Trademark of the Psychopath

The use of an inner, or esoteric, language to intentionally deceive is a trademark characteristic of the psychopathic personality or psychopathically dominated group. This is nicely summarized in Andrew M. Lobaczewski’s Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes (1998) [1]:

“An ideology of a secondarily ponerogenic association [secondary stage of infiltration by psychopathic individuals] is formed by gradual adaptation of the primary ideology to functions and goals other than the original formative ones. A certain kind of layering or schizophrenia of ideology takes place during the ponerization process. The outer layer closest to the original content is used for the group’s propaganda purposes, especially regarding the outside world, although it can in part also be used inside with regard to disbelieving lower-echelon members. The second layer presents the elite with no problems of comprehension: it is more hermetic, generally composed by slipping a different meaning into the same names. Since identical names signify different contents depending on the layer in question, understanding this “doubletalk” requires simultaneous fluency in both languages.

Average people succumb to the first layer’s suggestive insinuations for a long time before they learn to understand the second one as well. Anyone with certain psychological deviations, especially if he is wearing the mask of normality with which we are familiar [a psychopath], immediately perceives the second layer to be attractive and significant; after all, it was built by people like him. Comprehending this doubletalk is therefore a vexatious task, provoking quite understandable psychological resistance; this very duality of language, however, is a pathognomonic [specific characteristics of a disease] symptom indicating that the human union in question is touched by the ponerogenic process to an advanced degree.” - 116

Let us take a look at a group that continually redefines words in an attempt to deceive, namely The Club of Rome.

The Club of Rome is a premiere think tank composed of approximately 100 members including leading scientists, philosophers, political advisors, former politicians and many other influential bureaucrats and technocrats. The organization and its members have been heavily involved in the environmental movement, including such individuals as Maurice Strong, Aurelio Peccei, Daisaku Ikeda and Mikhail Gorbachev to name but a few.

[From all quotes below, italicised text is original emphasis and bolded text is added by myself.]

Self-Reliance versus Collective Self-Reliance

From RIO: Reshaping the International Order: A Report to The Club of Rome (1976) [2]:

“Self-reliant development, with its reliance on local rather than imported institutions and technologies, is a means whereby a nation can reduce its vulnerability to decisions and events which fall outside its control: a self-reliant community will be more resilient in times of crisis. And since it is a style of development predicated upon a recognition of cultural diversity, it is an instrument against the excessive homogenization of cultures.” - 66

The above quote may sound like a normal definition of a self-reliant country. But this is an odd statement coming from a group which is constantly pushing the idea of interdependence. We need to look at their inner definition of self-reliance, that is collective self-reliance.

“Self-reliance cannot mean ’self-seclusion’, isolationism or autarky. No nation, given the nature of global interdependence, can exclude itself from the international system. The world has become too complex for that.” - 68

“Self-reliance applies at different levels: local, national and international [...] [internationally], it becomes collective self-reliance.” - 68

Territorial Sovereignty versus Functional Sovereignty

From RIO: Reshaping the International Order:

“Given the growing list of problems confronting mankind, every effort must be made to stimulate processes which point in directions which can be deemed desirable. This would certainly apply, for example, to the tendency towards the increasing centralization of decision-making involving issues beyond national frontiers should be viewed as a logical continuation of the process of change and a precondition for the effective assertion of national sovereignty.” - 103

The “increasing centralization of [international] decision-making” being a “precondition for the effective assertion of national sovereignty” may seem contradictory. To rectify this misconception, we again need to look to the inner meaning of the word sovereignty. The Club of Rome redefines it from the commonly implied “territorial sovereignty” to what they call “functional sovereignty”.

“Acceptance of these elements calls for a reinterpretation of the concept of national sovereignty. Participation and social control suggest a functional rather than a territorial interpretation of sovereignty, or jurisdiction over determined uses rather than geographical space. Conceptually, this interpretation will make possible the progressive internationalization and socialization of all world resources - material and non-material - based upon the ‘common heritage of mankind’ principle. It also permits the secure accommodation of inclusive and exclusive uses of these resources, or, in other words, the interweaving of national and international jurisdiction within the same territorial space [...] Ultimately, we must air for decentralized sovereignty with the network of strong international institutions which will make it possible.” - 82

The Common Heritage of Mankind

It is not always necessary to redefine old words or slogans, sometimes it is more appropriate to create new misleading ones to describe old ideas. The “common heritage of mankind” (or “functional ownership”) is a good example of this. If you are “left leaning” this concept will sound like fascism, if you are “right leaning” this concept will sound like communism. Regardless of the label you wish give it, the end result is centralized control over all resources.

