Lately there have been an unprecedented number of natural disasters and political upheavals in the United States. The thoughts and beliefs of the majority of Americans have been challenged. Their emotions stand at a precipice teetering back and forth between stability and thoughts of paranoia and dread.
Critical masses of people have awakened to the realization that perhaps it is time to take a long last look at the America we once knew. It is time we understood that the America of the present is no longer the America of the past, and the future, while under the control of madmen, may become far more frightening than we realize.
The United States just barely understands the fragility of its existence.I hope that you have been paying attention to what has happened with both the Hurricane Katrina Disaster and the Hurricane Rita dog and pony show.The corporate media has engineered an interesting story regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). They depicted the agency as being bumbling and inept, a bureaucratic leviathan wrapped up in red tape during the Hurricane Katrina Disaster.
Names have been called and blame has been thrown around, but we are slowly getting back into the norm of watered-down euphemistic jargon on the nightly news, touting the dependability of government and its ability to save us from ourselves.The corporate media and the vacuum of leadership in the United States has not given us any real answers as to why FEMA turned away first responders to the tragedy, why it told Wal-Mart supply trucks to go away, and refused aid from the Red Cross.The only change that has been made as a result is that Michael Brown, the original director of FEMA operations during Katrina, resigned his post. Coast Guard Vice Admiral Thad Allen later replaced him.
FEMA still is in operation even after it went out of its way to refuse help to the dying, the starving and those that were in need of medical help.FEMA's commissionFEMA is still in operation because it did nothing wrong. FEMA was not created to respond to natural disasters. FEMA's true purpose is to maintain continuity of government during and after a national emergency. It also has the power to suspend the Constitution and declare martial law during any crisis-real or perceived.
FEMA has broad powers in every aspect of the nation in times of crisis or emergency and has been called "The Shadow Government."
According to General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA's Civil Security Division in 1993, "FEMA provides a new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis."
FEMA has only spent about six percent of its budget on emergency preparedness. The other 94 percent goes into the building of underground facilities and maintaining areas that are designated as REX 84 detainment camps.In 1984, President Ronald Reagan signed National Security Decision Directive 52, authorizing the mass detention of 400,000 people in the event of "civil unrest" protesting a U.S. invasion of Central America. It was part of a plot, code-named Rex-84 Alpha, created by the National Security Council under the direction of Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North. It called for suspending the Constitution, placing the nation under martial law and canceling the 1984 election.
Rex 84 is short for "Readiness Exercise 1984." It was originally a classified plan by the United States federal government to accommodate the detention of large numbers of American citizens in case of massive civil unrest or national emergency.
FEMA, in association with 34 other federal civil departments and agencies, conducted civil readiness exercises in April, 1984. It was conducted in coordination and simultaneously with a Joint Chiefs exercise, Night Train 84 and Garden Plot, a worldwide military command post exercise including Continental U.S. Forces or CONUS.The drills and operations were based on multi-emergency scenarios operating both abroad and at home. In the combined exercise, Rex-84 Bravo, FEMA and DOD led the other federal agencies and departments, including the CIA, the Secret Service, the Treasury, the FBI, and the Veterans Administration through a gaming exercise to test military assistance in civil defense.
The exercise anticipated civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes that would affect continuity of government and or resource mobilization. To fight subversive activities, there was authorization for the military to implement government ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels, the arrest of certain unidentified segments of the population, and the overturning of the Posse Comitatus Act, an action that makes the military a police force.
During the Iran Contra hearings, Colonel Oliver North was questioned by Texas Democratic Representative Jack Brooks about the REX 84 program. Sen. Daniel Inouye of Hawaii, chair of the hearings, reminded Brooks that it was a classified operation and that the hearings were not the place to discuss it.
There are over 600 FEMA camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive detainees. There are other facilities that can be converted into detainment areas if the military and/or FEMA decide to seize the property for operations.Actions louder than wordsAfter Hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama there were FEMA camps on the ready to receive refugees/detainees to be housed and taken into custody by the government.Many people were told that they were being sent to Houston. However, they ended up in concentration camps thousands of miles from their homes.There were at least 152 evacuees that arrived at the Camp Williams, Utah, Army National Guard training site. Camp Williams occupies 25,000 acres in northcentral Utah, 26 miles south of Salt Lake City. It sits on the west slope of the Traverse Mountains. The area is a virtual no man's land near the Utah State Prison.
Many of the victims of the Katrina disaster were taken aboard military planes and none of the frightened passengers knew where they were being taken. All they knew was that they were landing in a strange place complete with soldiers carrying large guns. Barbed wire and watchtowers surrounded the compound.
This is what it is like living in America with the shadow government setting up business during a crisis. The examples of how FEMA and homeland security are behaving in times of natural disasters are only a prologue to what may be in store for the future.
Who's really in charge?Reuters reported that, when Hurricane Rita headed for Texas, George W. Bush was planning to arrive to oversee the relief efforts and have another heroic photo opportunity. However, a little change in plans took place and the president detoured to Colorado Springs where the U.S. Northern Command is located.
Apparently, the president felt that he "would just be in the way" of the search and rescue teams and decided to be safe and comfortable at the command center.White House spokesman Scott McClellan said that FEMA decided to reposition the search-and-rescue teams from San Antonio closer to where Hurricane Rita was battering Texas and said that they didn't want to slow down that decision in any way. So the president and his entourage made the decision that they would go straight to Colorado.On September 25, 2005, President Bush called on Congress to consider a larger role for U.S. armed forces in responding to natural disasters, as he completed what White House aides called a weekend "fact-finding" mission to determine whether the Pentagon needs more control.
The truth behind this watered-down explanation from the White House is that the president wanted to arrive at U.S. Northern Command to oversee the efforts of a military exercise-a military exercise where military troops are called up to police their fellow American citizens.
Granite ShadowThis exercise was called "Granite Shadow." The military would be mobilized on American soil in order to restore order during a possible terror attack of biological and/or nuclear weapons or during natural disasters such as what has happened with Katrina and Rita.The Washington Post reported that Granite Shadow is yet another new Top Secret and compartmentalized operation related to the military's extra-legal powers regarding the policing of American citizens. It allows for emergency military operations in the United States without civilian supervision or control.
The report outlines the preparations for martial law takeover in the U.S. It is alleged that the Granite Shadow is an unclassified name for a classified contingency plan where deployments of "special mission units" will take place in Washington, D.C. and other domestic areas where a real or perceived crisis is taking place.
These "special mission units" include the so-called Delta Force, SEAL teams, Rangers, and other special units of the Joint Special Operations Command.It is also proposed that Granite Shadow conduct domestic military operations, including intelligence collection and surveillance, unique rules of engagement regarding the use of lethal force, the use of experimental non-lethal weapons, and federal and military control of incident locations that are highly controversial and might border on the illegal.
Standing domestic armyBush is literally asking Congress to consider overturning the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878. The act generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the United States National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or the Congress. Coupled with the Insurrection Act, the powers of the federal government to use the U.S. military for law enforcement are limited."Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a Posse Comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both." ~Sec. 1385. - Use of Army and Air Force as Posse Comitatus.
We also are beginning to see the bigger picture as Granite Shadow seems to have many different provisions, potentially including a shifting of federal responsibility for the management of major natural disasters from the Department of Homeland Security to the nation's top military generals.
We can see that deployment has begun. The disasters have prompted a sense of urgency to test and demonstrate the power of FEMA as the military arm of Homeland Security.
Granite Shadow's full impact is allegedly going to be felt during the winter of 2005-2006, with full command powers and executive orders to be enacted upon by April, 2006.>From these vague rumors we can only speculate that the winter of 2005/2006 is going to be a rough one, considering the impact of the two hurricanes on our economy and on the ability for people to pay for food and heat this winter.
In the aftermath of the hurricanes, supplies of oil and natural gas have been cut down twice in one month and the price of natural gas will probably rise to $20.00 per unit by Christmas 2005. That would be a 700 percent increase since 2002.Medical martial lawAlso, the winter brings with it the cold and flu season. This year's disease scare campaign from the Centers for Disease Control is generating fear for an outbreak of the H5N1 virus (avian flu virus).This news story has been cleverly clouded by the hurricane stories and could very well be the next crisis waiting in the wings. The truth of the matter is that the United States government has been overseeing contingency plans for the next phase of a whole series of disasters, and that is the policing of Americans who may be carriers of a strain of flu.
The Granite Shadow exercise could be seen as a preparation drill for a military response to a possible bird flu pandemic that "experts" say could kill up to 200,000 Americans.
Granite Shadow could also be used to enforce a proposal called the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act. The draft bill has been lingering for some time after the attacks on September 11, 2001. The bill was first recommended as a means to help states protect citizens against bio-terrorist attacks and deal with national defense issues.However, the bill seems to go much further, calling for new police powers all in the name of controlling epidemics of infectious diseases during public health emergencies.Under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, upon the declaration of a "public health emergency," governors and public health officials would be empowered to:
* Force individuals suspected of harboring an "infectious disease" to undergo medical examinations.* Track and share an individual's personal health information, including genetic information.
* Force persons to be vaccinated, treated, or quarantined for infectious diseases. This includes arresting, imprisoning and forcibly examining, vaccinating and medicating you and your children without your consent. The government will not be held liable if these actions result in your death or injury.As with Hurricane Katrina we saw the implementation of REX 84 where evacuees were sent to FEMA camps. If there is a flu pandemic the same procedures would again go into effect. This time the camps would be used for quarantine and as examination facilities.
Literal colonies of sick individuals would be placed in camps far from civilization. The government could mandate that all health care providers report all cases of persons who harbor any illness or health condition that may be caused by an epidemic or an infectious agent and might pose a "substantial risk" to a "significant number of people or cause a long-term disability."Pharmacists would be required to flag or report any unusual demand or any increased prescription rates that may be caused by epidemic diseases.All existing state laws, rules and regulations, including those relating to privacy, medical licensure, and property rights, would be suspended. The government would then have the right to seize your house, car, telephones, computers, food, fuel, clothing, firearms and alcoholic beverages for their own use. Once again, they will not be held liable if these actions result in the destruction of your personal property.
The military, with the blessing of FEMA and Homeland Security, can and will control public and private property during a public health emergency, including pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, nursing homes, other health care facilities and communications devices.
The military would be used as a police force to enforce the state's order, asking for the surrender of any firearms or survival supplies, among other commodities. The state government would then have the right to impose fines and penalties to enforce its orders.
This is all covered with the recent revelation of the Granite Shadow exercise.The Seven RevolutionsThe Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a think tank run by Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski among others, has produced a list of seven trends that will challenge world leaders and cause change until 2025.
Called the "Seven Revolutions," it lists as priorities one and two, population growth and resource management.Listed in full, The Seven Revolutions are:1. Population Control2. Resource Management3. Technology4. Information and Knowledge Flow5. Economic Integration6. Conflict7. Governance"Each of these revolutions," wrote the CSIS, "embodies both promise and peril and it is up to every one of us to determine the trajectory that these revolutionary forces will follow."Editor's note: With Katrina and Rita we have seen FEMA in action and can say with absolute certainty that the agency's actions did not prioritize helping Americans in need of assistance. Quite to the contrary, the displaced masses were rounded up, often at gunpoint, and herded like animals to detainment-type facilities where they were kept under guard and treated like criminals. Controversy brewed Friday over FEMA's reluctance to release information on evacuees, data that some agencies have said could speed up the process of finding children missing since Hurricane Katrina. It was not until the FBI began requesting information that FEMA this month turned over the records, which are protected by privacy laws.

