I'm sorry but I strongly disagree with your statement.

First of all, go back and Google this Bourgas-Alexandroupolis project. What do you find? In probably 95+% of the cases, the article is quoting the PERCEPTION of a Greek government official about a meeting he has had with a Russia, Kazakh, or Azeri counterpart. You should be VERY SUSPICIOUS that you can rarely find a Russian, Kazakh, or Azeri senior politician talking CONSISTENTLY about how wonderful the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis project is.

The Greeks are masters at PR -- but not with oil pipelines -- make no mistake.

Want more information? Do your own research, check out the water depth levels in and around Alexandroupolis Harbor (which is a fishing and tourism port -- certainly not one for crude oil) and then check the required water depth for the Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) it says it can bring in there and see if the two numbers match. Also check the required turning radius (for turning the tanker around in order to change direction) of a Very Large Crude Carrier and see how many islands and sand barges it would hit in the process.

The only possible conclusion? The project is not viable commercially.

I rest my case.