From RIO: Reshaping the International Order:

“Effective planning and management calls for the fundamental restructuring of the United Nations so as to give it broad economic powers and a more decisive mandate for international economic decision-making [...] It is also hoped that major changes in the United Nations structure will be made over the next decade so that it is not only able to play a more forceful role in world political affairs but it is also able to become more of a World Development Authority in managing the socio-economic affairs of the international community. [...] The most effective way of articulating the planning and management functions of this organization would be through a functional confederation of international organizations, based upon existing, restructured and, in some instances, new United Nations agencies - to be linked through an integrative machinery. This system and its machinery, if it is really to reflect interdependencies between nations and solidarity between peoples, should ultimately aim at the pooling and sharing of all resources, material and non-material, including means of production, with a view to ensuring effective planning and management of the world economy and of global resource use in a way which would meet the essential objectives of equity and efficiency.” - 185

“In the long term, and assuming progress towards the creation of an equitable international economic and social order leading to a pooling of material and non-material resources, mineral resources will need to be viewed as a common heritage of mankind.” - 148

Global Governance not Global Government

From The First Global Revolution: A Report by the Council of The Club of Rome (1991) [3]:

“Not only have we to find better means of governance at national and international levels, but we have also to determine the characteristics of a capacity to govern. Global ‘governance,’ in our vocabulary, does not imply a global ‘government,’ but rather the institutions of cooperation, co-ordination and common action between durable sovereign states.” - 100

In Club of Rome terminology, don’t forget, “durable sovereign states” means “durable functionally sovereign states”. From the same book the term governance, as in global governance, is expanded on:

“We use the term governance to denote the command-mechanism of a social system and its actions, which endeavors to provide security, prosperity, wherence, order and continuity to the system. It necessarily embraces ideology of the system, which may (democratic) or may not (authoritarian) define means for effective consideration of the public will and accountability of those in authority. It also includes the structure of government of the system, its policies and procedures.” - 160

Unity Through Diversity

The following quote is from a book containing a series of lectures organized at the behest of Maurice Strong (an Executive Member of the Club of Rome) while he was Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment (1972). One of the lecturers was Aurelio Peccei, co-founder of The Club of Rome. The book was entitled Who Speaks for Earth?: Seven Citizens of the World on Major Issues of the Global Environment (1973) [4].

“As the various nations and regions continue to differentiate - in economic activities and in life styles - they must elaborate new ways of relating to each other so as to become progressively integrated into organic wholes. Differentiation must always be followed by integration. To symbolize the need of achieving unity through diversity, the United Nations might eventually come to be known as the Integrated Nations.

In practice, a global approach is needed when dealing with the problems of the spaceship earth which affect all of mankind. But local solutions, inevitably conditioned by local interests, are required for the problems peculiar to each human settlement.

These two contrasting attitudes concerning the environment are not incompatible : in fact they complement each other. The national loyalty that we must develop toward the planet as a whole need not interfere with the emotional attachment to our prized diversity. As we enter the global phase of social evolution, it becomes obvious that each one of us has two countries - his own and the planet earth. We cannot feel at home on earth if we do not continue to love and cultivate our own garden. And conversely, we can hardly feel comfortable in our garden if we do not care for the planet earth as our collective home.” - 42

“Unity through diversity” (or “act locally think globally” as a variation on the same slogan) is a very fluffy way of saying interdependence. The Club of Rome refers to interdependence as an organic society. From Mankind at the Turning Point: The Second Report to The Club of Rome (1974) [5]:

“The concept of the “organic growth” of mankind, as we have proposed in this report, is intended as a contribution toward achieving that end. Were mankind to embark on a path of organic growth, the world would emerge as a system of interdependent and harmonious parts, each making its own unique contributions, be it in economics, resources, or culture.