According to The Boomer Project there are more Boomers than any other segment of the population.

Boomers are turning 50 years old at the rate of 10,000 a day and starting in 2006, the first Boomers will start celebrating their 60th birthdays. There is no looking back.

Healthcare: America's Other Pension Problem

On December 20th BusinessWeek Online wrote about America's Other Pension Problem. Companies' financial obligations to retiring workers -- in the form of pensions -- have come into the spotlight recently. And despite concern that the pension plans of many companies suffer from underfunding, Americans can take some comfort in the fact that pension funding is regulated by the government and financial accounting oversight bodies.

But another, lesser-known obligation may pose an even bigger problem for Corporate America -- funding shortfalls for post-retirement health plans. Other post employment benefits (OPEB), as these benefits are known, are receiving greater attention from lawmakers and regulators. On Nov. 10, 2005, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) unanimously voted to add pension and OPEB treatment to its agenda. OPEB obligations consist mostly of medical costs paid to insurance companies (or special accounts for the self-insured) and pharmaceutical outfits for the benefit of retired workers. These benefits may be contractual or implied, and usually require retiree contributions in the form of monthly premiums and direct co-payments for services and products rendered.

Unlike with pensions, which are regulated, companies have no legal requirement to create a trust entity to fund the current or future OPEB costs. Additionally, specific tax treatments and credits set up to encourage pension funding do not exist for OPEB funds. For these reasons many companies have not created trust accounts to fund their OPEB obligations, and those that have done so fund them to significantly lower levels than required under current pension funding rules.

Pensions, while underfunded, have 88.3% of their obligations set aside in pension trusts, compared to 21.7% for OPEB obligations. The result: The underfunded OPEB liability of companies in the S&P 500 is significantly larger than the pension underfunding.

For the 337 companies in the S&P 500 that offer OPEB, only 282 provided sufficient information for estimates. Those 282 had OPEB assets of $82.2 billion and OPEB obligations of $379 billion, resulting in an underfunding balance of $292.2 billion.

A fundamental difference between pensions and OPEB are that pensions have required funding and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. (PBGC) behind them, while OPEB have no such requirement or quasi-government backing.

Another dissimilarity: Over the last two years, additional disclosures for pensions have been added to assist investors in evaluations, while similar disclosure has not been enacted for OPEB. The underfunding of both pensions and OPEB stems from a combination of low interest rates and specific accounting methodologies designed to smooth out market volatility. Pensions and OPEB, like debts, must be paid if a company is to remain credible. Their obligations are imperative in analyzing and evaluating ongoing concerns. The FASB initiative's first step, expected to take about one year, will add the net pension and OPEB status to the balance sheet. The second would actually change the methodology of pensions and OPEB, and that will likely take at least three years.

Local Healthcare Problems The International Herald Tribune is writing about the healthcare retirement time bomb.

Since 1983, the city of Duluth, Minn., has been promising free lifetime health care to all of its retired workers, their spouses and their children up to age 26. No one really knew how much it would cost. Three years ago, the city decided to find out. It took an actuary about three months to identify all the past and current city workers who qualified for the benefits.

She tallied their data by age, sex, previous insurance claims and other factors. Then she estimated how much it would cost to provide free lifetime care to such a group. The total came to about $178 million, or more than double the city's operating budget. And the bill was growing.

Mayor Herb Bergson was more direct. "We can't pay for it," he said in a recent interview. "The city isn't going to function because it's just going to be in the health care business."

