The Downfall and Decline of America as a Nation

The most damning indicators of national decline are upon us. We have watched an oligarchy rise to take economic and political power. The top 1 percent of the population has amassed more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined, creating economic disparities unseen since the Depression. Here's the GRIM portrait of what has come to pass.

1. Blog Reaction

Here's an interesting reaction to the effort to remove Pelosi:

Shows there isn't the needed clarity that there's a difference between removing Pelosi in the House; and an impeachment of Cheney involving a Senate trial.

There is some confusion: The decision to remove Pelosi is, in part, conditioned upon whether or not the Senate will or will not convict. This seems like an excuse to do nothing in the House.

2. Caucus of GOP and DNC: Those Who defied Pelosi

Still not hearing a good reason not to continue with the effort to remove Pelosi. At best, hearing excuses, not valid reasons:

The responses on the caucus "realities" have been telling: The arguments are mixing issues; and you can see from this interchange:

3. C&L: Good source of convoluted excuses

Overall, Paul has been very good at raising points which appear to be the "best" excuses to do nothing. Others may wish to see the range of his comments/responses: It appears his points are the best that can be offered to justify inaction in removing Pelosi. The arguments aren't standing up; rather, he's having to use illogical reasoning/flawed arguments to justify inaction. That's a good sign that the Speaker has a problem, and there remains a credible threat she'll eventually be challenged.