[...] Such an approach must start from and preserve the world’s regional diversity. Paths of development, region-specific rather than based on narrow national interests, must be designed to lead to a sustainable balance between the interdependent world-regions and to global harmony - that is, to mankind’s growth as an “organic entity” from its present barely embryonic state.” - viii

According to Bertrand Russell, a well bred elitist himself, an organic society is nothing more than totalitarianism. From The Impact of Science on Society (1952) [6]:

“Totalitarianism has a theory as well as a practice. As a practice, it means that a certain group, having by one means or another seized the apparatus of power, especially armaments and police, proceed to exploit their advantageous position to the utmost, by regulating everything in the way that gives them the maximum of control over others. But as a theory it is something different: it is the doctrine that the State, or the nation, or the community is capable of a good different from that of individual and not consisting of anything that individuals think or feel. This doctrine was especially advocated by Hegal, who glorified the State, and thought that a community should be as organic as possible. In an organic community, he thought, excellence would reside in the whole. An individual is an organism, and we do not think that his separate parts have separate goods: if he has a pain in his great toe it is he that suffers, not specially the great toe.

So, in an organic society, good and evil will belong to the whole rather than the parts. This is the theoretical form of totalitarianism.” - 64

Conclusion

The use, or more appropriately, the abuse of words is a characteristic of a psychopath or psychopathic group. As you have just seen, The Club of Rome is a well versed organization in this type of deceit and should be properly classified as such. It is very important for anyone trying to understand how these types of organizations operate, to take the time to understand the inner, or esoteric language developed for the elite within the organization. Without this understanding, the outer layer of propaganda’s suggestive insinuations will be dangerously misleading.

This is an example of community policing being so preoccupied with technology it misses the forest for the TREES. Why is there NO discussion in the police department in how to diffuse this AWFUL situation?? In my opinion, the FBI and local law enforcement have fanned the flames of this situation.

Seems to me we have the classic behaviour of a psycopath here on the part of Lori Drew. And the PROBLEM there is that society so often tolerates their behaviour,which is not considered mentally deranged!

There is nothing "normal" about psychopaths; they have no conscience but it isn't labelled as mentally defective. Trying finding it in a DSM - diagnostic statistical manual. And give it a google search and see if I am not right.

This is the classic case of power and control being used to harm a child, exactly the same as sexual abuse which isn't about "sex" as much as CONTROL.

No wonder people are so upset and no wonder so many are ANGRY.

Why this community is not organizing to get crisis workers together to help out the survivors of the trauma crisis is beyond me. Everyone who is coming into this situation is in full scale GRIEF. Someone died.

I don't advocate the stalking of Lori Drew: however, I sure don't like the fact that people are pointing fingers at those who are clearly upset.

I think it's time that some adults who understand trauma entered the scene and helped out. PRONTO. This is all so upsetting; no wonder people are ballistic.

Why are these so-called pro-child net advocates in weighing in on THIS?? They were sure FRONT AND CENTER at the CONgressional hearings on TERRORISM last week. Where are they NOW that this is RAGING!!

I ask you ... What does Homeland Security and the FBI actually do?? What does all this tax money actually get spent to DO??

Law lags as taunts ruin lives

DARDENNE PRAIRIE — One night last week, well after most of the families in this quiet community went to bed, a half-dozen police cars sped down Waterford Crystal Drive, lights flashing.

A man, they were told, had been fatally shot inside a home.

Neighbors opened doors, peered out windows and watched. As many as 15 deputies, they said, drew weapons and charged the home of Lori and Curt Drew.

But there was no body lying in a pool of blood. No weapon in Curt Drew's hand.

The call was a prank, one of many at the Drews' home this year. A lawn job. A brick through a window. Threatening phone calls. Paintball attacks.

The neighborhood is angry.

Residents are struggling to understand what happened here, in two homes four doors apart.

By now, the story is the subject of both national discussion and schoolyard lore:

One year ago, 13-year-old Megan Meier tied a cloth belt around a support beam in her closet and hanged herself. Her parents first said she was driven by a soured online romance, and the cruel, taunting Internet messages of a boy named Josh Evans.

Then they were told that Josh Evans didn't exist — that the Drews had concocted him to get back at Megan for quarreling with their daughter. According to a police report, Lori Drew said she wanted to know what Megan was saying online about her daughter and had "instigated and monitored" the fake account.