Duluth's doleful discovery is about to be repeated across the country. Thousands of government bodies, including states, cities, towns, school districts and water authorities, are in for the same kind of shock in the next year or so. For years, governments have been promising generous medical benefits to millions of schoolteachers, firefighters and other employees when they retire, yet experts say that virtually none of these governments have kept track of the mounting price tag. The usual practice is to budget for health care a year at a time, and to leave the rest for the future.

Off the government balance sheets - out of sight and out of mind - those obligations have been ballooning as health care costs have spiraled and as the baby-boom generation has approached retirement. And now the accounting rulemaker for the public sector, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, says it is time for every government to do what Duluth has done: to come to grips with the total value of its promises, and to report it to their taxpayers and bondholders.

"It's not going to be pretty, and it's not the fault of the workers," said Mayor Bergson, himself a former police officer from Duluth's sister city of Superior, Wis. "The people here who've retired did earn their benefits."

The new accounting rule is to be phased in over three years, with all 50 states and hundreds of large cities and counties required to comply first. Those governments are beginning to do the necessary research to determine the current costs and the future obligations of their longstanding promises to help pay for retirees' health care. Local health plans vary widely and have to be analyzed one by one.

No one is sure what the total will be, only that it will be big. Stephen T. McElhaney, an actuary and principal at Mercer Human Resources, a benefits consulting firm that advises states and local governments, estimated that the national total could be $1 trillion. "This is a huge liability," said Jan Lazar, an independent benefits consultant in Lansing, Mich. "If anybody understands it, they'll freak out."

MAINTAIN ALL HEADS UP: COSMIC QUADRUPLE WHAMMY PERIOD - This current period from now through to about January 20 is without doubt the most dangerous period for major tectonic reactions to the cosmic vectors during the past year, since the rupture of the Indo Trench off the Northern portion of Sumatra on Christmas 2004. So far we have been fortunate.

The New Moon Perigee factor is now waning after having caused only two 7.0 plus quakes in remote zones, a 7.1 in Fiji and a 7.4 in the Mid Atlantic Ridge (which was followed by a major increase in seismic activity in Baja and Alaska). We are fortunate because nondestructive quakes or eruptions hit human populations. But soon the Full Moon factor will come into play and keep this Perihelion period a guessing game.

WHAT IS NOT A GUESSING GAME IS THAT IN THIS PERIHELION PERIOD (which is perfected approximately January 9 after which the Earth begins to move out away further from the Sun) HAS BROUGHT THE INDUCTION OF A MAJOR ANOMALY IN THE EARTH’S WOBBLE, POSSIBLY THE LARGEST ANOMALY WHICH HAS BEEN SEEN IN OVER 100 YEARS.

CONFIRMING LAST’S WEEKS OBSERVATIONS WITH NEW INFORMATION:

A shift in the phase of Chandler's Wobble is most apparent, which will shorten the seven year Chandler's Wobble this time around. As well, a large acceleration in the shift of the average location of the Spin Axis is now "apparent".It is a little too early to define the numbers and magnitudes of this shift, the wobble is untidy and may suddenly begin to move in a way which corrects or cancels out some of the anomaly which is now apparent. If so, this would leave us with MERELY the largest “dent” in the wobble which has been seen since the 1930’s.

But as things look now, the Earth is being subjected to forces which are inducing a rather large PHASE SHIFT in the timing or frequency of the wobble. This shift is huge. Apparently, as of this week, about 10 months early on a 7.1 year baseline. To see this shift, go to the Wobble Tracker plot which I composed today at:

As well, the spiral track for 2005 to present (shown in red) is far too tight, showing a pirouette at least one third the size it should be.

These things can easily be seen by comparing the small inner circle to the right of the current track. That small circle is the X MIN spiral track for 1999. The plot line begins in black with January 1, 1999. That track was anomalous compared to others during the preceding 30 years. The current track for 2005 (and for the first three days in January) is even stranger.

If the track continues along these lines, the total displacement of the spiral for this year will be about .5 arc seconds, some 60 feet, which is about 10 feet per year. This is a rate which is about 4 to 8 times faster than all of the twentieth century.

If the track “repairs” itself by jiggling downward and toward the right to trace out more of an overall circle, the phase shift and displacement will be smaller than the numbers I have given here. I expect some recovery towards a more average size for this X MIN spiral during 2006. But even if so, I also expect that it will not be a normal track and will include a significant phase shift and show a much faster rate of displacement than the previous century. Having said this, it is impossible to guess at the moment how this is grinding out.

Clearly we are confirming Cayce’s predictions on a monthly basis.

The Change In The Earth is accelerating. Clearly another cycle in the shifting of the poles BEGAN IN 1999 OR SO, DEFINITELY BY THE 2000/2001 dates he affirmed. All this arguably increases Edgar Cayce’s rate of confirmed accuracy for the Earth Changes from 84% to about 92%.

One other factoid impression can be abstracted out of the current anomaly. The Spin Axis is falling towards negative numbers on the X axis, which means that the crust of the Earth is bobbing England currently to the South. (My eyes crossed last week and I reported this as correcting to the North). Or, in other words, the Pacific crust is flowing up over the Pole into the Atlantic Hemisphere. It appears to be doing so along a vector which is approximately Longitude East 170 degrees to East 145 degrees. I do not know what this means at the moment.

THIS ANOMALY, SHOWING UP AT PERIHELION, IS NO ACCIDENT. IT IS PART OF THE (HAMLET’S) COSMIC MILL, THE CYCLES SYNCHRONIZING TO GRIND OUT THEIR INEVITABLE CONSEQUENCES.

Everything happening physically on the Earth is incessantly connected to the cosmic forces here, just exactly as the ancients taught.

Most significantly, the alignment of planets is still sufficient to causemajor solar storms and sudden ionic impacts on the Earth through toabout the middle of January.

These past few days we have seen significant shape shifting activity in the Earth with a 7.0 plus quake in the South Sandwich Islands, near the margin of the Antarctic Plate and the Mid Atlantic Rift.

Major quakes could occur in any ofthe usual and historical zones and are still more probable than they have been for at least a year.

Settle in somewhere cozy and warm, avoid travel, but be ready to fleefrom coastal zones or major earthquake destruction at the drop of a hat.

Solar Vortex Planets:

AS STATED IN PREVIOUS WEEKS - Currently Venus is moving into alignment with Earth while Mercury aligns on the other side of the Sun with Pluto. This double-headed alignment will be near perfect on both legs about January 9, 2006. This will bring in a new surge of sunspot and solar activity about January 1-4, during the New Moon Syzygy in Perigee, even as the Earth approaches its Perihelion (closest approach to the Sun during the first week of January). Venus and Earth will as a pair move into alignment with Saturn about January 22 while Mercury is close to an alignment with Neptune (which it will perfect a couple of days later). This most likely will induce even greater solar activity, which will likely surge out from the Sun about mid-January.

Weather: From these alignments we will probably see two major storm waves peaked into extremes by the Sun, the first to hit during the first two weeks of January, the second to hit during the last two weeks of January.Solar Vortex Current Conditions

During the previous rotation a fast stream was encountered on Dec 10th which led to sporadic minor storm conditions Dec 11th; the stream would beexpected to return around Jan 6th. Whilst it is hard to identify alikely source the same was true on earlier rotations so we tentativelyforecast sporadic active conditions towards the end of the week.

