cherished delusions...That which threatens your colossal hypocrisy...

Truth is GOD and GOD is Truth and Truth is infinite and indestructible...There is never a lasting victory over lies and the war against truth has no exit strategy and always ends in defeat...

Ignorance of truth is the root of all evil...

The instant you all thought or believed or had faith you had achieved victory over lies you then began fighting Truth and your defeat is certain and inevitable...

I have no problem with the top...It's all the mentally retarded drones working for the top around me that are a potential Threat...

And will always be...There is no way to deprogram you or unplug you...You have to accomplish that miracle on your own...There is no way to obtain power over others if you choose to attempt to...

The only goal you can achieve that is not an attempt to break the LAW of the Universe is to obtain power over yourself...

I can help you all but I can't support you all...But my help inevitably becomes a threat to your cherished delusions and it's you all that choose to cherish them...

There is nothing I can do about that...So cry all you want...You have been for 1000's of years and you seem to like it...I don't but as I said I popped into existence surrounded by millions and millions and billions of cry babies...

I can help a crybaby but ultimately crybabies have to choose to stop...

GOD does not collect that which GOD has already...Only Men attempt to collect souls...Those who are attempting to acquire power over others collect souls...GOD has no need to collect that which GOD has infinite and indestructible power over...sorry...

You are wasting your life attempting to break the Law of the Universe...

It's out of my hands...I'm not GOD and didn't make the LAW and can't unmake it...There is no way I can support you...And my ability to help you is finite...

"Absolute capitalists believe the needs of the few or one outweigh the needs of the many..."

The only need that anyone is obligated to fulfill is the need for truth...

What am I doing that you who employ absolute self indulgent reason find unreasonable?

GOD can't be reasoned with...Everyone knows that...

Ok red hot iron I'm going to touch you with my bare hands...So please don't expose me to the wrath of GOD...Ok? It hurts my feelings and that is evil...You are all fighting GOD, I'm not...So far the term Absolute capitalist drone is the best and least hurtful description I can come up with to describe all of you...

I'm not looking down and continually disparaging you as you say because I feel like it...I'm just giving you what you need which is truth and I have no choice but to give you what you need...If you choose to reject it then run and find a lie to believe in or lie to yourself which is what a delusion is...a lie you tell to yourself...

I only have what GOD supplies me with...Truth...If you don't want that then you can search for what you want elsewhere...

That's why I don't have to fear the top or LORDs of the food powered make work enterprise you are all drones in...Because the LORDs are well aware of what truth is...They manufactured all the cherished delusions you all cherish and support and defend when they are threatened...You all fight Truth...

I'm no threat to them...Unless I choose to become a threat...

The Universe is functioning perfectly as It was designed to function...There is no hope, it's fair, and everyone and everything gets what it deserves...

There is nothing I can do about that...So cry all you want...You all have been for 1000's of years and you seem to like it...I don't but as I said I popped into existence surrounded by millions and millions and billions of cry babies...

I can help a crybaby but ultimately crybabies have to choose to stop...

You think that all the stuff that happens that you don't like that affects you is not deserved and all the stuff that happens that you do like that affects you is deserved?

That is a monumental delusion...That sounds like how a child thinks...

No wonder you all have been crying like babies for 1000's years...and trying to manufacture laws when all you can do is create rules...

I walk onto a bus and it fills up and I'm pushed up against another person that hasn't taken a bath in a week...That stench? I'm getting what I deserve...

What do I do? Start bawling like a baby because I'm getting what I don't think I deserve?

The Universe is perfectly fair, Everything in the Universe gets what it deserves and there is no hope...

What exactly is your or anyone's plan to manipulate the Universe so it functions in such a way that your feelings are never going to be hurt?

I grew up and realized that just because something feels good does not mean that it is good...And just because something feels bad does not mean that it is bad...

The top capitalizes on your emotions...

Evil is finite and fragile...Meaning that it always loses even if it takes 10,000 years...Or like the Global food powered make work enterprise...314 years

The system you are in is evil and basically you all are evil...and the system is going to implode...because it's evil...

You all and, just so your feelings aren't hurt, Me and my wife and children are going to get what we deserve reguardless if we think we deserve it or not...

SORRY...SUE GOD For creating a Universe where evil is doomed to defeat...

As I said...

I grew up and realized that just because something feels good does not mean that it is good...And just because something feels bad does not mean that it is bad...

When these food powered make work enterprises start out...They feel good...

They don't begin to feel bad until the end when they are self destructing due to reaching maximum potential...

And you all think you are losing something good...It was a delusional money making scheme...And now the Earth and everything and everyone on it has been ripped off supporting the delusional lifestyles of the wannabe rich and famous and that's it...

The implosion happened and is in progress...debt inflation is slowing...and consumers are basically maxed out...now it's just a waiting game for the miracle...

I'm not running a multi billion dollar social engineering machine blasting you all into a stupor 24/7...I can't compete with that...You either want to invest the effort into figuring out what's going on or just sit back and enjoy being blasted into a stupor 24/7...

What do you want me to do? There is nothing I can do...It's game over...

And the new useless information is...