The Drews declined to comment for this story.

For the next year, the Meiers struggled privately for justice.

The FBI seized computers and interviewed families, yet gave up after a few months. Representatives from the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department said they could find no appropriate criminal charge. A U.S. prosecutor said much the same.

Even early interest from high-profile law firms, the Meiers say, has died down recently.

Authorities say there's little they can do.

And that leaves a neighborhood enraged at its own neighbors — the Drews.

"I flick 'em off whenever I see 'em," said Dave Beard, 26, who lives next to the Meiers.

The police are now worried residents will take the law into their own hands.

"Everybody in our department knows what's going on," said Lt. Craig McGuire, spokesman for the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department. "And everybody is afraid of what's going to happen there."

ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The problem, police and prosecutors say, is that technology is outpacing the law.

In some cases, said Jack Banas, St. Charles County prosecutor, the trouble is with evidence, and tracking the source of threatening Internet messages. "It may not be your neighbor who is sending it to you," Banas said. "It may be someone from another country."

In other cases, laws don't yet address online misconduct.

"It's a vast problem," he said.

And a national one.

In Florida, Jeff Johnston, 15, hanged himself by his book-bag strap in 2005 after three years of cyberspace bullying. His mother and principal had tried to stop the threats but couldn't.

In Vermont, Ryan Halligan, 13, hanged himself four years ago, after instant messages insulted and threatened him for months.

And here in O'Fallon this past April, a teen, now in college, got more than 500 sexually threatening and harassing messages through MySpace — the same social networking site Megan used to meet and talk to the fictitious Josh Evans.

Sometimes law enforcement can find ways to prosecute the bullies. But much more often, the indiscretion doesn't fall into an existing crime category.

In Megan Meier's case, authorities don't even see a misdemeanor.

"There does not appear to be a violation of any state statute, any federal statute," McGuire said. "We looked at it. The prosecuting attorney's office looked at it and the U.S. attorney's office looked at it, and there did not appear to be a charge."

'MY NAME IS JOSH'

Megan struggled with depression and a lack of confidence most of her life, her family said. She even threatened suicide a few times.

Megan was so badly bullied in seventh grade, and so unhappy, her parents pulled her from public school and moved her to the local Catholic grade school.

By the start of eighth grade, Megan had improved dramatically, her mother said. Her grades were good. She had shed a few pounds, as well as troublesome friendships. She seemed happy.

At roughly the same time, the Meiers gave Megan back Internet privileges she had lost in seventh grade after she and the Drews' daughter had set up a fake MySpace account, they said.

Back online, a boy messaged Megan almost immediately. Megan's mother was suspicious but let them talk under tight supervision.

Megan and Josh chatted online for roughly six weeks, Tina Meier said. Megan thought Josh really liked her. Her confidence soared.

Then, on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, Josh told Megan he'd heard she was a bad friend. According to the FBI transcript, Josh wrote: "yeah this is how i want to end it."

Megan was distraught: "josh i thought u were a nice guy but u ant ur just another (expletive) (expletive)."

Her mother told Megan to log off, then left for an appointment.

Megan, desperate to know who had told Josh she was mean, kept typing. As she guessed names, some of those teens fired back responses.

The effect, Tina Meier said, was an online pile-on.

The final message of the evening, the Meiers said, pushed their daughter over the edge. It's not in FBI transcripts. But Ron Meier remembers it saying this: "The world would be a better off place without you."

Tina Meier returned home to find her daughter sobbing at the computer. Meier sent Megan to her room.

Roughly 20 minutes later, Ron and Tina found their daughter hanging by a belt, knees bent, toes on the ground.

THE AFTERMATH

Megan Meier died the next day, just short of her 14th birthday.

But it took nearly six weeks before the Meiers found out Josh was fake.

Neighbors had to keep Ron Meier from attacking the Drews.

"I thought about killing them, cutting their heads off," Ron said.

Instead, Tina and Ron took an ax and a sledgehammer to a foosball table they had been storing for the Drews. They spray-painted "Merry Christmas" on its box, and dumped the splinters in the Drews' driveway.

The moment galvanized the neighborhood against the Drews.