Solar activity is expected to remain low to very low with NOAA AR 0841(Catania 89) holding the greatest, albeit small, potential for an isolated event. Old NOAA AR 0834 is due to rotate over the E limb before the end of the week which may increase the background X-ray and 10.7 cmradio fluxes, though it was declining during its previous transit.

SUNSPOT COUNT (BOULDER NASA COUNT) was 39 for January 3, likely to fall for the next 48 hours.

Basically, the series of planetary alignments through to January 24 will keep us all guessing as major storm waves pound added extremes into this winter's worst weather periods.

AS PREVIOUSLY OBSERVED: On January 8, Venus and Earth will align, this also has never failed to produce a spectacular result, but then I said the same thing about Earth Mars. So spin the roulette wheel and find your number that way.

This is virtually on PERIHELION, in fact without looking at an ephemeris, I would say that this IS PERIHELION because the orbital synchronicity of the two planets on this swing MUST mark the Earth's closest approach to the Sun. I wonder how often this synchronicity repeats. Then on January 24, 2006, Earth and Saturn will align, with Venus close into the alignment, with Mercury nearly 180 opposite on the other side of the Sun. I will be very interested and eager to see what this configuration brings. Remember, as we have seen the past few years, the peak sunspot periods should be about 3-10 days in advance of the alignment, sometimes up to 3-5 days afterwards.

Storm fronts are energized in as little as 24 hours but generally the full result in broad storm fronts between continental air masses and marine air vapor flow does not seem to be felt until about 3-5 days later. These then take another 3-5 days to work across the continents.

All in all the Sun is likely to be highly unpredictable during the next 30 days, some additional major spikes in activity are likely to be seen. Thus, we will likely see more than two waves of extremes pour through the Sun and though the weather fronts through to the end of January.

EARTH-MOON VORTEX - QUAKE AND VOLCANIC ACTIVITY LAST SEVEN DAYS

So far, quake activity is apparently about normal in frequency and magnitude, albeit with one extra 7.0 plus quake in the bargain.

AS OF THE MOMENT, WORLD QUAKE ACTIVITY OVER 4.O IS DOMINATED BY QUAKES ON THE WESTERN COASTS OF THE AMERICAS, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE BAJA PENINSULA WHERE A 6.6 QUAKE STRUCK ABOUT EIGHT HOURS AGO.

As well, four minor quakes struck in the New Madrid Fault Zone area in and near Southern Illinois.

Even so summary quake activity numbers for North America are below normal for this period.

These stats downgraded seven volcanoes to restless or to on-alert. This downgrade in the status reports happens at the beginning of every year. Volcanoes which cannot be confirmed for the lists are summarily dropped.There does appear to be some over all diminishment this week as well in the latest reports, esp. in the Northern Arc of the Pacific Rim. Kamchatka and St. Helens all appear to be down. Very little ash of lava is evident except at a half dozen or so “regulars”.

Popo gave out 17 exhalations (explosive puffs) of steam and ash today. Most active zones remain the Carib Plate, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and Kamchatka. All these zones are collision points with the Pacific Ocean Bottom Plate. Expect new eruptions at nearly any time to commence a new season of acceleration in volcanic activity.

AS PREVIOUSLY OBSERVED: The biggest danger period coming up is the New Moon Perigee at Perihelion, from about December 30 through to about mid January. Solar Activity should be intense during this time for the Venus Earth alignment and this "touch" could add impetus to earthquakes as well. Solar flares and CME's can suddenly and briefly impact the Earth with a force which is up to 30 times the gravitational vector of the Moon. This jostle on one continental slab may produce quakes.

All in all, then, the first week in January will be an exceptionally dangerous one on all fronts in the vortex. We have a full-fledged Four Whammy danger period

This period actually has one additional whammy built into it for the Northern Arc of the Pacific Rim of Fire. I cannot explain why, but during a X MIN year when the wobble is as small as it gets during its seven year cycle of expansion and contraction, seismic activity mag 3.0 plus in Japan and California go way up, even doubling overall for the year. This has been seen several times since 1962.

Worldwide, overall quake activity above 3.0 decreases or at least seems to "pause" in its growth curve during the X MIN, but overall volcanic activity increases RADICALLY, which is followed in the next expansionary phase of Chandler's Wobble with an increase in the acceleration of Earthquake activity. This pattern has been seen repeatedly since 1973.

These patterns can be seen ever more clearly in the charts I have updated for the "Return of the Phoenix".

Based on these charts I can predict that 2006 will be the most dangerous earthquake period in California and Japan since 2000, with "big ones" much more probable than during the past several years. This zone of danger will persist all year and into 2007 through at least the Spring. Thereafter the danger will diminish through the next X Wave cycle of Chandler's Wobble.

Volcanic activity is already surging upwards and during 2006 will be more explosive and colorful than in the previous five years. St. Helens is likely to have the major eruption it has been building up towards this past year, along with Popo, Colima, and of course with major flare-ups in the steady erupters, including esp. Etna and Kilauea. If St. Helens erupts, expect it will have company in the Far East in Kamchatka, the Aleutians, the Kuriles, and possibly Japan and the Philippines.

Any volcanic pre-signaling during 2006 should be taken with GRAVE ATTENTION. Often times the flare up of pre-signals lead to nothing, but during the next 18 months they are more probable than at other times to actually lead to increased activity.

Meltdown window: mid-Spring to mid-Fall. Almost all observers agree that the housing bubble is the driver of the current economy and that it is bound to break in 2006. AS OBSERVED LAST WEEK: In Iraq, a new government, thankfully, will form, a national unity move will begin, and by March 2006, the U.S. will be asked to leave rather abruptly so that the Iraqi's can get on with fixing the basic utilities in the country with the help of Iran/Gulf States money. So will the U.S. be out of there in, say, six months? With the Iran play now unfolding it very difficult to predict much of anything....see the next item.

Anomalous Worldwide Tectonic Event

MWM: Re below, this is a highly interesting post, which seems to point to a EXTREMELY deep seismic event, seemingly impossible. I pass it along without verifying this. I am not sure yet if this is real or apparant. The first thing to do is establish the depth and quadrant of this event as described by the vector sum of all points of observation.

The second thing to do is to not get hung up in trying to explain it at the moment. The third thing to do is to not worry about solid vs fluid. Beneath the crust, the Earth is not really in either state. "Surface" conditions and concepts about matter do not apply. It is in a fifth state of matter, extremely compressed cuboid layers (think mica) which mimics all other states and can erupt into plasmas and fluids instantaneously with a drop in pressure. The explanations below, deep quakes or scalar waves, are too early. If it is as deep as suggested, it is not an earthquake but it may be a local field oscillation of the condition of matter somewhere inside the mantle, producing an eletromagnetic or mechanical pressure gradient which impinges into the crust "looking like" a quake wave. Possibly it was a result of a scalar wave function, possibly it is a natural event, possibly both, it is really far too early to even guess.

The thing to keep in mind is that humans have not been looking at the Earth as a unified field until just the past decade. All data and concepts are generally looked at within local frames, not planet frames, thus we have been blind to such patterns. If a new pattern is now being identified by Craig Bryant, we will have to just watch for awhile hoping to find more to "catch the drift".

Anomalous Worldwide Tectonic Event

Several minutes into the year 2006, a worldwide tectonic event occurred that defies what is understood as normal earthquake activity. Sixty-one stations reported seismograms on January first at the USGS real time seismic data website. Of these, fifty-six seismogram displays showed a rapid, single bipolar signal between 00:10:11 and 00:21:00 hours. The range of appearance of this event can be seen in the image at:

Three seismograms are shown in this image. They are CASY (Casey, Antarctica,) LSZ (Lusaka, Zambia,) and PMG (Port Moresby, New Guinea.)

