This AM's new The Real John McCain news

John McCain has done enough to shoot himself in the foot now. John McCain has knocked himself out of the race, while the Obamarama festivities continue. Just as news hits of disapproval of John McCain among rank-and-file Republicans... crossing 50 percent... And as the "Clinton Supporters For McCain" movement, is hit by scandal.

Shooting out Obama will take a bit more effort: That will take a bit more time to overcome, but WATCH, that'll happen, too. So little reporting of his AIPAC "gesture" - but us anti-war crowd know.

The $64,000 question: Does John Conyers announce the appointment of a special prosecutor on Olbermann tonight or NOT?

This summer is the LAST CHANCE America has to rebuild .. Best guess: Chuck Hagel serves as interim pResident, as the impeachment proceedings occur ..

I know I'm "preaching to the converted" .. but there ya go.

"At a meeting in his Pentagon office in early 1981, Secretary of the Navy John F. Lehman told Capt. John S. McCain III that he was about to attain his life ambition: becoming an admiral.... Mr. McCain declined the prospect of his first admiral's star to make a run for Congress, saying that he could 'do more good there,' Mr. Lehman recalled." So claimed the New York Times in a front-page article on May 29 this year.

This story is highly improbable for several reasons, not least of all because John McCain himself has always told a very different story about his stalled naval career.

Comment:

Senator Jim Webb had a great comment. He said he can't understand why McCain, who like Webb, had his entire education paid for due to having served in the military, is denying today's military members from receiving the same well-deserved reward.