The Meiers say the Drews came to their door several times, but the Meiers refused to talk. The Drews sent a letter, too, wanting to tell their story: "Things have now taken a turn that suggest that whatever information is being discussed surely goes beyond what we know."

Over the next year, it became clear to the Meiers that neither law enforcement nor law firms would bring the justice they wanted. They turned to the media. The Suburban Journals broke their story a little more than a week ago.

Overnight, the story made national headlines.

Bloggers ran with the story, inserting their own opinions. Thousands of readers responded. Erica Leger, 15 and a student at Francis Howell High School, wrote on facebook.com: "Show this to everyone, parents or other adults. We need to do something. Her death will be avenged."

The Meiers swore to fight for new laws.

The media attention has helped. Banas, the St. Charles County prosecutor, has decided to review the case. The Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen has pledged to adopt a new ordinance making Internet harassment a misdemeanor — the strongest measure it can take.

A BROKEN FAMILY

Before Megan's death, the Meiers were on top of life, neighbors said.

Court records show they had a 40-foot, $123,000 motor-yacht, a $300,000 house in a gated community in Florida, and a neighborhood they loved.

Now, they have the bills. Their Florida home is on the market. They've each filed restraining orders against the other. They're getting a divorce.

"Our family's broke up," Ron said. Tina moved in with her mother. Their other daughter, 11-year-old Allison, spends most of her time there.

The house on Waterford Crystal Drive feels empty, Ron says.

In Megan's room, he's put everything back as he remembers it. Her clothes are hanging again in the closet. Boy band posters cover the walls. The bed is made.

Ron has added stuff, too. A pink Christmas tree, decorated by friends. Two volleyballs, signed by Megan's teammates and classmates. A Hershey's bar, just like Megan used to give out, for good cheer.

There are also two light-up angels, hung in the front window.

Most nights, when Ron gets home and the street is dark, he plugs in the angels, and he feels a little closer to Megan.

The above comment appeared suddenly on our story “Megan Meier MySpace Suicide: Cruel Hoaxers Outed, Let the Lesser Outrage Begin“. Because DBKP has been covering this sad story from the moment it appeared, we supposed, the commentator felt compelled to let us know her feelings.

The comment was left by a poster named “Kristen” and led us to a blog by the sick name of “Megan Had It Coming“.

We checked out the blog and found one post on it. That post, in its entirety follows. At the end of it, “Kristen” brags that no one will be able to track her down.

Set the record straight

I want to set the record straight about Megan Meier. I’m calling myself Kristen because if i don’t want to give out my real name.

Megan and I were sort of friends. I always saw her at school and sometimes on myspace when her mom would let her on. I need to talk about what she was like because everyone has this picture of this innocent girl who had this horrible thing done to her. That’s sorta true but not totally.

Megan was a total drama queen. Yeah i know it was depression or whatever but it was hard to be her friend for very long because she would always lose it and turn into a psycho. That’s why the daughter stopped being friends with Megan. Let’s call her laura. Every other day Megan would have some crisis and you could see her freaking out down the hall or screaming at someone for stabbing her in the back or not listening to her or whatever then she would go cry to Laura unless it was her pissing her off. You couldn’t say anything to megan without her taking it the wrong way.Read the rest of the story:

For those of you who feel powerless against this injustice, please read. You are not powerless.. Public pressure CAN result in the proper handling of this case as it has many times before.

Example:

About a month ago, a child nearly drowned in the family swimming pool. The child was pulled inside the house to try to recessitate the child.

A cop who showed up after paramedics arrived, ran into the house and slipped on the wet floor. A floor wet, because the child was soaking wet.

After the cop received full pay for her workman's comp claim...and after all of the cops medical bills were paid....this cop proceeded to sue the family of the boy who is now a vegitable.

Public outrage and anger lead to the cop's suspension from the force...and the cop was finally forced to repeal her case.

Had this story been covered up and hidden, this cop would have gone forward and sued this grieving family while their child was still in intensive care.

See... you do have a voice... public pressure can give a victim a small amount of justice.

Megan Meier deserves at least a little justice in all this - not just some new law named after her.

If you feel the adult child predator in this case should bear some kind of responsibility to her part in this, then make sure your voice is heard.

Ms Drew could set this up on your child next...

Even if you watch your child like a hawk....remember the following.