The most commonly observed event, being a small, sharp bipolar pulse, is shown in fig. 1. A more disturbed signal is shown in fig. 2.

In fig. 3, the most dynamic of the seismograms, the signal moves completely off scale at the onset of the event. What is so unusual about these three events is that they are all essentially synchronous. Earthquakes produce what are call body waves, which travel through the interior of the Earth.

These consist of two types, P (primary) waves and S (secondary) waves. In water, P waves travel at 1.45 km/s (3,243 MPH). In sediments, P waves travel up to 5 km/s (11184.68 mph). In granite layers, P waves travel between 5.5-6.4 km/s (12303- 14316 MPH.) S waves travel at about 58% of that of P waves for a given material. The earth's circumference around the poles is 24860 miles.

At the equator, the circumference is slightly larger. Some minor math will tell the reader how long a near surface P wave takes to travel from its source to the antipode point on the other side of the earth via the poles. The diameter of the earth at the equator is 7,926.41 miles, and 7,901 miles through the poles. The P wave of a significant earthquake radiating downward would take less time than a surface wave to arrive at its antipode point on the other side of the Earth. Thus the reader can easily understand the scale of things and calculate the approximate time it takes for the P wave of an earthquake to arrive at a distant location.

Note that at 00:14:30 the event was simultaneous at Yakutsk, Russia - Black Hills, South Dakota - Mudanjiang, China - Kevo, Finland - Albuquerque, New Mexico.

At 0015:50 the event was also simultaneous at Lusaka, Zambia - Riachuelo, Brazil – Matsushiro, Japan - Garni, Armenia.

No ordinary earthquake does this. With a variance of eleven minutes total, the events are far too close in their time of occurrence to be from a near surface source. In order to achieve the arrival times shown in the list above, an event would have to take place deep in the Earth’s mantle, or more likely in the outer or inner core, an area not known for seismic events.

The problem with this concept is that the mantle is believed to be mainly molten lava on which the outer crust is floating. The core is thought to be mostly iron, with the outer core being liquid and the inner being solid. Thus there could be no “earthquake” in these regions unless some massive external magnetic force was applied that could momentarily disturb the position and movement of the liquid iron in the outer core. That might do the trick.

Many of those who are aware of the HAARP network have the concept that this device is an “atmospheric heater” as described by various information and disinformation sources. Some may have the notion that scalar weaponry such as HAARP works by radiating upwards just as in radio communications. This may certainly be true in the case of weather manipulation or mind control, but the antenna devices used by HAARP can radiate in many directions - down included.

Regardless of the source, on the first of January a scalar tectonic weapon left a record for all to view. Of even more ominous portent is the possibility that the devices that caused this event are located in space. While the USGS web page for the time frame in question is long gone and difficult to access by the common person, a PDF file of the complete page for January 1 is available on request for those who are either interested or skeptical.

Friends Don't Let Friends Commit War Crimes

"You're like an ambassador for peace," a Spanish journalist told me as we finished one of the dozens of interviews I gave in Europe. I did this interview right before I went to meet with the Spanish Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.In reality, I did feel like an ambassador for peace as I traveled around Europe for 16 days in December.

The Mayor of London held a reception in honor of our peace efforts at the new and very modern City Hall, near the impressive and intimidating Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Mayor Ken Livingstone has always been an outspoken critic of the Iraq war and the war crimes of Tweedledum and Tweedledee ... Bush and Blair ... the corrupt, yet sadly comical, mis-leaders of two of the most powerful countries on the planet. I believe Bush and Blair are too far gone for redemption. They both need to be removed from their power and tried for their war crimes and betrayals. Until they are removed, the murder and the mayhem will continue.

In Ireland, I met with that country's equivalent of Condi Rice, the dignified Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern. As a matter of fact, he had just met with the "steely" Condi the week before. Incredibly, he accepted assurances from her that the CIA airplanes (up to 60 documented by peace activists) that are landing in Shannon airport are not transporting prisoners for extraordinary rendition ( i.e., torture). That's like accepting a pirate's assurance that he's not going to steal your boat as he's boarding it with a drawn sword!

I tried to impress on Mr. Ahern that the leaders of my government are known pathological liars, and can't be believed on this or anything. The torture planes are landing on Irish soil, so Ireland should inspect them for human rights violations. If Condi and her "husband" George aren't doing anything wrong, they have nothing to be concerned with.Ireland declined to send troops as part of the Coalition of the Killing, but they do allow US planes to re-fuel at Shannon airport (Mr. Ahern: We did it during Vietnam!).

I delivered a stack of petitions to Mr. Ahern of 10,000 signatures from pro-peace, anti-killing citizens of Ireland demanding that their government stop allowing my government to land torture planes and troop transport planes at Shannon airport. My own son, Casey, went through Shannon.

I urged Mr. Ahern to please make the US refuel their planes elsewhere. The occupation of Iraq is illegal by most standards and immoral by all standards. Being accomplices to war crimes makes one culpable for these war crimes. I can say he listened and I believe he genuinely wants to do what's right for Ireland. The people of Ireland need to keep the pressure on their government to act rationally and responsibly in this matter.Scotland is the birth place of impeachment and also the birthplace of both of my great-grandmas. I met with many Scottish MPs who are very anti-war and anti-Bush and anti-Blair. They are doing all they can to end the Scottish involvement in the war.

The First Minister wouldn't meet with me. But my friend, Rose Gentle, has been trying to meet with him since her son, Gordon, was tragically killed in Iraq. When leaders of countries are co-conspirators in lies and corruption and don't even have the courage or integrity to meet with the people whose lives their unpunished felonies have damaged beyond full repair, that is a scandal.The Spanish government is relatively new and they did bring their troops home from Iraq after the old government was kicked out in 2004 because the people of Spain had it with the lies and corruption of their Bushite regime.

The recurring theme when I met with Spanish government officials, including the Vice President of Spain, Manuel Marin, and the deputy foreign minister and heads of some of their parties, was "shared values." We the peoples of both countries need to find common ground on which to stand. We urged the Spanish government to loudly denounce what the US is doing because the US government has no positive, life-affirming values. The US government has negative, life-ruining values such as the use of WMDs and torture as means to satisfy its ends of greed for power and mammon.

The Spanish officials, like the other government officials we met, told me and the other Gold Star Families for Peace members and local peace activists who attended the meetings, that their countries are "great friends and allies of the USA.

"We want friends and allies of the American people, but not of the current regime. The government is not identical with the people, despite what the right-wing hatemongerers say. Indeed, that is fascist notion. Not only do we not need to love our government's policies.

When they are evil, we have a patriotic obligation to oppose them with all our strength. When the Bush administration uses white phosphorous on innocent men, women, children, and babies, when it uses illegal imprisonment and immoral torture on fellow members of the human race, when it invades and occupies another country that is no threat to the USA, we must say No. BushCo is an out of control entity which needs to be reined in by us! The longer the horror of Iraq continues, the more war crimes are committed and the more innocent lives ruined!

During my visit to Europe, I was invited to other countries as a peace emissary. People in Italy and Australia are particularly anxious to have me visit, because their governments are accomplices to BushCo in Iraq. I will be speaking to the European Union Parliament twice in 2006 to urge them to pressure our administration to stop its killing policies in Iraq and try something new: diplomacy and peace. Heads up, Condi: peace is NOT spread by killing and war.

