From the Mouths of Journalists: The death of Canadian Journalism

In a crowded bar in downtown Vancouver, a group of reporters from the city's main newspaper gathered to decry the conditions in an atmosphere of absolute media domination by CanWest. The demands for both tepid copy and editorial obeisance has stifled investigative journalism and replaced it with puff pieces and press releases.