The beauty of game over is that you are ignorant that it's game over until it's game over and also ignorant that you spent your whole life working towards game over...

And prior to game over you think you are winning...

There will be no wheelbarrels of FRN's to buy bread...There will just be starvation/rationing I'm afraid to say...

The top owns the food distribution network...You all work for food...You all pay the top who then pays the bottom...less than what you paid to the top...when you run short of money you can request a commercial bank to manufacture some more...But you need collateral...your current income which is mostly previously manufactured money or an asset that has been inflated in price by previously created money...

Why when you all basically reach the maximum potential to do this do you think the top has to somehow give you money for free so that you can pay the top so that they can pay you to do nothing?

Are not people losing their jobs and basically ending up on the streets? How come you think that what those people are getting is going to be different when your income ceases to exist?

All of you that have employment in the USA get paid with previously manufactured money and your future income will only exist if consumers request commercial banks to manufacture enough new money to allow it to exist.

It's why wages in the USA are not growing...in 2000 the total money supply was 25 Trillion and since then has grown to 49 Trillion...or 96%

Are you all making 96% more? Wages and Salaries have basically been flat the past eight years...

This is not what hyperinflation looks like...

This is what it looks like prior to an implosion...

Germany in the roaring 20's was a net exporter of raw materials and finished goods...The USA is also a net exporter...The number 1 export of the USA is US consumer debt inflation...

Where do consumers get this product for export? They request commercial banks to manufacture it...

How do dollars come home to roost when you are a net importer of raw materials and finished goods?

The US Government is going to request the Treasury to issue Bonds and then monetize them and send you all emergency implosion prevention checks? So that you all can continue living? And sustain exports of US dollars to the rest of the world?

And the checks will just get bigger and bigger? Or show up quicker and quicker?

Or you all run around chasing helicopters that are dumping money on the ground?

The only speculation is the dates...and now that is over...It's inevitable...Who cares when when the wrath of GOD is going to show up...It's going to when it's going to and nothing is going to stop it...

There are plenty of answers but due to your programing the answers are counter to your cherished delusions and are found to be unreasonable and are rejected...

"You all are not here looking for truth you all are here looking for support for your cherished delusions..."

So you all are basically in search of something you never want to find...

Deflation is unreasonable...That's why the only Lie that has come out of the FEDERAL RESERVE that all you drones believed was the Gospel truth was the Ben Bernanke Magic printing press lie...

Hook line and sinker...You are all mentally retarded Drones...Period end of story...

The USA is game over...

But the beauty of Game over is that you all won't realize it until it's Game over and have no idea that you all have spent your lives working hard towards Game over...

Because you find it Unreasonable...

So you all just keep on slaving until you all basically drop dead...

You all just think positive and ignore the negative until of course it's impossible to...

Then you all flip out like animals and then get slaughtered...Liquidated...

Prior to the liquidation event you all are oblivious...Anyone that is not a hypnotized idiot can easily see what is coming...The logical conclusion of any game is game over...

That's what is coming...Game over of the game all you drones have been playing...

Nothing I can do about it...and all of you absolute capitalistic drones will just hack yourselves to pieces pathetically trying to get back what you all never had to begin with...Freedom...

Right now all you have and have had for 1000's of years is Freedumb...

That is what you all are FREE DUMB FIGHTERS...

Fighting to maintain your Ignorance...So you can continue enjoying your do nothing existence...

When GOLD was money you all had to actually work...Now you all basically do nothing significant to support your existence...

Zero...It's only the inflation of debt that sustains the amount of unfundable liabilities that currently exist...

Stop that and it's liquidation time...

And fortunately it's going to stop since all you drones have basically reached the maximum potential to request the volume of debt required to support your hypocritical existences within the 314 year old global food powered make work enterprise...

So long thanks for showing up to planet Earth...

It's game over right now and you are hypnotized by the soap opera of the food powered make work enterprise, waiting to be eliminated from the payroll...

Actually you are all waiting for the miracle to save your asses...

And will always be...There is no way to deprogram you or unplug you...You have to accomplish that miracle on your own...

Now 20 years ago...This would of course be laughable...

But now game over is very close...So the laughing and game playing is almost over...

The top is who you all work for...The top taught you how to read, write ,do math, think, and employs you.

You are a product...A typical absolute capitalist drone functioning within a technologically advanced iteration of a standard food powered top sucking from the bottom hierarchial make work enterprise...

Which is basically a war machine to fight truth...Its primary function is to defeat GOD and obtain and sustain absolute power over all...

You popped into existence within the enterprise...

I deprogramed myself...You on the other hand cherish the delusion that you are not an absolute capitalistic drone...You find truth to be unreasonable...

So you reject it...That's what you as a product and employee of the enterprise have been designed to do...And when your cherished delusions are threatened you attack that which threatens your cherished delusions...

Period end of story...It's how the top manipulates you since they capitalize on your weaknesses...Your cherished delusions are weaknesses that the top can threaten to herd you in the direction required...Currently you all in the USA are being herded towards self destruction since your usefulness has basically come to an end...

That's basically as simple as it gets...