We should have had some serious rain by now but only a little has come in widely scattered areas. I believe that the net effect of Global Warming and La Nina is to reinforce a droughtlike condition in the Northern desert lattitudes (which are almost the same all around the Earth). If this is true, the Southwest will be plagued with continual drought which gets worse and worse, relieved only by El Nino. Likewise, probably, all droughts will worsen around the world in the areas which have been previously smitten The next El Nino could come as early as 2007, almost definitely by 2008 (though El Nino is sometimes very weak or missing altogether, thus the relief may be sparse).

With the work of Dr. S. V. Smelyakov and Y. Karpenko on the Mayan calendar, we may well have the "smoking gun" to prove scientifically that a fundamental energetic change is occurring throughout our entire solar system at this time, fostering a crucial link between the sun, Earth and other planets and their effects on human consciousness.

Since distant ancient times, these prophesied changes have been associated with the culmination of a 25,920-year master cycle known as "precession." In Shift of the Ages, we demonstrate how this cycle can be seen in the long-term activity of the sun as well as the rotation of Earth's axis. We also show how the Mayan calendar cycle, at 5,125 years, is exactly one-fifth of the precession.

John Major Jenkins has demonstrated that on December 21, 2012, the end-date for this cycle, the long-term "precessional" orientation of Earth's axis is perfectly aligned with the center of our galaxy. And now, Smelyakov et al. have added dramatic new evidence to the case in their paper "The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Calendar." The article you are now reading is the first account of this groundbreaking study to be published worldwide, other than the paper itself, which has remained completely obscure to the Internet-based metaphysical culture at large. This is due to its degree of sophistication, making it almost indecipherable to those not educated in physics and mathematics.

Smelyakov's discovery is based on his earlier investigations of the ratio known as "phi" or the Golden Section and how it unifies and correlates the following phenomena:
* fundamental biological phenomena (cellular and physiological rhythms);
* cyclical events in botany (vegetative cycles, etc.);
* cycles in zoology (counts of livestock, number of fishes caught, etc.);
* meteorological (weather) cycles;
* the physics of the movements of the sun and Earth;
* the ebb and flow of human emotion as seen in financial market activities (Kondratiev cycle and others);
* historical events such as wars and population levels;
* cycles of criminal behavior;
* earthquakes and other natural disasters; and
* cycles of sudden variation in Carbon-14 radiation content in tree rings.

Those who have studied sacred geometry or read my books and/or others on the subject are well aware of the importance of the phi ratio, which has a value of 1.6180339. This ratio can be easily seen in the relationships between common "Diatonic" musical frequencies as well as the natural proportions of growing bacteria clusters, plant and animal life, and the human body. When drawn geometrically, phi appears as the classic spiral shape that we so often see on seashells at the beach.

Furthermore, the importance of phi was enshrined in many ancient structures throughout the world. As a ratio, it perfectly balances the forces of expansion and contraction, which can be demonstrated geometrically or mathematically, and its connection to music shows that it is a fundamental characteristic of the behavior of vibration.

Smelyakov and others assert that the vibrations of phi ripple through the very "fabric" of time and space, owing to its innate harmonic characteristics. In The Divine Cosmos, we explain how Russian scientists have determined that what we call "space" is not empty, but rather is filled with an energetic medium that Nikola Tesla suggested "behaves as a liquid to solid bodies, and as a solid to light and heat." The mysteries of the universe, all the way from the "flat" formation of the known universe to the anomalies of galaxy formation, the structure and function of our solar system, and even the world of quantum physics, can all be unified in a single, coherent model once we reintroduce this medium, which the ancient Greeks referred to as "aether." As detailed in our book Convergence III, many other mysteries of consciousness, life and "psychic" phenomena are explained by aether-based models as well, and the above list of phi-related cycles certainly adds to what the research has already determined.

Solar-planetary Synchronism

If we were to vibrate a fluid, we would see wavelengths appear with the simple phi relationship occurring between them. Similarly, the phi relationship can be observed in the cycles of our solar system. It appears that we have "ripples" of energy in our galaxy that we move through in set intervals of time which are based on phi and of which the Mayans were well aware, as we shall see.

Smelyakov has determined that the entire solar system operates in a unified, harmonic fashion that he terms "Solar-planetary Synchronism" (SPS), whose values are all related to each other by the phi ratio. This work allows us to predict the exact orbit of a hypothetical planet "Proserpine" past Pluto at 510.9 years in length, as well as unifying the movements of the Asteroid Belt and the various cycles of solar activity with all other known harmonics (orbits) in the solar system.

Furthermore, as noted, the same cycles can be shown to affect human life and economic trends.

These connections between various celestial and terrestrial cycles are discovered by taking a basic time unit and then expanding or contracting it by various exponential powers of phi, where phi^0 is equal to 1, phi^1 is the classic ratio of 1.6180339, and phi^-1 is .618. Overall, Smelyakov calls the various powers of phi the "Auric series," and assigns this series the letter F. Thus, F is a geometric progression as follows: F = {…phi^-2, phi^-1, phi^0, phi^1, phi^2, …}. This cycle potentially can expand infinitely in either the negative or positive direction.

To see Solar-planetary Synchronism in action, we begin by taking a given cycle in our solar system and assign it to the center of the Auric series at phi^0. An example would be to take one Earth year for this basic cycle. Doing so, we discover that phi^5 is 11.089, which is very close to the established value of 11.07 Earth years for the basic "sunspot cycle." This example shows us that the standard 11-year sunspot cycle is what Smelyakov would call the "fifth phi-harmonic" of Earth's orbit. Obviously, most people would not expect any connection between these two cycles, since the sun and planets are supposedly "separate." In the new model, they are very much integrated by aether. This is but one of many examples that show how our solar system works as a miraculously unified system, but in mainstream physics models that exclude the existence of aether, these connections are left unseen or ignored.

Smelyakov explains that most of the "phi-harmonics" that can be found in the solar system are based either on Earth's orbit of one year or the basic Sunspot cycle of 11.07 years. Either of these cycles can be used as the central point on which to calculate the harmonics of phi. When this is done, Smelyakov states that by taking various powers of phi or various powers of 2 x phi from these "seed" cycles of time, we get "most known basic periods in Nature and society from biology to geology, including economical cycles."

Smelyakov's literally Earth-shaking discovery involving the Mayan calendar cycle was found by a process similar to the above, where a given time cycle with a given start date is divided into "a sequence of intervals [within it that have a] duration decreasing [by phi]." Here it is important to remember that the entire cycle decreases to a certain final moment at the end of the cycle. Even though the phi-based series F can theoretically extend infinitely in either direction, when you are dealing with a series that is exponentially decreasing in duration, the cycle does converge on one end-point, simply representing smaller and smaller intervals of time in that moment. This would be the same as how the central point of the spiral on a seashell is theoretically infinite in its imploding "recursiveness," yet we nevertheless can clearly define the end of the seashell's spiral."