Your child's friends have computers.

Your child's school has computers...

Libraries have computers...

If your child desperately desires to get to a computer, they will find one eventually...

And Ms. Drew, and others like her are waiting.

Justice deserves to prevail here...and so far it has NOT!

Personally, I think Robert Parry is good to raise this issue. Most have stayed totally mute on it.

She went and conferred with Buzh and I posted quite alot on it but the MSM was totally quiet about it.

After a brief glance at my over 100+ emails in a six hour period, the major stuff is on the rise of a third conservative religious party .. which means BuZh's base is further eroding and we must be ever cautious as to what that could mean potentially.

I will never sit and debate who is the lesser of evils and choose sides. But to have three of them! Horrors! But that is EXACTLY What I predicted a few weeks back.

Up here, in Canada, it takes the form of dissent wrapped up in a Canadian flag,
just a tactical difference made for the "climate" of opinion here.

Thing is they are ALL haters ...

All this seems to me is an attempt by all sides to divert attention from the real genocide going on .. mostly aimed at people of color, which they have extended right into all those in the Middle East as worthy of extermination.. sad to say, they'll take US troops with them and "blame" whatever happens on them.

So let me see if I’ve got this right: Hillary Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner for the presidential nomination, is demanding that George W. Bush take a more belligerent posture toward Iran

In her view – and that of 75 other members of the U.S. Senate – President Bush hasn’t been aggressive or hasty enough in designating a large part of the Iranian military, the Revolutionary Guards, as an international terrorist organization.

The Senate resolution, approved on Sept. 26, recounts allegations that elements of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have supplied Iraqi Shiite militias with “explosively formed penetrator” bombs that have shattered U.S. armored vehicles and killed American troops.

In response, the Senate resolution calls on President Bush to list the Revolutionary Guards as “specially designated global terrorists.” In opposing the resolution, Sen. James Webb, D-Virginia, warned that the move could be tantamount to a declaration of war.

Despite Webb’s protest, 29 Democrats joined Republicans and neoconservative Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut to pass the “sense of the Senate” resolution. The Democrats egging Bush on included Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada, California’s Dianne Feinstein and Michigan’s Carl Levin.

Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and Richard Lugar of Indiana were the only Republicans voting no. Democratic presidential hopefuls Joe Biden of Delaware and Chris Dodd of Connecticut also opposed the measure. Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois was absent but said he would have voted against it. Pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran is Israel’s policy & increasingly shrill goal.]

But Hillary Clinton, who also voted to grant Bush the authority to go to war with Iraq in 2002 and staunchly supported the war for the next three years before reinventing herself as an Iraq War critic, now has reverted to her old hawkish self, jumping out ahead of Bush in urging a more hostile policy toward Iran.

Besides the extraordinary notion that Bush needs prodding into greater belligerence, there is the dangerous & delusional] definitional problem of throwing the broad cloak of “terrorism” over Iraqis, who are resisting a U.S. military invasion force, and their alleged Iranian allies.

The classic definition of terrorism is violence directed against civilians to make a political point. The term shouldn't be applied to an indigenous population fighting an irregular war against a foreign occupying army, since that would have made everyone from George Washington to the French Resistance to the Afghanis confronting the Soviet occupation "terrorists."

Though Americans understandably detest anyone killing U.S. soldiers – whatever the circumstances – it is not "terrorism." In effect, the Senate resolution is choosing to use “terrorist” as a geopolitical curse word against any combatant who challenges U.S. military might.

While that "tough-guy/gal" stance might make political sense domestically – condemning anyone who dares take up arms against U.S. soldiers – the risk is that once the word “terrorist” is attached, it effectively dictates a course of action: negotiations with "terrorists" are prohibited and a host of draconian actions become unavoidable, even if they are counterproductive.

With a peaceful solution off the table, violence is almost guaranteed to escalate; more U.S. soldiers are likely to die; and American interests may be damaged. One might have thought that the lesson of loosely applying the epithet “terrorist” to an adversary would have been learned from the debacle that followed Bush falsely linking Saddam Hussein to al-Qaeda.

That is a lesson now measured by the blood of some 3,800 dead American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis. But it is a lesson that Hillary Clinton and those other senators – with their fingers to the political winds – apparently still haven’t learned.