Smelyakov then applied the "Auric series" F to the Mayan calendar cycle. By doing so, the infinitely-converging end-point clustered around December 21, 2012. Thus, we see that the imploding phi cycle has clear effects on celestial objects in interplanetary space and the behavior of lifeforms in time. This might explain why the Mayans stated that "time would collapse" at the end of their calendar cycle. These connections have previously been intuitively suggested and explored by the late Terence McKenna in the "Timewave Zero" model, but there is still controversy over whether his discoveries are scientifically sound. With Smelyakov's additions, any remaining mystery is cleared away and a far more discrete, verifiable model is introduced to support the basic premise of an "imploding cycle" centering around 2012-13. As mentioned, typically Smelyakov would take the value of Earth's orbit at one year or the value of the sunspot cycle at 11.07 years then plug it into the center of the Auric series [phi^0] to locate other cycles. With the Mayan calendar, the same process was performed, except that the total length of the Mayan calendar at 5,125.3661 years was used as the central time unit for the Auric series, and the various "harmonics" of phi, in years, were then calculated. The commonly-agreed start time of August 6-13, 3113 BC was used as the origin of the cycle. Smelyakov found "abrupt world-wide changes" at each of the cycle hit-points that were determined by this system.

The categories Smelyakov correlated to the Auric series are:

* Global natural cataclysms [on Earth] and phenomena in space [supernovas of nearby stars within our own galaxy];
* The coming of great teachers of humanity, as well as outstanding philosophers and scientists;
* The origins of calendars (as systems for measuring time/space);
* Demographic trends (specified by the population of China as an indicator of world trends); and
* The formation and interaction of worldwide religious/philosophical systems and states.

Demographics

In order to give a complete background to his studies of history and show the overall ebb and flow of population levels and cultural centers, Smelyakov focuses on the population [demographic] statistics for China, since there is accurate census data that has remained unbroken for more than 2,000 years. He found that all of the most important demographic changes in China clustered precisely around the "hit points" as specified by the Auric Series of the Mayan calendar. The overall phases of civilization as seen in the Auric cycle include four principle phenomena:

1. Prolonged processes of condensation of centers of civilization;
2. Relatively short periods of founding of new cultures in some of these centers;
3. Violent flourishing and expansion of the new cultures separated from their "parents"; and
4. Rapid and unexpected decay and contraction or disappearance of the "parent" civilizations.

Since these effects are already well established, we can indeed expect a lot of global surprises in socio-political arenas in the next few years. Two "bifurcation points" of extreme change in 2003 and 2008 were established from ''studies of more local cycles of planetary movement as well as the statistically-estimated timing of the most significant population changes in China." There is no doubt that dramatic changes have already come into view since the publication of Smelyakov's work in 1999.

The accuracy of his predictions is further enhanced by the fact that in December, 2000, he correctly pinpointed the September 11 date (within a ten-day window surrounding September 16) as an "extremely dangerous" time for humanity, associated with airplane or other crashes, economic failures, and warfare. Even the nations involved in the problem, including the USA, Israel and Afghanistan, were included in his prediction, which was mentioned in The Mountain Astrologer magazine.

Earthquakes

Smelyakov also demonstrates the correlation between the Auric Time Series of the Mayan calendar and major earthquakes. Prior to the 20th Century, there was no Richter scale for measurement, and the severity of a quake was only indicated by the number of deaths created. The National Earthquake Information Center of Russia has listed the top 21 most destructive earthquakes in the world from 856 AD to present, and all of them occured during one of Smelyakov's cycle hit points. Furthermore, the "imploding" nature of the cycle is seen by the fact that out of a total of 21 earthquakes, fully 9 occurred in the 20th century. This strongly suggests that conventional methods of earthquake prediction and analysis need to be abandoned and a more unified "aetheric" view considered.

Conclusion

Smelyakov et al.'s study shows that the Mayan calendar, properly understood, is not simply a linear cycle of time but a focal point for an exponential "imploding" cycle of time structured on phi. Based on our research, we feel that this cycle delineates our movement through areas of progressively higher aetheric vibration in the galaxy. Each time we move into a new layer where the vibration of the "zero-point energy" medium of space increases, there are direct, dramatic physical effects."Smelyakov et al.'s study shows that the Mayan calendar, properly understood, is not simply a linear cycle of time but a focal point for an exponential 'imploding' cycle of time structured on phi. Based on our research, we feel that this cycle delineates our movement through areas of progressively higher aetheric vibration in the galaxy."This cycle has directly caused the last three geomagnetic pole inversions on Earth, a reliable succession of extremely powerful earthquakes, and supernova explosions in nearby areas of our own galaxy. Almost every religious teaching in the world originated during one of the cycle points, including those of Krishna, Vyasa, Zoroaster, Gautama Buddha, Fu-Si, Lao-tzu, Confucius, Pythagoras, Plato, and Christ. Practically all known ancient civilizations created calendars during these times as well, including China, India, Iran, Babylon, Egypt, and Maya. And now with the aether theories of Dr. Aleskey Dmitriev, we have also seen how the entire solar system is showing signs of an ever-increasing energetic charge.

It is utterly remarkable that the Maya should be able to encode this cycle so clearly into their calendar, with its connections not only to the linear phenomenon of precession but to an exponential phenomenon based on phi that has such clear energetic effects on both the material plane and the arena of consciousness. It is even more remarkable that this cycle should ratchet forward with ever-increasing intensity into the moment wherein Earth's precessional position is in perfect alignment with Galactic Center. The mysteries of how and why all these cycles relate are described in our final book, The Divine Cosmos.

By combining the effects of geo-cosmic change with the overall flourishing of humanity in the cultural and spiritual sense, we see that as the cycle continues to exponentially accelerate its energetic rate of vibration into the 2012-13 "singularity," we can expect ever more rapid increases in human awareness, leading up to a discontinuous mega-event where "time and space collapse" as we know it. We believe that there is no reason to fear this change, as what we are moving towards is a literal shift in the basic characteristics of matter, energy, and consciousness.

In an article entitled "A Scientific Blueprint for Ascension," we have demonstrated a connection between these energetic changes and the evolution of life on Earth. All of us are being given an opportunity to experience a collective initiation, as Gregg Braden would say, wherein we have the choice to move out of fear and into trust that the prophecies given to us are indeed accurate. These prophecies include the words of Jesus of Nazareth, who in John 14:12 said, "As I do these things, so shall ye do them, and greater things."

"Ah!" said Tsech'i, "this tree is really good for nothing, and that is how it has attained this size.

A certain carpenter Shih was travelling to the Ch'i State. On reaching Shady Circle, he saw a sacred li tree in the temple to the God of Earth. It was so large that its shade could cover a herd of several thousand cattle. It was a hundred spans in girth, towering up eighty feet over the hilltop, before it branched out. A dozen boats could be cut out of it. Crowds stood gazing at it, but the carpenter took no notice, and went on his way without evencasting a look behind.

His apprentice however took a good look at it, andwhen he caught up with his master, said, "Ever since I have handled an adzein your service, I have never seen such a splendid piece of timber. How wasit that you, Master, did not care to stop and look at it?"

"Forget about it. It's not worth talking about," replied his master. "It's good for nothing. Made into a boat, it would sink; into a coffin, it would rot; into furniture, it would break easily; into a door, it would sweat; into a pillar, it would be worm-eaten. It is wood of no quality, and of no use. That is why it has attained its present age."


When the carpenter reached home, he dreamt that the spirit of the tree appeared to him in his sleep and spoke to him as follows: "What is it you intend to compare me with? Is it with fine-grained wood? Look at the cherry-apple, the pear, the orange, the pumelo, and other fruit bearers? As soon as their fruit ripens they are stripped and treated with indignity. The great boughs are snapped off, the small ones scattered abroad. Thus do these trees by their own value injure their own lives. They cannot fulfil their allotted span of years, but perish prematurely because they destroy themselves for the (admiration of) the world. Thus it is with all things.

Moreover, I tried for a long period to be useless. Many times I was in danger of being cut down, but at length I have succeeded, and so have become exceedingly useful to myself. Had I indeed been of use, I should not be ableto grow to this height. Moreover, you and I are both created things. Have done then with this criticism of each other. Is a good-for-nothing fellow in imminent danger of death a fit person to talk of a good-for-nothing tree?"

In the State of Sung there is a land belonging to the Chings, where thrive the catalpa, the cedar, and the mulberry. Such as are of one span or so in girth are cut down for monkey cages. Those of two or three spans are cut down for the beams of fine houses. Those of seven or eight spans are cut down for the solid (unjointed) sides of rich men's coffins. Thus they do notfulfil their allotted span of years, but perish young beneath the axe. Such is the misfortune which overtakes worth. For the sacrifices to the River God, neither bulls with white foreheads, nor pigs with high snouts, nor men suffering from piles, can be used. This is known to all the soothsayers, for these are regarded as inauspicious. The wise, however, would regard them as extremely auspicious (to themselves).

The Keepers of the Water

Dear humans,

We are the cetaceans. Just as you are the Keepers of the Land, we are the Keepers of the Water. We have come to speak with you as we wish to work together with you so that the land and water can resolve their disagreements. As you may know, the weather is created by the collective, thoughts, land, and emotions, water. Whenever your thoughts and emotions are in conflict, it is reflected not only in your personal life but, also, in Gaia’s weather.

There is much fear on our planet at this time, and we, the cetaceans, have fear also. Day by day we see more and more our ocean world dying. We know that you are seeing your landed area suffering the same fate. Our dear planet, Gaia, is going through the “narrows” now, which means that She is finding the place “in-between” the polarities of the third dimension, “in-between” the good and evil, “in-between” love and fear, and “in-between” the reality that She has been and the reality that She is becoming.

As you know, we the guardians of Earth’s water and land have also begun our journey of “in-between.” This is partially why “in-between” the land and water has suffered such damage in the last year. The scientific reasons for the weather extremes are, of course, also correct. However, the scientists are only speaking from the third dimensional perspective. We are asking you to take a moment of your life to look at this process from the fifth dimensional perspective.

We, the cetaceans, can more easily take the fifth dimensional viewpoint because we are more in touch with our multidimensional heritage. We are still able to remember, in fact we never forgot, our fifth/sixth dimensional SELF on Sirius A. We remember when we lived on Earth before the days of Atlantis. We were there when Atlantis fell into the sea, so we are very familiar with the disagreement between land and sea.

We decided that we would not adopt the humanoid form for this grand cycle from Leo Constellation Photon Belt to Aquarius Constellation Photon Belt. We decided to, instead, be sea creatures for this round. We hoped that in doing so, we could form a partnership of land and sea that would assist the planet during its entrance into the Aquarius end of the Photon Belt.
The “time” of this entrance is NOW. We are “in-between” the reality of “outside the Belt” and “inside the Belt.” The problem is, just as humans have long suffered a conflict between their thoughts and emotions, and just as humans have been overwhelmed by the fear in Gaia’s aura, so have we. However, trying not to sound arrogant, we must say that our fear is not as strong, nor as toxic, as the fear of humanity.

We believe that this is largely because we KNOW that we can trust those of our own species. Similar to every other member of this planet, we have endured the many violations of rights and torments of humanity. But, for the most part, we have always felt safe with our own species. We believe that it is this lack of safety with your own species that has created the great fears of humanity.

We will not tell you that the times ahead will be easy, although, there are many ways to make them easier. One of these ways is to find co-operation with the many species of our dear Mother Gaia’s land and water. All the Kingdoms of Earth, Mineral, Plant, Animal, and even the Kingdom of Faerie in the fourth dimension, are on the verge of great transformation. Hence, it is vital that we all work in unity and mutual respect to assist each other in this process.
Humanity, in its great journey from tribal, group consciousness to the extreme of today’s individual consciousness, has done great damage to itself and to the other kingdoms. We plead now, not just for ourselves, but for the rest of the inhabitants of earth, that you humans find a way to rise above your fear and conflict and find a way to live in love.

In this very moment the conflict between the polarities of good/evil, love/fear, life/death, and land/water rages on. We implore you, dear Keepers of the Land to find the balance, the center point, the place “in-between” these polarities. It is from this center point that you ride the wave of Unconditional Love into the Detached Compassion of your fifth/sixth dimensional SELF. In this manner, you can calm your emotions of fear, anger and sorrow, which combined with your destructive thoughts, judgments and accusations, creates greater and greater weather extremes. Once your emotions are calmed, and you have returned to your natural state of love, your thoughts can be constructive, positive and compassionate.

Remember, dear Keepers of the Land, YOU are the weather. YOU are the reality that you have created. We mourn the loss of the many who died and the beauty of the land destroyed. Do you mourn, as well, the loss of our pure waters and our many water inhabitants who died? Can we learn to cooperate, land and water, thoughts and emotions, humans and animals? The Animal and Plant Kingdoms are transforming just as are many humans. The domination of humanity must now transform into the cooperation of humanity with all the other species of Gaia’s body. Additionally, humanity must also learn to cooperate with humanity.

We, the cetaceans, well know the difference between the humans who have sought to murder us and the humans who have sought to protect us. What we are saying now is that humans also need our protection. Just like you, we are highly evolved beings. In fact, many of you have fifth/sixth dimensional portions of your Self living on Sirius A, just as we do. Therefore, we should join forces for the good of all. If we, the most evolved beings on Earth, could work together, imagine how much easier we could make our transition!

This inter-species cooperation, however, must begin with the cooperation of your thoughts and emotions. We understand how difficult it must be for you awakened humans to have compassion for the members of your species who still live by greed, selfishness and “power over” others. We, too, have suffered greatly at their hand. The experiment of third dimensional humanity has been a great victory, as well as a terrible mistake. The Higher SELVES of both our species look upon this adventure with mixed reviews. Much was learned, yet much was lost.
It is “time” now for all of us to find the center point “in-between” learning and losing to discover the neutral point of Detached Compassion. Monitor your every thought to release all judgment and negativity. Constantly listen to the Inner Voice of your Soul/SELF to regain and maintain the mental state of Detached Compassion. Continuously be aware of your every emotion, so that you can release all fear, anger and sorrow to find the center point of Unconditional Love.
Gaia and ALL of Her in habitants are going through the “narrows” that are in-between the polarities of our 3D reality so that we locate the Center Path. We are like mountain climbers climbing between two huge rocks who must reach up to find a strong point to which we can attach our “safety cord.” This point of strength is not only “above,” it is also “in-between” the extremes of polarities, as well as “in-between” the reality that we are leaving and the reality that we are becoming.

Not all humans have awakened to their responsibility as Keepers of the Land, and not all cetaceans have awakened to their responsibility as Keepers of the Water. Because of this, it is up to those who have awakened to carry the responsibility for all of their species. The few have always led the many, but the many must be willing to follow. What is important in this instance is that the leading must be with love and the following must be of free choice.

Where we are going can only be found with Unconditional Love and Detached Compassion, as well as the Unity of Purpose that can only be attained by Planetary Consciousness. We who are awakened have to embrace the responsibility that accompanies our power-within in order to be the “safe point” to which others can attach their “safety cord.” In this manner, we can set a shining example for others.

Dear humans, imagine what a celebration it will be when we, the Keepers of the Water, join in cooperation and Unconditional Love with you, the Keepers of the Land. In this joining, we could more easily find and travel the Center Path into our New Earth—Star Gaia. We, the Keepers of the Water—the Cetaceans, wish to join you in this celebration.
